Abstract

Increasing human productivity accompanied by increasingly advanced developments has an impact on the need for faster and easier communication and data exchange, one of which is using a mobile smartphone. ReResik application is an application that is used to report the accumulation of garbage. Garbage accumulation is a problem that is often encountered, one of which is in Gunungkidul tourism objects, so there needs to be a solution to solve this problem. One solution is to utilize Global Positioning System (GPS) and Firebase technology to create a waste reporting application. The use of GPS can make it easier to report the accumulation of garbage in a place by utilizing geo tagging technology and the complexity of the features found in Firebase provide user convenience both in terms of application development and the use of features in applications that can facilitate reporting and recipients of waste reports. All functions in the ReResik Application run according to design. Tests in the field can show the location of the accumulation of waste with photos sent with the difference in the accuracy of the location where the report of accumulation of waste occurs 1.38 meters from the location point sent by the application. The average data transfer capability of the ReResik Application upload is 1161.8 ms for the reporting section and 1004.2 ms for the cleaning staff. Functional testing of photos uploaded to Firebase has gone through the process of automatically compressing photos with an average value percentage of 61.22% of the uploaded photo size.

Abstract

MEMS is an integrated electro-mechanical device which the technology has been applied to various applications, one of which is for the fabrication of microsensors, such accelerometers, microsensors for flow sensing, pressure sensing and mass sensing. In the MEMS implementation, there are several approaches and structures that can be used. This study designed a MEMS resonator mass sensor by the means of a mechanical resonator approach with free-free beam structure and actuated electrostatically. The design is expected to produce a MEMS based mass sensor with a high performance.

Abstract

Bagian timur–selatan kaki Gunung Ungaran, Jawa Tengah dikenal sebagai daerah prospek panasbumi dengan manifestasi panasbumi matair hangat – panas. Masyarakat maupun pemerintah setempat, memanfaatkan manifestasi tersebut sebagai area wisata ataupun pemandian/kolam air panas yang dapat dijumpai di area wisata Candi Gedongsongo, Diwak, Derekan, Kaliulo, dan Banaran. Manifestasi matair panas muncul di permukaan dengan suhu dan karakteristik yang berbeda. Hal ini dimungkinkan karena adanya perbedaan tipe fluida hidrotermal, sehingga menarik dilakukan penentuan tipe fluida hidrotermal berdasarkan kandungan anionnya—Cl-, SO42-, dan HCO3-. Fluida hidrotermal muncul di permukaan sebagai air alkali klorida, air asam sulfat, air asam sulfat–klorida, dan air bikarbonat. Hasil analisis konsentrasi anion pada ke-lima lokasi, menunjukkan konsentrasi Cl- tertinggi ± 4.475 ppm dijumpai pada matair panas Diwak dengan konsentrasi HCO3- 127 – 500 ppm dan SO42- relatif rendah. Tipe fluida hidrotermal mataair panas Gedongsongo, Derekan, Kaliulo, dan mataair Banaran berupa Air Bikarbonat, serta mataair panas Diwak berupa Air Klorida.

Abstract

The development of communication is increasing in the last decade, so that new infrastructure and technology emerge. The technology used to realize this time, is not only by using multi antenna technique, but also used orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). But on systems that use OFDM will be sensitive to the effects of Doppler shifts and will result in inter carrier interference (ICI). To compensate for the influence of the Doppler shift on the HAPS communication system with ricean canals, a modified jakes model is needed. Based on the simulation, the ricean canal (HAPS communication system) has a small slope width so that it has characteristics close to LOS. The calculation of the Doppler shift in this study showed that the higher the speed, the greater the Doppler shift value while the greater the K factor, the smaller the Doppler shift value. So that the higher the K factor, the communication system is getting closer to LOS, the damping and noise values are getting smaller.

Abstract

This research was aimed to know the performance of engine using variation of plastic waste pyrolysis and premium process result-gasoline fuel mix and pure premium and comparing with pure premium. The fuel mix variation used consisted of 20% plastic waste pyrolysis process result oil, 80% premium and 49%plastic waste pyrolysis process result oil, 60%premium. The research procedures included firstly the tested engine given pure premium fuel and the engine was run for 2-3 minutes by installing a transmission gear in 4th position, then rotation, torsion, power and specific fuel consumption was measured. Furthermore, the engine was stopped and the fuel was substituted with varied plastic waste pyrolysis process result oil mix, the engine was re-run. The measurement rotations, torsion, power and specific fuel construction was conducted by the same way with pure premium fuel testing. Out of test results for the same rotation of 5000-8000 engine RPM using fuel mix of 20% plastic waste pyrolysis process result oil the average power was 10.04 HP, average torsion of 11.10 Nm, specific fuel consumption of 0.100 kg/hour HP and engine using fuel mix of 40% plastic waste pyrolysis process result oil the average power was 9.7 HP, average torsion of 10.82 NM, specific fuel consumption o f 0.068 kg/hour HP. While using pure premium the average power was 9.8 HP, average torsion of 10.94 Nm, specific fuel consumption was 0.103 kg/hour HP. If compared, so that engine performance using fuel mix of 40% plastic waste pyrolysis process result oil and 60% premium almost approached engine performance using pure premium fuel and actually 20% fuel mix of plastic waste pyrolysis process result oil and 80% premium was better.

Abstract

Good and efficient Air cargo handling, especially for dangerous goods transportation need to be supported by licensed dangerous goods handling personnel and supported by the transport handling facilities as well as standard procedure. Comprehensive standards and procedures are required to reduce the risk of accidents caused by an error in the handling of the dangerous goods transportation. Main problems in this study: first, to analyse the process of air cargo transportation handling at the Adisutjipto Airport; second, to analyse the standard of the dangerous goods handling personel. The cargo handling process consists of Outgoing (Acceptance, weighing, Documentation, Marking & labeling, X-ray, Storage, Build-up, and Loading) and Incoming (Check Incoming Massage, Unloading, Breakdown, check lists, Physical Examination, Storage, Notice of Arrival, Delivered). The mathematical model of Dangerous Goods Handling Personnel Number Standard: DG Personel Cargo Agent Type A = c.% DG. (2,89 x 10^-2) DG Personnel Warehousing Type B = c.% DG (4,53 x 106-3), DG Personnel Airline Type B = c.%DG. (4,89 X 10^-4).

Abstract

Aceh Tamiang is the province o f Aceh. The use of electrical energy is still not resolved in this case because of the lack of appropriate policies that can be taken because there is still no research how the amount of electrical energy consumption in Aceh Tamiang. the research method used is a model based approach to End Use of data population and households, the data GDP at constant prices, and consumption of electrical energy. All data is sourced from related agencies such as Bappeda Aceh Tamiang Data PLN Kuala Simpang branch. Forecasting electric energy consumption in Aceh on five sectors is the year 2013 was 48.8 GWh, while, in 2030 total energy consumption reached 76.5 GWh, this is an increase of 63.7 percent. The household sector accounted for the largest increase in consumption compared with other sectors for each year.

Abstract

There are many variation of Gauss-Jordan Calculator. Students can use it to solve various types of linear equations.  But all of them just straightly show the result. There is no such calculator which shows the step by step to get the result. Therefore, the students cannot understand how to do Gauss-Jordan Elimination. One program that can be developed to make Gauss-Jordan calculator is matlab. This article examines matlab program which can help students to understand Gauss-Jordan Elimination methods. It tends to focus on the process to get solution. This program reveals with the step by step of operation in Gauss-Jordan to make reduced row-echelon form. Numbers of operations drawn in the solutions of linear simultaneous equations have also been showed. This paper has a propensity to appraise the performance of matlab program in solving linear equation problems with n variables while showing every steps of Gauss-Jordan Elimination. Further it has the potential to develop this program to be a calculator that can be access without opening matlab.

Abstract

In the development of wireless communication, the development of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle a long distance is a challenge. One technique to make it happen is by using a signal amplifier that can add facilities to the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle controller using Remote Control (RC).The signal amplifier that operates at 72.83 MHz frequency is designed with four amplifier levels with 2SC930, 2SC2053 and 2SC1971 series transistors. This signal amplifier is designed to operate in class A for levels I, II, III, and class C for level IV with impedance adjustment circuits namely type T and L. On the part of the omnidirectional transmitter antenna. According to the designer, the frequency used is 72.83MHz with a bandwidth of 30kHz. The amplitudo peak level produced is -27dBm with a reference level of 0 dBm. High results indicate the amplifier can work at a frequency of 72.83 MHz with power ranging from 4.5 watts or gain of 16.58 dB and approaching the designer's results. Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) which measures 1.1 with a minimum VSWR limit of 1.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menyelidiki pengaruh kecepatan landing vertikal terhadap ketahanan beban impak rangka landing gear menggunakan metode elemen hingga. Analisis tegangan dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Autodesk Inventor Professional 2017. Material rangka landing gear menggunakan Aluminium paduan 5083. Pesawat UAV memiliki berat 100 kg dan waktu impak 0,5 detik. Kecepatan landing vertikal yaitu 7 m/s, 8 m/s, 9 m/s, dan 10 m/s. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa rangka landing gear cukup aman untuk menahan kecepatan landing hingga 9 m/s karena memiliki faktor keamanan sebesar 3,201.
