Abstract

Tuhan menciptakan manusia dengan dua jenis kelamin yaitu laki-laki dan perempuan. Kedua jenis ini memiliki perbedaan baik dari segi fisik maupun mental. Ada hal yang membedakan laki-laki dan perempuan yaitu salah satunya cara berpikir. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah “Apakah ada pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Waru”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Waru. Jenis pendekatan penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Waru. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIIA SMPN 3 Waru yang diambil dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode tes yaitu berupa tes uraian atau essay. Berdasarkan analisis data diperoleh bahwa sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Setelah data berdistribusi normal dan homogen, data dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji-t dan diperoleh thitung = -3,48757 dan nilai ttabel = -2,03452 dengan taraf signifikan 5%, sehingga nilai thitung = -3,48757 < ttabel = -2,03452. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh jenis kelamin terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Waru.

Abstract

Pada era pendidikan saat ini sebagian besar sekolah telah menerapkan kurikulum K-13. Pada kurikulum ini siswa diharapkan lebih aktif dalam kegiatan proses belajar mengajar. Keberhasilan kegiatan tersebut dapat terlihat dan diukur melalui evaluasi sebagai hasil belajar yang dicapai selama mengikuti proses belajar mengajar. Namun, pada hasil belajar siswa ada fakor-faktor yang mempengaruhi hasil yang diperoleh siswa. Faktor-faktor tersebut ada dua macam yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Didalam faktor internal terdapat salah satu faktor yaitu faktor kesiapan. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah “Apakah ada hubungan kesiapan belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Wringinanom”. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan kesiapan belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada peneitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling di SMP Negeri 1 Wringinanom sehingga diperoleh dua kelas yaitu keas VIII-H dan VIII-I. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan tes. Dan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaituuji korelasi product-moment. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis data,uji korelasi product-momentmenunjukkan hasil korelasi (〖r_xy/r〗_hitung) sebesar 0,625227, pada penelitian ini taraf signifikan yang digunakan adalah0,05 sehingga diperolehr_tabel=0,2480<r_hitung=0,625227 maka dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan kesiapan belajar siswa dengan hasil belajar siswa SMP Negeri 1 Wringinanom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa yang diakibatkan kurangnya keaktifan dan tingkat konsentrasi siswa saat mengikuti kegiatan belajar mengajar. Salah satu upaya guru untuk mengembangkan interaksi aktif yang seharusnya terjadi antara guru dan siswa agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar yaitu degan mengubah model pembelajaran konvensional dengan model pembelajaran yang lebih menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Firing Line terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 24 Surabaya. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian Quasi Experimental Design. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode tes yaitu post-test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 24 Surabaya. Dengan teknik purposive sampling, sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII-E sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII-F sebagai kelas kontrol dengan tiap kelas masing-masing berjumlah 40 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji-t. Berdasarkan analisis data yang dilakukan, diperoleh t_hitung=13,8549 > t_tabel=1,9908 maka H0 ditolak dengan kata lain H1 diterima yang berarti ada pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Firing Line terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 24 Surabaya pada materi bentuk Aljabar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah kontekstual peserta didik kelas X-IPA SMA Islam Hasyim Asyari Batu Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan 2 kali pertemuan setiap siklusnya. Setiap siklus terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Siklus pertama dan kedua membahas materi pokok sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel (SPLTV). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X-IPA SMA Islam Hasyim Asyari Batu Tahun Pelajaran 2018/2019 yang terdiri atas 24 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah kontekstual peserta didik.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was determine the mathematical understanding ability of students taught using Quantum teaching learning models in the class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sambas cartesian coordinate material. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The form of research used is quasi-experimental design with posttest-only control design. The population in this study were all class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sambas. Sampling using cluster random sampling techniques so that selected class VIIIC as experimental class 1 is using quantum teaching learning model assisted by geogebra software and class VIIIA as experimental class 2 is using quantum teaching learning model without assisted by geogebra software. The result showed that student learning outcomes after being given a quantum teaching learning model assisted by geogebra software were better than student learning outcomes after being given a quantum teaching learning model without assisted by geogebra software namely the average posttest value of experimental class 1 75,83 included in the good category while the average experimental class 2 posttest value 69,48 included in the sufficient category. Test the difference in average student learning outcomes after using the quantum teaching model assisted by geogebra software and quantum teaching without assisted geogebra software it ca be concluded that there is a sigificant increase in results between the average scores in the experimental class 1 posttest and te average value in the experimental class posttest 2.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study with a quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 34 students of class X MIA 2 SMA Taruna Pembangunan Intensive School academic year 2019/2020 who were then given a written test in the form of a story, and 3 students who made the most mistakes were taken to be interviewed. Then the data obtained were carried out to have data reduction, data presentation in tabular form to be described, and then conclusions were drawn. Based on the results of data analysis, it was obtained that (1) At the reading stage, students did not experience difficulties, so there was no error at the reading stage; (2) In the stage of understanding, mistakes made by students were 37.15% which included errors when identifying commands on the problem, so it was wrong in determining what was known and what was asked in the problem and making mistakes in changing the context of the problem of the story into its own language that affected the process of problem solving; (3) At the transformation stage, the errors conducted by students were 13.04% including students were unable to translate their mistakes and transform the existing formations in the problem into the form of mathematical sentences, as well as a lack of understanding to use the method to be used; (4) In the process skills stage, the mistakes made by students were 20.94% including students still made mistakes in the calculation process such as when transferring terms into different segments and adding two terms with the same variable. In addition, students also made mistakes in the process of elimination and substitution when performing multiplication, addition, and subtraction operations as well as lack of understanding of what operations would be used; and (5) At the stage of writing the final answer, the mistakes made by students were 28.85% including students did not write the conclusions of the solutions obtained correctly, even some students did not change the solutions obtained in the form of sentences in accordance with the real problems known in the tests.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that has the concept of interrelation between one material with another. Understanding the interrelated material required the existence of a basic ability that is the ability to connect mathematics. The obstacle experienced by students is that when given a problem and the solution is related to the previous material, students are unable to remember the material that is the key to solving the problem. The inability of students is due to lack of memory of previous material and students pay less attention when the teacher is explaining in class. Personality differences make students have different mathematical connection abilities. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of students' mathematical connections in terms of sanguinis, koleris, melancholy, and plegmatic personality types. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study in the form of case study research. Methods of data collection used personality type questionnaires, math connection test questions, and interviews. The results showed that the sanguinis and plegmatic personality types were able to meet all the connection indicators. Koleris personality type is able to fulfill 4 indicators. Melancholy personality types produce different connection capabilities, namely the ability of connections that meet 4 indicators and 1 indicator. This research can provide benefits for students to improve their mathematical connections and understand their personality types. Students who understand their personality types can minimize negative traits that inhibit mathematical connections.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is in order to know the development, appropriateness, attractiveness and effectiveness of product developed in Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung senior high school and MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. The procedure used is resert and development with research method and the 4-D development initiated by Thiagarajan. The data collection instrument conducted by spreading appropriateness questionnaires to the subject expert, media expert, religion expert, and education practitioner, deployment of appropriateness questionnaires to students in small scale trial and big scale trial and giving pre post test in effectiveness trial using N-Gain calculation. Obtained effectiveness result in the amount of 3,6 from subject expert, 3,5 from media expert, and 3,7 from religion expert, then its average is 3,6. It gets “very decent barometer”. The students’ response showed that the module is very interesting with average 3,47 from both schools with “very decent criteria” on small scale trial and 3,3 with “very decent criteria” on big scale trial. The result of effectiveness trial got 0,77 at SMA Al-Kautsar Bandar Lampung and 0,72 at MAN 2 Bandar Lampung. Abstract

The longer the fish population will decrease or experience extinction due to continuous fishing by humans. Conservation areas are needed as an effort to maintain the marine ecosystem and avoid extinction. The dynamics stability of the model can be seen from the equilibrium point. So that the application of mathematics can be used to make prey-predator population dynamics models and determine ways to optimize fish harvesting. The mathematical model is divided into three populations and in two different areas. To get maximum harvesting (E), use the Pontryagin Maximum Principle. So that the maximum benefit obtained when harvesting is 0.77 to 0.95.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the most important sciences in life, this can be seen from mathematics lessons that have even been learned since elementary school and even kindergarten. But learning mathematics is not always easy. Based on observations in the field, there are still many teachers in schools providing a less innovative learning, learning strategies that are still monotonous and learning methods that are less interesting.Based on data from the UN results in 2019 obtained from the Ministry of Education and Culture shows that NTT is one of 12 provinces where the average UN score is below the national average. Because mathematics is one of the UNBK subjects but occupies the lowest place of other subjects, the authors consider mathematics to be the center of attention, especially in the NTT region especially Kefamenanu. Therefore, the writer applies the sudoku game-assisted learning method to improve the understanding of the students of Warta Bakti Kefamenanu. The researcher compared the pre-test and post-test scores which gave the result that the scores were lower than the post-test scores. This confirms that students' understanding after learning by using the Sudoku game gives significant results.
