Abstract

AbstractResearch takes place on Sanjaya Raden Group, Parigi Village, Tapin District, South Kalimantan is focused to determine the form of performances and characterization techniques in the art of theater Kuda Gipang Carita. This research use approach (method): qualitative-descriptive. Data collection techniques include, observation, documentation, interview, and literature. The results of this study mentions that the Kuda Gepang Carita is a folk theater art forms of South Kalimantan royal palace-centric show. Form of presentation has a structure that contains six sections: mangibar, trial kingdom, scenes, climax and cover. Abstract

AbstractThe value of culture is the conception of ideal or idealized images of something that is deemed valueable, life in mid and are embodied in the norms of society. The lyrics are an expression of an author who comes from inside her about something they have seen, heard and felt. The song is a song has speak Banjar. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the form of presentation of dance creations Babangsai Bakanjaran terms of the motion structure, musical accompaniment, makeup-fashion, property and the venue. The object of research is descriptive qualitative art gallery Labastari Kandangan in Hulu Sungai Selatan, South Kalimantan Province. Data collection techniques using field observations, interviews and documentation. Based on the survey results revealed that the form of presentation of dance creation Babangsai Bakanjaran motion that has a structure of early motion, motion climax and final movements. Musical accompaniment using isntrumen music like saron, a large baboon, baboon small, luma, Sundanese harp, flute and gongs. Character dressing dancers are beautiful women and handsome men. Clothing female dancers use a skirt, dress spangle, headbands, earrings (bunil), while the male dancers fashion model pants, shirt, belt elongation and laung Banjar. The property used is gandang dayak and karimpit. Abstract

AbstractResearch manifold-descriptive qualitative attempts to describe and interpret the structure of Wayang Kulit Purwa Banjar performances in the village Barikin, South Kalimantan. Through insider approach, researchers used observation, interview and documentation to collect data and analyze it-hermeneutical interpretive. The structure is a puppet show has three babakan/main parts: opening, contents and closure. The structure of the note also contains the implicit meaning and value. Abstract

AbstractThis experimental research aims to determine the learning outcomes of musical ensembles, recorder (soprano) in SMP Negeri 2 Banjarmasin using two methods of learning: peer tutoring and conventional. This study also seek out differences in the results of the two methods. Two classes of samples in this study were taken by purposive random sampling technique. Peer tutoring learning methods applied in the experimental class, and conventional teaching methods applied in the control class. Data collection techniques used are tests and documentation, while data analysis using descriptive statistical techniques. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the learning outcomes of students who use peer tutoring learning methods that are in a good qualifying with an average value of 82.91; (2) the results of student learning using the conventional method is more than enough in qualifying with an average value of 78.90; and; (3) test based on statistics found differences in student learning outcomes were significant between experimental class using peer tutors to grade control using conventional methods. Similarly it can be said that results for students in the experimental class is better than learning outcomes in the control class.Keywords: peer tutoring, learning, music ensembles, recorder

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the angklung ensemble learning in children with special needs in SLB-C Negeri Pembina Kalimantan Selatan. Aspects studied is about learning methods, the selection of teaching materials and evaluation of learning outcomes. From a qualitative approach-deskpirtif, as well as from the use of observation, interviews and documentation in data collection of this research, it is a picture that the methods used by teachers are: lectures, demonstrations, drill, frequently asked questions, gestures, and reward methods. Selection of instructional materials selected by adjusting the memory skills of students. The material is also delivered with the use of media numeral notation. For the evaluation of learning outcomes, using the teachers assess student performance tests while studying.Keywords: learning, ensemble music, angklung, children with special needs

Abstract

AbstractResearch descriptive-qualitative manifold trying to make sense of fashion and the characteristics of the characterizations of the characters in the traditional theater Mamanda, Wajir. Data were obtained through observation, interviews and documentation. At the show Mamanda, Wajir is a character that has a very important role. Theater semiotic analysis is used as a method in conclusion. From the analysis, it was found that the difference between the figures Wajir with another character on the show Mamanda is on the clothing she was wearing. Wajir Clothing is known to contain the influence of Chinese culture and Arabic. From the characteristics and form of clothing Wajir, it can be concluded that the clothing and characterizations Wajir teach the values of religious and moral education.Keywords: mamanda, wajir, fashion, character, traditional theater

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe organologi and basic techniques of playing traditional musical instruments sampek in East Kalimantan. This study used a qualitative approach to data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. Data analysis was done by the process of categorization, preparation, systematization, and then draw conclusions. Test validation of the data used is source triangulation techniques, techniques da time. Based on this research, it is known that organologi sampek consists of seven parts, the basic techniques of playing sampek have the four stages, and how to play sampek has six stages.Keywords: traditional music, sampek, east kalimantan

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the function and form of Persembahan Bersujud Dance in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan. With descriptive qualitative approach, this research data obtained through observational studies in Tanah Bumbu, interviews with sources and documentation associated with prostration Dance Tribute. The results showed that the function dan form performance Persembahan Bersujud Dance in Tanah Bumbu regency is known as the entertainment on the way-local Goverment official events. In addition, this dance also serves as a medium of education through moral teachings in the lyrics or lyrics accompaniment. Persembahan Bersujud Dance is a new creation dance under the guidance of H. Bakhtiar Sanderta. This dance depicts the peculiarities of society Tanah Bumbu very thick with the influence of Islam and its plurality, that is a mix between Bugis and Banjar tribe.Keywords: persembahan bersujud dance, function, form performances, tanah bumbu
