esyen Perspektif merupakan Jurnal yang dikelola oleh program studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, sebagai tempat yang mewadahi berbagai hasil karya ilmiah mahasiswa dan pengajar di lingkungan Prodi Pendidikan Tata Busana Departemen PKK FPTK UPI. Terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan April dan Oktober, berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, aplikasi teori dan kajian analitis kritis di bidang fesyen (mode busana, pembuatan busana, desain busana, tekstil, kriya tekstil, dan tata rias). Fesyen Persfektif menampilkan hasil kajian yang membuktikan bahwa fashion sebagai kebutuhan utama manusia mengalami perkembangan dan perubahan. Kecenderungan perubahannya meliputi berbagai aspek yang melingkupi kehidupan manusia. Pelaku fashion khususnya para akademisi bidang fashion memberikan perhatianya dengan mengkaji kreatifitas, aspek fungsional dan aspek estetik dari fashion.

Abstract

Fashion pose drawing technique learning are based on the field studies results in basic design mode in Education University of Indonesia specialy  Program Study Fashion Design of Education subjects and still conventional with the use of power point and a white board as the media. For those students requires interactive learning (two-way or more communication from the components of communication, where students as the user can control the multimedia itself). The use of fashion pose drawing technique learning as the multimedia can help learners to learn optimally both in their own learning as well as in the classroom, and can help educators to make learning more innovative. Fashion pose drawing technique begins with the theory of fashion pose drawing, and then fashion pose drawing technique. The production of this multimedia aims to develop one existing learning media into the new media in the form of interactive multimedia that are adjusted to the needs of learners. The stages of this interactive multimedia production are with creating multimedia design, multimedia development, verification and validation, and analysis of verification results. The appropriate method for this study is the approach of RD (Research and Development) method. The results of the validation by matter experts get 74.99% eligibility average percentage value,  by multimedia experts get 87.59% eligibility average percentage value and by the user get 96.87% eligibility average percentage value, so it can be elaborated that the eligibility standards in interactive multimedia of fashion pose drawing technique learning are included in the very good category.

Abstract

Problems in this research study on the use of learning outcomes makes fashion pattern draping system in preparing students to become a pattern maker in the boutique. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Baleendah in class XII students. The aim of this study was to obtain data on learning outcomes make a party dress pattern draping system, in terms of competence knowledge draping , pattern making tools and materials, image understanding, image analysis models, installation Bodyline, and pattern making a party dress draping system. The method used is descriptive method. The samples used in this study is the sample totaled 32 people. Data collection techniques such as questionnaires. The findings showed that the benefits of learning outcomes make a party dress pattern draping system in terms of competence knowledge draping , pattern making tools and materials, image understanding, image analysis models, installation Bodyline, and pattern making party dress draping systems, most of the students already understand the material provision of learning that can be used as a pattern maker in readiness into the boutique

Abstract

Evaluate the quality of the wall  magazine conducted for measure the capabilities and  assess the quality of the resulting  product  to increase an interesting visualization. This research aims to obtain  data on the quality evaluation result based assement  wall  magazine of  theme, rubric, article content, can  apply  the element and  principal of  layout, and  the ability to operate the software . In this research benefit to be expected to improve the  quality of  assessment in order to improve the quality and standar wall magazine  for a better future. The method used  is descriptive analytic with a total sample by collecting the data through article archive documentation based on the assignment of  creating wall  magazine which consisted of 30 documentation articles as the samples which are related to the Fashion Publication assignment for the students of Design Management,  Fashion Education Major of UPI batch 2010 and 2011. According to the result of the study, it can be concluded  that largely of the students can create an interesting layout for wall magazine based on the quality assessment that interprets the theme  and  rubric. Reviewed , based on the quality assessment of managing the text element, the study result showed that more than half of the students involved in this study can apply the  Headline, subhead, initial caps, bodytext, byline dan wordart, on the layout .Reviewed , based on the quality assessment of managing the visual element, the study showed that more than half of the students involved in this study can apply the Artworks,ornament, background, dan line, Then based on the quality assessment of managing the invisible element, the study showed  that a  half of  the students involved in this study can apply the margin, grid, dan column.Then based on the quality assessment of layout arrangment principal, the study showed that largely of the majority of the respondents have the capability of presenting the quality of sequence, emphasis, balance and unity application, Then the last one was based on the quality assessment to operate software, the study showed that largely of the respondents have the capability of operate software, over all these data are excellent qualifications.

Abstract

This research examined the application of longtorso learning result in making wedding gown pattern, which is done in LPK Quenta Busana in force learners 2012/2013 and 2013/2014 linseri advanced level. This research aimed to gain an overview or learning result data  longtorso learning result in terms of characteristics, ideology images, model analysis, how to measure, and burst pattern on wedding gown pattern making. The method used is descriptive method. The sample used is total sample amount to 32 person. The data collecting instruments of this present research were questionnaires . The conclusion of this research indicated that  the application of the learning result in terms of the characteristics longtorso, ideology images, model analysis, how to measure, and burst pattern on pattern making wedding gown, more than half of the learners have the ability to apply the results of the study and only a small percentage that have not applied it. Suggestion that submitted  is the learners in order to develop and enhance the skills and ability to understand how to practice drawing, analyze, measure, and make a pattern on wedding gown pattern making.

Abstract

Manipulating Fabric training Internship Program conducted at the Quenta Training Course with a purpose to preparing student when returning to the society so it can creating an accessories business. This research aims to obtain data on the advantages of Manipulating Fabric training results as readiness to open an accessories business in terms of mastering the basic concepts of manipulating fabric, manipulating fabric product design, material selection of textiles knowledge, tools, and garnitur manipulating fabric manufacture, and manipulatin fabric manufacture with basic techniques of gathering and pleat after Manipulating Fabric training. The research method used descriptive method with data collection tools in the form of a questionnaire. The samples used a total sample directed to 22 people of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bandung, Tata Busana skill class XII of 2011 and 2012 which follows the Internship Program. The results showed generally more than half of student have benefited from Manipulating Fabric training results as readiness to open an accessories business. The findings from this study that the results need to be applied in Manipulating Fabric training to open an accessories business. The conclusion from this study that the results of Manipulating Fabric training is have a great benefit to the students so they are ready to open an accessories business.

Abstract

Indonesian's garment industry continues to develop, to increase its development, a garment industry needs talented and skillful people, especially for controlling the quality of product, so that the quality control cutting has very important role. The purpose of this study was to obtain the data about learning outcomes of Cutting Analysis and Using Material as the preparation to be a quality control cutting in garment. The method used was a survey method, and the data collection technique was a questionnaire. The respondents in this study were 44 students of Garment Technology and Business class of 2011. The results showed that the respondents have felt the advantages of learning outcomes of Cutting Analysis and Using Material in terms of their competency in applying the concept of Cutting Analysis and Using Material, applying the concept of the review process of cutting, applying the cutting techniques and numbering, and binding, as the preparation for quality control cutting in garment. The conclusion is that more than half of respondents have felt the advantages of the material Cutting Analysis and Using Material class as the preparation to be a quality control cutting in garment presented by lecturer.

Abstract

Party dress is dress that uses for  attending party events. In the making process of party dress is needed special skill, carefulness, seriousness to make a high quality of party dress. Party dress can be learned in one of skill programs, that is fashion skill program. This research examined the contribution of the learning outcomes of the readiness in party dress-making competency test. The method that wasused was descriptive eanalytic method. The research population was the third grade dress-makingskills program students of SMK Negeri 3 Cimahi with simple random sampling amounted to 41 students. Data collection tools were in the form of tests and questionnaires. The result showed the learning outcomes of party dress, party dress-making technique, and embroidery decoration on a party dress in general were at sufficient criteria and provide a significant positive contribution to readiness of the party dress-making competency test. The conclusion of this research is in learning party dress provides a substantial contribution to support the implementation of the readiness in party dress-making a competency test. Suggestion in this research is recommended to students that they should further improve their knowledge, attitudes and skills in making a party dress that can be used as a stepping-stone to test the implementation of party dress-making competency test.

Abstract

This research examined the contribution of testing and textile evaluation learning result toward the readiness of being a  fabric quality controller. This research aimed to disclose how much contribution of testing and textile evaluation learning result toward the readiness of being a fabric quality controller by employing analytical descriptive method. The subjects of this research were 60 students of Textile Technique Department who were chosen randomly in STTT. The data collecting instruments of this present research were the tests and questionnaires. This research disclosed that testing and textile evaluation learning result based on competence to test and evaluate fabric construction, fabric strength, fabric grade, physical characteristics of  fabric, and chemical characteristics of fabric were mostly on the high criterion and gave positive contribution significantly toward the readiness of being a fabric quality controller. This research was recommended for students who had not achieved high criterion learning result yet to study harder. This research is also expected to the lecturers of the subject to motivate students to increase their knowledge, manner, and skills in testing and evaluating the textile fabric to gain the optimal learning result.

Abstract

Tailoring a training program sewing skills given to the former drug abusers aged 14 s.d 26 years as a provision back in the community and competence within the scope of expertise sewing (dressmaking). This study aimed to obtain data on the contribution of learning outcomes Tailoring Training to work in the garment readiness. The method used is descriptive analytic data collection tool using tests and questionnaires. The population in this study are alumni of the Social Rehabilitation Center Pamardi Putera (BRSPP) force in 2013 with the total sample, totaling 26 people. The results showed that the learning outcomes Tailoring Training in general are at sufficient criteria, based on the knowledge that in terms of materials knowledge, knowledge of sewing machines, techniques to correct the interference on the machine, sewing skills and safety. Conclusions from the study showed that the contribution of learning outcomes Tailoring Training to work in the garment readiness on citizens to learn generally in sufficient criteria.

Abstract

The progress of time resulted that an industrial players of fashion business is increasing, fashion buyer became one of the professions that take an important role in the field of fashion business. The purpose of this study was to obtain data on the advantages of fashion business management learning outcomes as a readiness to become a fashion buyer in chain stores, in terms of competence business management concept, fashion business opportunities, fashion business production management, marketing management and human resource management. The used research method is descriptive method. The technique of collecting data using questionnaires. The population in this study which are students of Prodi Pendidikan Tata Busana class of 2009 which is numbered 48 people. The research sample using random sampling by means of raffle population in determining that sample, so that the total sample was 30 people. The results showed most of students feel the benefits of learning outcomes in the fashion business management into a fashion buyer readiness in chain stores in terms of fashion business opportunities, fashion business production management, marketing management and human resource management. The results of this study can be used as information to develop and improve insight into the fashion business management so that students are motivated and ready to enter the workforce in particular became a fashion buyer who works in chain stores.
