In an Islamic educational institution, the curriculum is considered as the core of the teaching rules. Within its limits and its development has a major role to improve the value of education and teaching. Integrated curriculum in Islamic education is learning to form a unity. The output of this integrated curriculum is to prepare future humans with character, noble character, wide-minded, intelligent, and skilled. This study aims to explore the concept of an integrated curriculum in the perspective of Islamic education. This study uses the literature study method. The results of the study show that an integrated curriculum is the only choice in the practice of Islamic education, so that the educational process is not partial, but whole, comprehensive, and integrative.

Character education is an effort in dealing with the various challenges that the shifts from character are facing today. The purpose of character education is to develop various abilities of students to make good and bad decisions, maintain good values and make them happen in everyday life in home, school, or in a community environment. However, in the era of industrial revolution 4.0 or known as the millennial generation, there have been various problems that inhibit the development of character education for students. These problems include the origin of the students themselves (internal factors) and from outside (external factors). Internal factors include instincts, habits, heredity, desire or willpower and conscience. While the external factors are promiscuity, the influence of gadgets, the negative influence of television, family and school.

This study aims to elaborate learning models of ilmu farâ'id. This study uses library research methods. The model is a plan, representation or description that describes an object, system or concept that is often in the form of simplification or idealization. Learning can be said as a result of memory, cognition, and metacognition that affects understanding. This happens when someone is learning, and this condition also often occurs in everyday life, because learning is a natural process for everyone. In general, the learning model is a method or systematic presentation technique used by the teacher in organizing the experience of the learning process in order to achieve the objectives of a learning. The study of farâ’idh includes interactive learning, card sort strategies, CTL (contextual teaching and learning), Al-Farâidh Android-based and lecture methods, questions and answers, memorization, assignments, discussions, problem solving, demonstrations, and constructivism methods. The science of farâ’idh or also called the science of mawaris is the science of the distribution of inheritance after a person dies or dies. This science regulates the problem of the distribution of inheritance for heirs in accordance with the provisions that have been written in the Qur'an. Another similar opinion explains that the science of farâ’idh is a science so that every Muslim knows who has the right to receive inheritance and those who do not have to receive inheritance, as well as what price or value is received by the heirs and how they are distributed.

Education includes character education, which is a deliberate process to instill character in students. Character education is very important, because with character, humans will be noble and become special beings compared to other creatures and even fellow human beings. Because of the very importance of character education, the existence of a method to achieve it also becomes very important. This study aims to elaborate exemplary methods in character development. By using library research and reflection methods, this research found that modeling is the most important and most effective character education method provided that: it is comprehensively carried out by educators in each educational environment; conducted together with other educational methods; and shown in three aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor.

Development of awareness of the importance of the environment is a journey that must be pioneered for the sake of the survival of the next generation so that it is not threatened due to irresponsible human behavior today. Environmental education aims at introducing various values and explaining concepts to develop the ability of attitudes and skills needed to understand and appreciate the mutual relations between humans, culture, and the biophysical environment. This analysis was developed as an effort to further explore the development of environmental awareness in Islamic education. The development of environmental awareness can be implemented through religious values with an environmental perspective in Islamic educational institutions. The religious climate in the environment in Islamic educational institutions can be realized through approaches: 1) the creation of a religious education environment, 2) the realization of worship facilities, 3) the realization of the learning method by using the approach of religious values in every learning, especially religious values with an environmental perspective 4 ) the realization of the example of educators who have noble morals in particular having a concern for the environment.

Moderate Muslims’ Views on Multicultural Education, Freedom of Expression, and Social Media Hate Speech: An Empirical Study in West Java Indonesia Husni, Husni

West Java Province is often assumed to be the center of radical Islam growth in Indonesia, especially since the reform era. The truth and validity of this presumption need to be proven empirically. Indeed, in this province, there are a number of hardline Islamic organizations with the members spread in almost all corners of West Java. The Wahid Foundation survey from 2010 to 2017 always put this province with the highest incidence of religious-based violence. Therefore, the study on the views of moderate Muslim leaders on freedom of expression, hate speech on social media, and the importance of multicultural education are deemed to be very necessary. The qualitative research data on 73 moderate Muslim figures in West Java was collected by direct interviews, via email, social media, telephone calls, and from their opinions in various media. The results showed that moderate Muslim leaders in West Java uphold and respect freedom of expression as one of the basic human rights, but they refuse if this right is misused to spread hate speech. They also agree with the importance of rules and law enforcement to overcome the problem of spreading hate speech, but according to them, the legal aspect is not the only approach. They view multicultural education as a long-term strategy to build a mature democratic society with high ethical standards.

Curriculum plays an important role in realizing future generations that are useful for the nation and state. Who has the nature of responsibility, creative, innovative, and become an expert. The curriculum is the heart of a school and the school is the heart of society and the society is the heart of the nation. So that the nation will advance if it has high quality and high quality of human resources. However, curriculum development often finds many problems that require consideration and solution from the discussion of definitions, scope, characteristics, principles, objectives, concepts, as well as curriculum development and as well as learning and character education which are emphasized in the national curriculum. The understanding of character, components, elements, goals, functions, principles, character values, methods of character education concepts, to curriculum problems and character education learning is so important for us to understand.
