Abstract

Language is a communication tool that can be done according to purpose, variety, and media. The goals expected in communicating can be for entertaining, joking and creativity. Creativity can be in the form of works of art, such as rhymes. Pantun in Javanese is called parikan. The constituent elements are bound by the rules of the pantuna form. Ordinary rhyme or four-row rhyme or flash rhyme consisting of two lines. But both must rhyme abab (cross rhyme); each row between four to twelve syllables; the first line is sampiran, the second line is the content (quick rhyme. If the regular rhyme of the first and second rows is sampiran; the fourth row is in the form of contents. The variety used in pantun is a variety of literature. The media can be oral, written, written). can be in print, and in electronic media through the internet. The contents of the pantun can be serious or not, for example the contents are only for humor. Based on the rhyme content data with multiple information / taxa / ambiguity. The tendency of the pantun content ambiguity in the data tends to be interpreted negative / connotative pornography .

Abstract

Carita Javanese (BJC) is one among other Javanese dialects. It stands as a dialect as well as Javanese   enclave. The area of the speech community of BJC stretches in the most west of the Javanese speech community  area and the middle of Sundanese speech community. In spite of the marginal site of the BJC speech community, it still preserves relic forms of old Javanese by still maintaining the forms and their meaning.            The search for the relic forms of the BJC can be done through reconstruction method by making us of Proto Melayo-Javanese reconstruction, and referential comparative method carried on by resemblance comparative relation technique, and difference comparative relation technique against the main problems. The main refernce in use is the old Javanese dictionary and manuscripts. The analysis results in description about relics which are still preserved in BJC also completed with their heritage path.

Abstract

This research is aimed at describing the meaning of the word “anuq” which is commonly spoken by Sasak people in SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara using semantics theory. The source of data were the conversations among teachers and administrators of SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara. The data were collected by applying listening, speaking, and introspection method. The result of the research showed that the word “anuq”has many meanings based on the context or topics of the communication. Sasak people in SMP Negeri 2 Batukliang Utara basically used “anuq” when the speaker forgot or lost the word to be spoken.

Abstract

Tradition ceremony Meron one of the rituals held every month Maulud.This tradition is done by the people of Sukolilo village Pati which aims to commemorate the birthday one of Prophet. Data collection methods used were interviews and documentation analyzed using etnolinguistic theory. Based on the analysis of local wisdom of the Meron tradition of Sukolilo society in Pati Regency, it can be concluded that the form of local traditions of Meron wisdom culture develops in the form of the traditional phrase which is realized in traditional ceremonial ritual and traditional feast, preserving traditional technology in this case through gunungan offerings architecture. While the function of the cultural tradition is 1) usage or how to perform a ceremony or ritual, 2) folkways or habits in living the tradition of ancestors that are still preserved, 3) norms or norms related to the custom known and obeyed by the community.

Abstract

Abstract In providing an aesthetic element, the lyricist will express it through poetic diction. In the hands of creative lyric writers, a figurative language will emerge. Metaphorical lyrics understanding does not have to have the same meaning that is written. Poetic language / poetic lyrics, the words can mean the meaning depends on the listener's understanding. Even so in the song nDangdut. In general, the song Dangdut tends to have a theme of love compared to other themes. This article discusses metaphorical diction as an aesthetic means. Abstract

Karya sastra dapat dilihat dari segi sosiologi dengan mempertimbangkan segi-segi kemasyarakatan. Pendekatan sosiologi sastra adalah salah satu pendekatan sastra yang mengkhususkan diri dalam menelaah karya sastra dengan mempertimbangkan segi-segi sosial kemasyarakatan. Novel Pohon Tanpa Akar karya Syed Waliullah menarik untuk diteliti sebab menceritakan bagaimana ungkapan pengarang terhadap masalah-masalah yang ada di dalam masyarakat. Masalah ambiguitas sosial terungkap dengan sangat jelasnya dalam novel ini. Dan ini sekaligus juga merupakan representasi kritik sosial pengarang terhadap masyarakat dan agama. Abstract

The use of mixed code in learning can create a communicative atmosphere and students easily understand the subject matter delivered. This study aims to prove the influence of mixed code usage in learning on the Indonesian language writing skills of class VIII students at Pademawu 1 Public High School year 2017/2019. Data collection techniques in this study used tests. Data analysis in this study uses a statistical analysis method in the form of a test. The result of tcount = 2.213 which is then consulted with ttable. With dk = (32 + 31-2) = 61 obtained ttable at significant level 5 & is 1.671. From this value it appears that t count> t table is 2,213> 1,671. This means that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. The results of this study can be concluded "there is an influence of the use of mixed code in learning on the ability to write Indonesian language class VIII students at Pademawu 1 Public High School year 2017/2018".

Abstract

The simplicity of the expression and meaning of literary works of Mustofa Bisri is seen in the simplicity of the use of its poetic and aesthetic. The simplicity of the poetic and aesthetic means includes the elements of the structure of literary works and the manner in which they are expressed. The elements of the structure of literary works include typography, sounds, diction, images, and meaning. The simplicity of typography is seen in the freedom of the traditional ties and conventions of the theoretical structure of the poetical visualization. The simplicity of the sound is seen in the beauty, fusion, harmony, wholeness, and simplicity of its orchestration so it is more beautiful if Gus Mus's literary works are spoken. The simplicity of diction is seen in its attachment by clichés, classics, and bombastic, but in the election of words that are normally used to conversing and joking in everyday communication. The simplicity of his imagination is seen in the picture of wishful passage in and around the dwelling; next door neighbors, food stalls, markets, and everyday events: working, watching television, worshiping. The simplicity of meaning is seen in the reasonableness and calm it produces, namely the ability to dampen turmoil, not only the turmoil of body and soul, but also social unrest.

Abstract

The aim of this article is to describe the variation of the word “Bagaimana” in Javanese which is spoken by the society in the border area of Malang and Blitar Regency. The theories contained in this article are sociolinguistic, dialectology, and dialect. The method used is descriptive qualitative and with unstructured interviews with eighteen informants. The result is the variation word “Bagaimana” in Javanese in the border area has three variations, namely “piye”, “yo’opo” and “yo’piye”. The word “yo’piye” is a unique vocabulary for the term “Bagaimana” in Javanese in this area, because the word “Yo’piye” comes from the word “yo’opo” which is spoken by the people in Malang Regency and the word “piye” spoken by the people in Blitar.

Abstract

Folklore is a story of the past that characterizes every nation with its diverse cultures, including the rich culture and history of each nation. The folklore that tells incest is found all over the world. In almost all ethnic groups there is an incest first mythology. Versions are submitted vary, depending on the social life of the community. Bujang Munang and Oedipus are cultural myth stories that have the theme of the origin of the incest ban. Oedipus is a myth that developed in Greece while Bujang Munang is a myth that developed in Nanga Serawai Santang district of West Kalimantan. There is a linkage of the basic structure of the narrative in the story of Oedipus and Bujang Munang. Incest behavior is also not allowed to occur in the norms of life of Greek society and the people of West Kalimantan. There will be unfavorable consequences for incest and surrounding people if the rule is violated.
