Abstract

The rapid growth of digital banking services has revolutionized the global financial industry. However, the adoption of Islamic digital banking continues to warrant empirical examination, particularly in Muslim-majority countries such as Indonesia. As religious values increasingly influence financial decision-making, it is important to understand the behavioral factors that drive the adoption of Islamic digital banking services. This study aims to examine the determinants of Islamic digital banking adoption in Indonesia by employing the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), extended by incorporating religiosity as both a direct predictor and a moderating variable. A total of 223 respondents who are active users of Islamic digital banking services participated in this study. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that social influence and facilitating conditions significantly affect both behavioral intention and actual usage behavior. Religiosity also plays a direct role in shaping customers’ behavior, but it does not moderate the relationship between behavioral intention and actual usage. In contrast, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use do not show a significant effect on adoption intention. These findings highlight the importance of leveraging community-based social influence and strengthening digital infrastructure. Islamic banks are therefore encouraged to collaborate with credible influencers, enhance service reliability, and integrate Islamic values into customer education programs in order to promote wider adoption of Islamic digital banking services.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of professionalism and service delivery on service quality and customer satisfaction in public administration, with a focus on the Bukittinggi City Samsat Office. The research also explores the mediating role of service quality in these relationships. The study employs Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to analyze survey data collected from 100 respondents. The SERVQUAL model serves as the theoretical foundation, with professionalism and service delivery as key predictors of service quality and customer satisfaction. The results indicate that professionalism significantly influences service quality and customer satisfaction. Similarly, service delivery has a strong positive effect on both service quality and customer satisfaction. Moreover, service quality acts as a significant mediator, reinforcing the need for continuous improvements in employee professionalism, structured service processes, and customer engagement. These findings highlight the importance of service quality as a central factor in public service management. Government agencies should focus on digital transformation, workflow optimization, and employee training to improve service delivery. The study also suggests integrating Business Information Systems (BIS) to enhance data-driven decision-making and service performance monitoring. This study contributes to the public service quality literature by examining the interplay between professionalism, service delivery, and customer satisfaction using SEM-PLS. It provides practical recommendations for improving e-Government services and enhancing public trust in government institutions.

Abstract

Introduction - Indonesia has experienced a surge in citizens seeking healthcare services abroad, resulting in a loss of foreign exchange of up to 165 trillion rupiah per year. This situation highlights the need for a competitive domestic health tourism development strategy.Purpose - The objective of this study is to develop a health tourism business process model based on the APQC Process Classification Framework (PCF) to create structured, efficient, and globally competitive services.Design/Methodology/Approach - The study employs a descriptive approach with process mapping using the APQC framework, which spans from strategic to operational levels. Data was obtained from literature reviews and conceptual analysis.Result/Finding - Findings indicate that regions such as Bali, Jakarta, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, Medan, Malang, and Manado possess diverse potential for health tourism development, including medical infrastructure, digital maturity, and unique cultural and natural features. The designed business process model illustrates service selection flows, actor interactions, and sector integration.Originality/Value - This study offers a new approach to health tourism business process modelling using the APQC framework, which has not been widely applied in Indonesia. Its contribution lies in the systematic design that can serve as a reference for the government and private sector.Limitation - This study is still limited to descriptive analysis using secondary data sources. Field validation or stakeholder involvement has not been conducted, so the effectiveness of the model needs further testing.
