Abstract

This library research was conducted with a background of enriching discourse and paradigm regarding the pattern of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) in Islamic and Western perspectives. In addition, researchers want to detect and see the pioneer of PAUD theory. Because there are some similarities from the originators of western theory with the Islamic PAUD theory. Although there are different things between the two perspectives. One of them, the western perspective reveals the beginning of the right AUD education since the womb, but vice versa with AUD education in the Islamic perspective, that is, starting from choosing a partner. So that the idea of this research arises by using a literature analysis. Thus, this research is expected to provide a new positive discourse and have a purpose to provide an actual understanding of what is happening around us.

Abstract

Primary students, especially the basic class, have many difficulties learning Arabic because they are not used in daily communication, and there are differences in Arabic alphabets. There needs to be learning alternatives that are appropriate for the child's age and bring Arabic closer. Arabic is a close foreign language for students of Muslim faith; because they used to recite daily Arabic prayers. So that Arabic can be said to be far written in Indonesian but close verbally in the everyday religious life of students.This study describes vocabulary learning by singing in the process of learning Arabic for children. The research subjects of class 1 MIN 1 Malang city in the academic year 2018/2019, using a type of qualitative research with the method of collecting observation and interview data. The results of this study indicate that singing in vocabulary / mufrodat teaching can increase students' motivation and learning attractiveness towards Arabic so that students can be happy to add new Mufrodat next to be helped to write because they feel close to the word taught by singing. Arabic is close verbally but far in reading and writing for children can be overcome by using songs and songs as an alternative to teaching Arabic for children.

Abstract

Advantage the article has the purpose of describing how to instill reading like the charater of an avid reader and habituation which have impact on children's language skills.  Based on the literature reviews show that the elementary school children's reading interest is very low. It is influenced by the lack of awareness in reading importance of reading and external support such as the direction and guidance of parents and teachers, the availability of reading material, and the attractiveness of available books. For this reason, there is something that it takes for habituation and exemplary efforts that are made both from the awareness of oneself, family, teachers and the surrounding environment so that children are accustomed to reading books and make children to enjoy reading books which in turn can increase language skills in children. Habitual and exemplary methods are effective ways to instill the character of reading fondness. The more someone likes to read, the more knowledge is gained. To inculcate the reading fondness character values, it takes habituation and example to realize the culture of fond reading. The fond reading character is a form of language skills development. The more skilled a person in language, the more brilliant, and clearer the way he/she thinks because their processes reading there is a process of critical thinking.

Abstract

This research is a continuation of the research on the Development of Textbooks for Social Studies Courses with the 2013 Curriculum Based Concept Approach. Development with Expanding Community Approach is used to create a hierarchical material that starts from a simple concept to a broader concept while paying attention to the distribution of Social Studies material at the level of Elementary School based on the 2013 Curriculum. Research & development of textbooks for social studies education MI / SD with Expanding Community Approach aims to develop social studies textbooks in the Elementary School Teacher Education department that can be used as learning resources for students in Social Studies courses. This development research uses the Thiarajagan 4-D model with the steps of Define, Design, Develop, and restrictions on Desseminate. Research on the development of Social Studies course textbooks for Elementary School Teacher Education with Expanding Community Approach received a very decent category with a score of 81% from material experts, a decent category with a score of 80% from linguists, and a very decent category with a score of 87% from design experts. The data can provide the conclusion that the textbooks of Social Studies courses using the expanding community approach are categorized as feasible.

Abstract

Education is experiencing challenges in the 21st century, all kinds of aspects of human needs are progressing very rapidly, both in science, technology, information, even social patterns of humanity / society. Teachers as professionals aim to implement the national education system and realize national education goals, namely the development of the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, noble, healthy, knowledgeable, competent, creative, independent, and become citizens democratic and responsible country. Teachers must have competence in carrying out their duties as an educator and as part of the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the views of Mahmud Yunus about the competence of teachers in the book at-Tarbiyah wa at-Ta'lim, and the relationship between the views of Mahmud Yunus in the book at-Tarbiyah wa at-Ta'lim with teacher competence according to Law no. 14 of 2005. This type of research is library research, using a philosophical-historical approach. The philosophical approach is used to discuss the concept of Mahmud Yunus's thought, while historically it aims to study and explain the biography, work and life side of the teacher's competence according to Law No. 14 of 2005 there were four, covering pedagogical competencies, personality competencies, social competencies, and professional competencies. Teacher competence according to Mahmud Yunus can be seen in four aspects, including: pedagogical aspects, personality aspects, professional aspects, social aspects. When linked and adjusted to the current conditions and needs of teacher competence, it turns out to be very appropriate and interrelated, because the thought offered there is a bond of mutual support with current theories of teacher competence, and is very suitable to be a reference in the development of learning processes even relevant to education Islam

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of validity, practicality and effectiveness of the development of Swishmax-based Natural Sciences learning media in IVG MIN 2 Palembang. This research method uses Research and Development (R & D) methods. The research and development model used is the tressmer model with the stages of research: the preliminary stage (preparation and design), the formative evalution stage (self evaluation, expert review, one to one, small group, and field test). Data collection techniques using questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques use percentages. The results of this study include: (1) Development of Swishmax-based Natural Sciences learning media in Palembang IVG MIN 2 Class can be categorized as valid. This is indicated by the acquisition of media expert validation scores of 84.5, language experts 82, and material experts 90; (2) The practicality level of the application of the development of Swishmax-based Natural Sciences learning media in Palembang IVG MIN 2 Class is very practical. This can be seen from the acquisition of the average questionnaire score of 100 in the field test stage; (3) The effectiveness of the development of Swishmax-based Natural Sciences learning media in Palembang IVG MIN 2 Class is very effective. It is known that the level of mastery learning in classical students reaches 95% in the field test stage.
