Al-Irsyad: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Konseling
Al-Irsyad: The Counseling and Education Journal is scientific journal in education and counseling guidance that managed by The Bimbingan Konseling Islam Majors of Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan Faculty of UIN Sumatera Utara Medan. Al-Irsyad presents topics about development of counseling guidance profession as a teacher based on the four competence of a teacher. They are pedagogic, personal, social, and professional. Besides that, Al-Irsyad is also emphasize to the integration of islamic values. Al-Irsyad is published two times in a year. There are January-June edition and July-December edition. The first edition of Al-Irsyad was Vol.1, No.1, January-June Edition on 2012, but was not yet have p-ISSN and e-ISSN. Then, in Vol.5, No. 1, January-June Edition on 2015 was published in print with p-ISSN: 2088-8341. Further, Vol. 10, No.1, January-June 2020 Edition on 2020 edition publish OJS with e-ISSN: 2686-2859.

<![CDATA[Islami said the labeling on a counselling course should refer to the teachings of Islam which is rahmatan lil 'alamin and is closely associated with the Qur'an and Hadith as a source of primary law retrieval. Therefore, the integration of the values of the Qur'an and Hadith is an inevitability of both in the ontology, epistemology, andaxiology. Thus Islamic Counselling referred to in this description is different to conventional counseling that come from the West. Counseling West talk about Self concept and Confidance. More than just self concept and self confidence, Islamic counseling talking how the concept of Qur'an and Hadith affirming Tawhid a servant in the position and the correct proportions. <![CDATA[Social studies education and social sciences always get the spotlight as students who are difficult to be considered by students, because they are confronted with various concepts, theories and facts that must be memorized. Therefore, for social studies teaching, teachers are needed who can teach it well, meaning that they master the material provided, are able to select the right parts to be used as material for conversation, skilled in managing the developing information. <![CDATA[This research is motivated by the many problems students have in terms of self-concept. This study aims to describe students' self-concepts. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. population The study population was 464th grade students of XI and XII Senior High Schools in Padang. A sample of 215 people, selected by proportional stratified random sampling technique. The instrument used is a scale. The results of the validity and reliability test of the self-concept instrument stated that the research instrument was valid and reliable. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The findings of this study indicate that on average the students' self-concept is in the positive category. The implications of the results of the study can be used as input to create a guidance and counseling service program.Keywords: Self-Concept, Guidance and Counseling Implications]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is: to know the influence of guidance group of roleplaying technique to the students' self confidence broken home on the students of class X SMK Pabaku District Stabat year lesson 2017/2018.This research was conducted at SMK Pabaku Kecamatan Stabat. The population in this study is the overall class X students who amounted to 31 students. While the sample in this study is broken home students who numbered 4 students. Based on the results of hypothesis testing is known that the calculation results can be rhitung at 0.95 while at rtabel at the level of 5% of 0.82. so concluded that the value of rhitung> rtabel so Ho in rejected, and Ha accepted that There is Influence Group Guidance Role Playing Techniques Against Self Confidence Students Broken Home In Students Class X SMK Pabaku Kec. Stabat Year 2017 / 2018. From the calculation of t test to determine the significance of the influence between guidance group of role playing techniques with student self-confidence, has obtained the value with the crude figures of t test formula obtained counted 6.3. Once it is known that the value of t count of 6.3. Can also be seen on the test ttabeld with sample 6 at 5% significant indicate 2.8, so the value of rhitung> rtabel or 2,9> 2,78. so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between the guidance of the group of role playing techniques to the students' self-confidence broken home on the students of class X SMK Pabaku Kec. <![CDATA[This study aims to determine the role of the BK teacher in overcoming drug addiction (narcotics) in SMP Negeri 1 Pantai Labu students. The research method uses qualitative. Data collected by interview, documentation, and observation. The results showed that: 1) The Principal of Labu Pantai 1 Junior High School had to provide complete facilities to BK teachers so that the implementation of guidance and counseling was more maximal and effective. 2) To BK teachers to be more professional in helping solve students' problems and collaborate with other teachers and invite anti-drug counseling agencies to come to school to better master and pay attention to student development so that the implementation of guidance and counseling is more effective.Keywords: BK teacher, addiction, illegal drugs.]]>
