Abstract

In South Kalimantan, the manuscripts on tafsir up to this present were not found. Thetopics were dominated by the sufism and jurisprudence. This fact, actually become thegeneral phenomena in Indonesia. The manuscript was discussed here speak aboutbalaghah knowledge , especially on Majaz. By this manuscript, the writer want tomake a relation between manuscript of non-tafsir and the tafsirs study. Here, thewriter use the filology approach, while for the tafsir, writer analyzed the verses in thetext using the tafsir approach. Actually, the verses were qouted here only five verses, evenit part of the verses. The qouted verses here were examples of the quran than containedthe study of majaz. The explanation of writer on that verses of quran is a tafsiraccording to the writes.

Abstract

Syahrur is a contemporary Muslim scholar who offers an innovative theory in Islamic law that is the theory of limits (hudud) which is divided into two namely the maximum limit (hadd al-A'la) and the minimum limit (hadd al-Adna). This paper will answer about how Muhammad Syahrur interprets the veil in Q.S. an-Nur [24]: 31 and al-Ahzab [33]: 59 by using his boundary theory. The results of the study of the two verses are on the minimum limit (hadd al-Adna) generally accepted is to cover the upper region (al-juyub al-ulwiyah), namely the area of the breast, under the armpit, and close the lower intimate area (al -juyub as-sufliyyah). While the maximum limit (hadd al-A'la) generally applicable is the part included in the category of al-juyūb, whether al-juyub al-'ulwiyyah or al-juyūb as-sufliyyah ie the whole body of women except the face and both palms.

Abstract

In Quranic studies, the issues of Muhkam and Mutasyabbih verses always have been discussed, how to understandeach them. Interpreting mutasyabihat verses has been a need because many of them tell about theology in the context ofanthropomorphism. Almost all scholars tend to use takwil to interpret them, but Abdul Azz bin Abdullh bin Bzoffered the opposite method. He avoided takwil. In this study, this writing discusses how Ibn Bz understood mutasyabihatverses especially about anthropomorphism. As a conclusion, the researcher found that the anti-takwil is stated by IbnBz and his allies, in its practice was sometimes contradictory. To enrich this article, the writer will trace the genealogyof the thought of Ibn Bz and his dialectic with the understanding or other streams such as Mutazilah, Asyariyyahto Maturidiyah

Abstract

The effort to study and explore the meaning of the Qur'an has been done by Muslims through various approaches of knowledge, among others by interpreting methodologically as many previous mufassir done, such as ijmali method, tahlili, maudhu'i, and muqaran. This method is also applied (developed) at the level of educational institutions in the Department of Qur’anic and Tafsir Studies, Faculty of Ushuluddin and Humanities IAIN Antasari. Based on the results of students’ research,  this study provides an indication that the themes of Qur'anic commentary studies show many variations, especially in the application of the developed interpretation methodology.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menguraikan tentang pandangan Imm al-Syfi kedudukan sunnah yangmerupakan tradisi berasal dari Nabi saw. dan penyelesaian hadis yang secararedaksional berbeda menurut sebagian ulama. Dalam pemikiran al-Syfi sunnahmeskipun diriwayatkan oleh satu orang saja, akan tetapi memenuhi syarat kesahihanhadis yang dirumuskan oleh ulama, maka dalam menetapkan hukum harusdidahulukan dari praktek hidup masyarakat apalagi keputusan akal semata. Dalamtulisan ini juga diuraikan bahwa Imm al-Syfi merumuskan suatu jawaban dalammenyikapi beberapa Hadis yang oleh sebagian pihak dinilai bertentangan, denganteori al-jam, nsikh-manskh, tarjh dan tanawwu al-Ibdah.

Abstract

The validity of hadith is not only seen from the sanad aspect, but also from matan. Hadith scholars set two criteria forthe validity of the matan, both are avoid syaz and illah. Disability element of matan at syaz lies in the contention ofthe matan. The illah aspect of matan was because of the additional editorial matan when compared with other. Al-Adlabi formulated the criteria of the validity of matan based on four things namely; 1). It is not contradicting with theKoran; 2). It is not contrary with the valid hadith and sirah nabawiyah; 3). It is not contrary to reason, sense andhistory; and 4). It is similar with the prophetic word. If the formula of al-Adlabis matan criticism is seen in aspectsof syaz and illah, then it appears that his offering is only covers one aspect of the syaz of matan criticism. While thecriteria of illah have not been accommodated in the rule.

Abstract

Using mixed methods has not been widely discussed in the field of religious studies in Indonesia. This paper is presented to acomodate the use of this method in the study of religion in the region empirically. There are a number of strategies of mixed methods that can be used in studying religion, namely sequential mixed method, mixed method, and transformative concurrent mixed method. Each strategy is subdivided into several variants of strategies. All of these strategies can be used in studying the phenomenon of religion in accordance to the condition of the object, purpose of research and selection of researchers. Religious researchers can use this method if they want to understand religious phenomena simultaneously.

Abstract

Purification movements usually tend to reject outright to Sufism, but KH. Mochjar Dahri as the purifier actually appreciated and accepted Sufism as part of Islamic teaching, although many Sufism teachings did not appropriate in the Qur'an and as-Sunnah which he criticized and renewed. Therefore, it is necessary to be studied deeper on his Sufism thoughts. This research aims to study the sufism thought of KH. Mochjar Dahri in the Mursyid al-‘Ibȃd ilȃ Sabȋl ar-Rasyâd and Ȃtsȃr at-Tashawwuf fȋ Hayȃt alMuslim. This type of research is a study of figure thought. The data are collected through literature and field study. As a result: 1) KH. Mochjar Dahri’s thought related to sufism showed in Mursyid al-‘Ibȃd ilȃ Sabȋl ar-Rasyâd is about al-aqabât which includes taubah, tauhid, dzikir, sabar, syukur, tawakkal, ridhâ, and mahabbah. KH. Mochjar Dahri in his work used the term al-aqabât, whereas Sufi scholars usually use the term al-maqâmât, but the term al-aqabât mentioned above seems to have similarities, even though it has differences in the term of al-maqâm. The Sufism thoughts of KH. Mochjar Dahri in the Ȃtsȃr at-Tashawwuf fȋ Hayât al-Muslim was divided into two typologies of Sufism, namely true Sufism (at-tashawwuf ash-shahîh) and deviant Sufism (at-tashawwuf al-mukhti`). Sufism according to him is the practice of shari’ah physically and mentally on the foundation of the Qur’an and as-Sunnah maximally and optimally. The practice of the Five Pillars of Islam and the Five Pillars of Faith are applied in the form of al-ihsân, which is called Sufism, and 2) The pattern of KH. Mochjar Dahri’s sufism in the Mursyid al-‘Ibȃd ilȃ Sabȋl ar-Rasyâd is akhlâqî/‘amalî. The pattern of KH. Mochjar Dahri’s sufism in the Ȃtsȃr at-Tashawwuf fȋ Hayât al-Muslim is a neo-sufism that emphasizes purity and activist characteristics

Abstract

This paper studies about the history and the dynamic of knowledge developing in Islam.The glorious of Islamic civilization which were signed by the advance of knowledgedeveloping around 7th to 13th centuries was not something hapened by an accident,but through long process and it was related with the prestige of muslims in field ofknowledge. In the centuries that called as the golden age of Islam, muslim civilizationbecome the central of world civilization and give the high contribution in emerging themodern western civilization. While, in next phase when muslim become underdevelopingcountries it was also related with the status on knowledge that marginalized and stagnantedin inmuslim world. There were many theories and argumentations from many expertsthat stated about the factors caused the falling of muslim. The falling of muslim peoplein same time is also the problem of mainkind together, because the western moderncivilization was ambigious in understanding the concept of knowledge.

Abstract

This study is a research-based research is research library which starts from understanding the traditions relating to human actions, in this case the actions of people who exist in the understanding of the traditions of the prophet were analyzed using Matan pendektan and critical theory ala Muhammad al-Ghazalii, the da two important questions in this study, the first of how the views of Muhammad al-Ghazali against the traditions of the human actions in relation to understanding jabariyyah and Qadariyyah, both how the biography of the life of Muhammad al-Ghazali al.hasil of this study is, first that Muhammad al-Ghazali criticized traditions of human actions according to the jabriyyah and feed space impartial understanding with a view Qadiriyyah. Both figures dalah know boigrafi Muhammad al-Ghazali, sebgai contemporary thinkers capable hadith in Muslim world.
