esyen Perspektif merupakan Jurnal yang dikelola oleh program studi Pendidikan Tata Busana, sebagai tempat yang mewadahi berbagai hasil karya ilmiah mahasiswa dan pengajar di lingkungan Prodi Pendidikan Tata Busana Departemen PKK FPTK UPI. Terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan April dan Oktober, berisi tulisan yang diangkat dari hasil penelitian, gagasan konseptual, aplikasi teori dan kajian analitis kritis di bidang fesyen (mode busana, pembuatan busana, desain busana, tekstil, kriya tekstil, dan tata rias). Fesyen Persfektif menampilkan hasil kajian yang membuktikan bahwa fashion sebagai kebutuhan utama manusia mengalami perkembangan dan perubahan. Kecenderungan perubahannya meliputi berbagai aspek yang melingkupi kehidupan manusia. Pelaku fashion khususnya para akademisi bidang fashion memberikan perhatianya dengan mengkaji kreatifitas, aspek fungsional dan aspek estetik dari fashion.

Abstract

The techniques of shibori is a technique that comes from Japan and is commonly called batik Japan is different ways of decorating fabrics by means of dipping tie dye as in in the language of the West or jumputan in Indonesia. The difference is in the manufacture of textile materials with ornaments how to make patterns on the fabric and close certain parts before dyed. And different on the end result of the motive that is formed. Motif formed with techniques of shibori not only produce elements of the color but the motives are not unexpected. The technique of embroidery "bourci" (sequin) is an embroidery technique solution using hand and decorated with various types of sequin and beads so that objects appear more attractive. In this final project report, the concept was made, namely ocean depth in the form of gradation on into sea realized by techniques of shibori and motives of Octopus realized by techniques of bourci. The expected results of this exploration could engender the motivation to readers and creating aesthetic works of various motifs created

Abstract

Songket adalah jenis kain tenunan tradisional Melayu dan Minangkabau di Indonesia, Malaysia, dan Brunei. Songket memiliki motif-motif tradisional yang berbeda antara satu daerah dengan daerah lainnya, misalnya di daerah Minangkabau sendiri, motif atau ragam hias songket Minangkabau masing-masing memiliki nama dan makna tentang perjalanan kebudayaan dan masyarakat Minangkabau. Penggunaan kain songket Minangkabau dengan motif Saik Ajik Babungo, selain dipakai untuk pakaian adat, karena kemewahan dan sifat kainnya juga dapat dieksplorasi sebagai alternatif material utama untuk kostum panggung. Kostum panggung adalah busana yang digunakan pada saat pentas di panggung sebagai penutup tubuh dan penarik simpati penonton atau bias berfungsi sebagai media promosi busananya. Kostum panggung yang dikenakan harus sesuai dengan tema dan karakter dalam pertunjukan tersebut, sehingga kostum panggung menjadi pusat perhatian (center of interest) dalam suatu pementasan, terkhususnya kostum panggung untuk seorang penyanyi pop dengan mengadaptasi bagian bentuk dan warna busana peri.Tujuan dari penulisan tugas akhir ini adalah menciptakan sebuah karya kostum panggung dengan mengadaptasi bagian bentuk dan warna busana peri  menggunakan Songket Minangkabau dengan motif Saik Ajik Babungo sebagai material utama, yang merupakan salah satu upaya untuk menjaga,  melestarikan serta mempromosikan kain ini pada masyarakat luas, sehingga dunia mode dapat berkembang dengan kekayaan ide yang beragam.

Abstract

Fan adalah bahasa Inggris dari kata kipas. Kipas tangan adalah benda yang biasa digunakan untuk mendinginkan udara ketika seseorang merasakan udara yang panas. Kipas berbentuk setengah lingkaran (ketika dibuka) dan terdapat lipit-lipit (pleats) pada kipas tersebut. Pada permukaan kipas terdapat lukisan atau gambar seperti bentuk binatang, pemandangan dan bunga. Gambar bunga sakura sering digunakan sebagai hiasan pada kipas. Warna bunga sakura dengan nuansa pink memberikan kesan feminine dan cocok digunakan untuk  award gown. Award gown merupakan busana yang digunakan pada acara penghargaan, oleh karena itu award gown mempunyai keistimewaan tersendiri. Kipas yang dibentuk dari kain organza yang diterapkan menjadi hiasan dekoratif pada award gown akan memberikan keistimewaan dan keunikan. Jenis kipas yang digunakan pada award gown ini yaitu folding fan. Selain kipas, dekoratif busana yang digunakan yaitu payet dan manik-manik berwarna silver menambah kemewahan pada award gown. Kipas yang dijadikan sebagai hiasan dekoratif pada award gown, diharapkan dapat menjadi inspirasi untuk menerapkan benda fungsional menjadi dekoratif pada suatu busana.

Abstract

This research investigates the benefits of learning lingerie as the readiness to open the business of lingerie. The purpose of this research is to get the data about the benefits of learning lingerie as the readiness to begin the business of lingerie which reviewed from the knowledge competence about the function of panty and bouste houder, the development of panty and bouste houder, the model of panty and bouste houder, the anatomy of panty and bouste houder, the material selections of panty and bouste houder, the techniques of measuring the body to make panty and bouste houder, the patterns of underwear and bouste houder, and the sewing techniques of underwear and bouste houder. The method used is descriptive quantitative method with the instruments of data collection in the form of questionnaire. The research sample used in this research is a saturation sampling where 33 students of fashion design of Indonesia University of Education batch 2011 involved. The result showed that more than half of the students stated the learning outcomes of lingerie in terms of knowledge competence of the functions of panty and bouste houder, briefs development and bouste houder,  the models of panty and bouste houder, the anatomy of panty and bouste houder, the materials selection of panty and bouste houder, the body measuring techniques to produce panty and bouste houder, the patterns of panty and bouste houder, and the sewing techniques of underwear and bouste houder. The conclusion of this research is more than half of the students feel the benefits of linseri business as the readiness to begin a business

Abstract

Problems in this research study on the use of learning outcomes makes fashion pattern draping system in preparing students to become a pattern maker in the boutique. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Baleendah in class XII students. The aim of this study was to obtain data on learning outcomes make a party dress pattern draping system, in terms of competence knowledge draping , pattern making tools and materials, image understanding, image analysis models, installation Bodyline, and pattern making a party dress draping system. The method used is descriptive method. The samples used in this study is the sample totaled 32 people. Data collection techniques such as questionnaires. The findings showed that the benefits of learning outcomes make a party dress pattern draping system in terms of competence knowledge draping , pattern making tools and materials, image understanding, image analysis models, installation Bodyline, and pattern making party dress draping systems, most of the students already understand the material provision of learning that can be used as a pattern maker in readiness into the boutique

Abstract

Fashion would not only serves as a body covering , but fashion can also be a medium of entertainment and media promotion. Carnival fashion is one of fashion show demonstrating costumes creation that unique and interesting. To design costumes unique creation and aesthetic is it takes costume designers. Costume desaigner is a designer who designed fashion special used in special occasions as parade fashion, carnival fashion and costume party. Knowledge and skills to be costume designer can be learned in learning design costumes creation in lecture design projects vogue in course of study of fashion PKK FPTK UPI. The purpose of this research is to obtain data benefits of study result of the costume design creation as readiness become costume designers. Methods used in this research is a method of descriptive with an instrument shaped gatherer poll data. he population in this research is a student of education fashion choice management package design fashion 2012-2013. The results of the study showed that of learning design costumes creation the majority of respondents know of the benefits of study results design costumes creation as readiness be costume designer. The results of research is expected can be used as the information and additional knowledge of knowledge within the fashion management section especially in developing knowledge and skill in designing costumes creation , making costumes creation in accordance with the characteristics of a costume which is raised and can dig the potential that exists on a student.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh data mengenai manfaat hasil belajar Desain Mode Busana sebagai kesiapan Praktek Industri ditinjau dari kompetensi peran dan fungsi desainer pada usaha bidang busana, teknik menggambar desain mode busana, aspek-aspek desain mode busana dan jenis-jenis gambar desain mode busana. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif, Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel total. Populasi  penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Tata Busana angkatan 2010 yang  berjumlah 41 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: lebih dari setengahnya responden mengetahui manfaat hasil belajar Desain Mode Busana sebagai kesiapan Praktek Industri, ditinjau dari kompetensi peran dan fungsi desainer pada usaha bidang busana, teknik menggambar desain mode busana, aspek-aspek desain mode busana dan jenis-jenis gambar desain mode busana. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini  menunjukan bahwa lebih dari setengahnya mahasiswa telah merasakan manfaat hasil belajar Desain Mode Busana sebagai kesiapan Praktek Industri.

Abstract

Fashion Photography is a student assignment on the subject of mode publication, photographed models with all fashion instrument to inform or publish things about fashion. The research purposes is to obtain data on the quality of fashion photography assignment in term of several aspects such as camera function, composition, lighting, camera lens focus, poses, expressions, photo effects and integrates the principles of art photography. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic with purposive sample from student of design management who attended and completed the task of making fashion photography course on mode publication subject, which amounts to 30 archive fashion photography assignment. The result showed that more than half of student are able to set shutter speed, shooting distance, and poses in favor of fashion display characteristic’s, and adjust the expressions with the clothing displayed with very high quality. Half of the students have been able to set the focus to produce clear image details with very high quality. Less than half students are able to exploit of the light source with a very high quality, integrating principle of unity with high quality and setting photo effects with low quality.

Abstract

The existence of various competitions such as the pet show, fancy cat, dog fancy, dog shows in Indonesia has developed a pet shop industry which was originally only sold for animal nutrition purposes, now also provides clothing and accessories for pets. The phenomenon is interesting to study to get an overview of the development of pet fashion both in Indonesia and in the world. Pet fashion industry is currently booming due to get a lot of consumers who want to express themselves through their favorite animal, so that it becomes a lifestyle. Pet fashion is a lifestyle property of humans because animals can not choose the style and taste for fashion to be expressed. Pet fashion developments accompanied with pro and contradiction, but still flowing in line with the development of modern lifestyles that increasingly individualized society.

Abstract

Perkembangan jenis hiasan pada busana merupakan latar belakang karya ilmiah ini.  Salah satunya teknik aplikasi wycinanki. Adapun tujuan penulis untuk;  (1) memperkenalkan wycinanki sebagai seni melipat dan memotong kertas dari Polandia, (2) menerapkan seni wycinanki motif  lowicz  pada busana pesta mode bustle, dan (3) meningkatkan kreativitas pembuatan produk busana untuk kesempatan prom nightparty. Manfaat pembuatan karya ilmiah ini, adalah: (1) menambah wawasan tentang seni wycinanki, (2) mengidentifikasi wycinanki motif lowicz , (3) meningkatkan kreativitas pembuatan produk busana.  Keunikan wycinanki motif lowicz  dan kesan yang ditonjolkan pada busana pesta mode bustle menjadi sumber ide penulis, sehingga menginspirasi untuk membuat gaun yang akan menjadi center of interes, dengan harapan menjadi inovasi dalam perkembangan hiasan  busana pesta masa depan.   Keindahan wycinanki motif lowicz  pada busana pesta mode bustle merupakan hasil produk yang ditampilkan. Warna kontras pada wycinanki menciptakan kesan glamour, namun tetap terlihat feminim dan elegan. karena dipadukan pada busana pesta mode bustle yang berwarna hitam. Busana tampak lebih unik dan menarik.
