Abstract

The complexity of the problems faced in the revitalization of Banten Lama cultural sanctuary is the problem of relocation of street vendors incorporated in the Kerosene Traditionist Association of Surosowan Banten Lama, the target of development (revitalization) of infrastructure that has not been achieved and the harmonious cooperation between stakeholders. The purpose of this research is to identify the priority and strategic issues and to develop the innovative model of Collaborative Governance based policy on the Revitalization study of Banten Lama Reserve Tourism Area. The research method used is qualitative descriptive approach with data collection technique through interview and observation and searching various sources and literature both from government documents and news media print and electronic, journal and books related to collaborative governance, policy innovation and revitalization Banten Long. The result of this research is the identification of priority and strategic issues of Revitaliasi Policy of Banten Lama Reserve Tourism Area namely bureaucratic structural dimension, socialization of revitalization and relocation of street vendors incorporated in Paguyuban Keragang Surososwan Banten Lama Traders. Furthermore, the development of innovative governance policy innovation model and revitalization stages include four components, namely the initial conditions consisting of identification of existing conditions, resources, basic considerations and economic political will; the second component is a commitment that includes processes and outcomes, beliefs, common understanding and internal / external legitimacy; the third component is institutional design consisting of structure and procedure, leadership and form of cooperation process; and the fourth component is the final condition that includes follow-up and sustainability.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Philosophy emerged in the Greek region about two thousand five hundred years ago as an effort to seek the truth. This is an important moment for the birth of science. Philosophy is the mother of science. Science is essentially an attempt to help human solve the problem. Science should benefit humans’ life. However, due to the development of science is very rapid paradigm change, not more science to human, but human for the sciences. Science separated from its ethical dimension, so that science became lost it’s substantially. Abstract

Abstract This article discusses white-skinned race colonization and its impacts on African black-skinned race tribal society and culture in African Anglophone novel Things Fall Apart written by Chinua Achebe. The approach used in this research is post-colonial approach by using post-colonial theory to analyze phenomena as well as the implication of the colonizer and the colonized relationship. The result of this research indicates that the coming of white-skinned race colonialists in African Ibo tribe community with their colonization and cultural imperialism is implemented with varied strategies. Those strategies are proven effectively in strengthening white-skinned race’s colonial hegemony in Africa. The white-skinned race colonialists’ imperialism results in horizontal conflict and cultural-social disintegration in African native society; between the pro-colonial and the anti-colonial. Anti-colonial resistence is shown by most African native society to fight against colonial government arrogance and to resist white-skinned race imperialism in Africa. Abstract

Politeness of Java coastal communities have a uniqueness when compared with the politeness of standard Javalanguage. Distinctiveness of its identity can beusedas a coastal community. Characteristic politeness Javanese coastal communities visible in the selection and placement of the lexiconon syntagmatic sequence. Selection of the lexicon is determined more by socio-cultural factors Javanese coastal communities. Placement of the lexicon is determined assuming more speakers than the alternation rules that apply in the standard Java language. The selection and placement of the lexicon in politeness Java coastal communities freed the standard Java language alternation rules.

Abstract

Multiculturalism is a tool, vehicle or the equivalent notion of ideology, function to enhance human dignity. Since multiculturalism is a tool then the sense of culture or ideology embodied in the term multiculturalism should be viewed from the perspective of function for human life. Multiculturalism has always built based on the philosophical outlook of a nation on the meaning of life and life, and relationships with environment as well as the creator. Then every nation in giving practical meaning of multiculturalism will be colored by its philosophical outlook. The multicultural education paradigm led to the creation of attitudes of learners who want to appreciate, respect for ethnic, religious and cultural society. Then, too, multicultural education to give awareness to students that differences in ethnicity, religion and culture as well as the other does not become a barrier for students to unite and cooperate. Thus, Pancasila as an ideology of education is needed, especially considering the posture of Indonesia in the form of an archipelago, and pluralistic world is at a cross position. Abstract

The moment of Sumpah Pemuda (Young Man Oath) took place 84 years ago, reflecting the spirit of nationalism that is still very important in this Reformation era. This paper endeavors to dig deeper meaning of Sumpah Pemuda in its pre-independence era and applying it to our contemporary situation. The method used here is historical research using literature resources, such as articles, books, and other readings in internet. It is then concluded that the spirit of Sumpah Pemuda should be our contemplative materials and valuable Iesson so that Reformation era may succeed in achieving national goals stated in the Constitution, a society that is fair, prosperous, and democratic. Abstract

ABSTRACT The entrepreneurship of the success entrepreneur is always associated with capability, courage, dependability, and creativity. It’s belonged to the entrepreneur of carve industry in Jepara in 1990-2000 be in conformity with entry of exporter and international market. The things can be supported it, among other things: their capability to adapted with what people want and the solution is make an innovation (creativity), their honestly to do what the Islam says that work is a part of worship, and their orientation to gain. Abstract

Ayah Bunda Magazine is a magazine aimed at women and men who already have a child and married but have not obtained offspring. Nevertheless, this paper contains more issues related to women. Therefore, in this magazine allegedly many use the term that represents women. How the representation of women in the Ayah Bunda magazine  which is discussed in this paper is. Method of collecting data which was used in this study was the scrutinizing method followed by technique noted. Discourse analysis used content analysis. Based on the results of the study was found that women's representation in the Ayah Bunda  magazine  shown with a term that refers to the female nature wasteful, less logical, anxious. The appearance should be interesting, limited to the motion, like a complicated thing, and prioritize domestic interests.

Abstract

Discourses that appear in text and conversation are not neutral. It is a form of subjectivity that leads to power struggles. Such as the discourse of “Bomb Pan” as the diversion issues on the Ahok casewhich was heralded by Eko Patrio, which was then responded by the Chief of Police Tito who was in charge of handling the bomb pan case together Densus 88.Police Chief against Eko delivered in ultimatum form that finally made Eko doing a series of strange such as transforming himself from a suspect to a victim of online media libel. Changes in Eko's attitude due to Tito's ultimatum made the researcher interested in analyzing the contents of the Ultimatum. Through Fairclough's critical discourse (textual analysis, discursive practice, and social praxis) it was found that the Chief of Tito's decree using the modalities of service negotiation to generate symbolic power over its performance as a police chief can not be doubted and must be obeyed by anyone including political institutions

Abstract

Epikuros regards pleasure as the highest life purpose of human being and then he defines the real pleasure in a concept named ataraxia, i.e. tranquility or quietness. To experience pleasure, one needs to learn how to use each desire to attain health and the tranquility of soul. Hence human being should be wise in responding or handling his desires in order he may arrive at his true purpose of life. Fraternity and friendship are urgent instruments to achieve pleasure. Epikuros also maintain that pleasure should be understood as the balance between physical and spiritual, between individual and social, man-as-an-independent-self and man-as-the-creature-of-God aspects of man.   Keywords: hedonism, comfort, wisdom, ataraxia, tranquility.
