Abstract

This research creates and designs a Decision Support System (SPK) for CV Bintang Berkah by combining the Saving Matrix and Nearest Neighbor methods to optimize the route and capacity of the distribution load. CV Bintang Berkah faces challenges in managing distribution costs and load capacity, which affects operational efficiency. The Saving Matrix method helps in determining distribution routes with distance and cost savings, while the Nearest Neighbor method optimizes the order of visits based on the closest distance. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce transportation costs, increase distribution efficiency, and improve service quality. This system uses PHP and MySQL, focusing on the Cirebon City and Regency areas. The results show that applying this method significantly reduces the distance and cost of distribution and increases efficiency in the distribution process. With this system, CV Bintang Berkah is expected to overcome distribution challenges better, save costs, and increase the company's profitability.

Abstract

Limited Liability Companies (PT) are found in almost all regions in Indonesia, one of which is PT.  Sendang Sumber Arum 'VIAR Motor which provides sales of Karya 3-wheeled motorcycle units, e-motorcycles, razors, Cross Adventure, vintech, and e-bikes. E-bikes are the best-selling vehicles for each period, especially the UNO3 type. The problem faced by this company is the imbalance in sales figures which causes damage to the e-bike batteries that are sold over a long period of time and requires forecasting. The Single Exponential Smoothing method is the right forecasting method used to predict demand for goods that change very quickly, which aims to determine the estimated availability of vehicle units that must be held in the future, based on previous sales data. In determining the error value in forecasting, the author uses the Mean Square Error (MSE) which is based on the alpha value. This forecasting is implemented into an information system that produces a forecast for the UNO3 type e-bike with the smallest Mean Square Error (MSE) value obtained with an alpha of 0.3, namely with a value of 167.294. This proves the best forecast for predicting the quantity of UNO3-type e-bike stock units at PT. Sendang Sumber Arum ‘VIAR Motor’ Cirebon for the period of June 2024 using alpha 0.3. So the forecast value of UNO3 type e-bike unit sales for June 2024 in the 11-month forecast period with alpha 0.3 is 24.89 or around 25 units with actual data.

Abstract

This study aims to design a website-based new student admissions information system using the Agile method at SMK Kartika XIX-3 Cirebon City. The current information system still uses a manual method that requires significant time and effort and has the potential to cause errors in the administration process. Therefore, a more efficient system is needed to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the new student admissions process. The Agile method was chosen because of its iterative and flexible approach, allowing adaptation to changing needs during the development process. The design process involves several stages, namely planning, gathering needs, system design, implementation, and testing. This information system is designed to facilitate the registration of new students, provide features for prospective student data management, and facilitate communication between schools and prospective students. The results of this study are a website-based information system that can be accessed online, facilitating the registration process and management of new student data. The system trial showed that this application meets user needs with a user-friendly interface and features that are in accordance with the initial specifications. With this system, it is expected that the process of accepting new students at SMK Kartika XIX-3 Cirebon City will be more effective, efficient, and transparent.

Abstract

Currency exchange rates have an important role in a country's development and economy, especially in international trade and investment. Currency exchange rate fluctuations can have a significant impact on various aspects of the economy. One example is the Rupiah exchange rate against the Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR), which is important for many Indonesian citizens who undertake the Hajj and Umrah. Currency exchange rate prediction is a complex task because it is influenced by various economic, political, and social factors. Therefore, a method is needed that is able to accommodate the complexity and dynamics of the data. One potential method for predicting currency exchange rates is Support Vector Regression (SVR). SVR is a machine learning method that has demonstrated good performance in various prediction applications due to its ability to handle non-linear data and capture complex patterns in data. This research aims to apply the SVR method to predict the Riyal currency exchange rate against the Rupiah. Prediction accuracy will be measured using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). This research is expected to contribute in providing an accurate and efficient tool for predicting the Riyal exchange rate against the Rupiah, providing insight into the application of SVR in currency exchange prediction, and providing practical guidance in implementing the SVR method for the purpose of predicting currency exchange rates. Based on 120 test analyses using the Support Vector Regression (SVR) method using data compositions of 90: 10, 80: 20, and 70: 30, the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) value is 0.817317 in testing using a data composition of 90: 10.

Abstract

The tourism sector plays a crucial role in driving Indonesia's economy. Pinrang Regency, with its diverse natural tourist attractions, holds significant potential for tourism development. This study aims to design and develop the Marvelous Pinrang platform to enhance the tourism sector in Pinrang Regency. The platform is designed using the WordPress CMS, featuring destination information, interactive maps, media galleries, and user comments. The platform's usability was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The results indicate a high usability score, suggesting that the platform can effectively support tourism activities in Pinrang Regency. The development of this platform is expected to increase public awareness of the tourism potential in Pinrang Regency and attract more visitors to the region. By leveraging digital technology, the Marvelous Pinrang platform provides an accessible and user-friendly solution for promoting local destinations. Furthermore, the platform serves as a tool for fostering collaboration between local governments, businesses, and communities to strengthen the tourism ecosystem in Pinrang Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) for the process of receiving government assistance for underprivileged students at SMP Permata Depok. The system is designed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to help the school determine aid recipients more objectively and efficiently. The SAW method was chosen for its ability to provide structured assessments based on predetermined criteria, such as parental income, family dependents, and academic achievements. The research process involves collecting data on eligible students, determining the weight for each criterion, and calculating the final score for each potential aid recipient. The result of this system is a prioritized list of aid recipients that can be used by the school as a recommendation in decision-making. The implementation of this DSS is expected to improve transparency and accuracy in the selection process, minimizing subjectivity and potential errors in assessments. Evaluation of the system shows that the SAW method is effective in supporting fair and targeted decisions for students in need of assistance.

Abstract

Divorce is a complex social phenomenon that has significant impacts on individuals and society. In Indonesia, divorce is a serious concern for the government and society because the divorce rate has continued to increase in recent decades. Understanding the factors that contribute to divorce is essential to developing effective prevention strategies. The objective of this study is to classify the factors of divorce in Indonesia using the C4.5 algorithm, an algorithm used for data mining in building decision trees. This study used divorce data from 20 provinces in Indonesia in 2023 with various factors causing divorce. Divorce data was obtained from the Central Statistics Agency of Indonesia. The research process includes data collection, data pre-processing, and application of the C4.5 algorithm to build a classification model. The results of the study showed that continuous disputes and quarrels, apostasy, and economy are the most significant factors in divorce. The research results are expected to be a reference for policy makers and marriage counselors in formulating appropriate interventions to reduce divorce rates. The findings of this study can also serve as a foundation for establishing more effective policies and interventions to reduce divorce rates and enhance family institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Les Privat Medan merupakan salah satu usaha kecil yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan yang memberikan les privat, dimana manajemen kegiatan pembelajarannya masih dilakukan secara manual mulai dari proses pendaftaran, pengaksesan paket, bahan belajar dan penyusunan jadwal, proses pembayaran, hingga pemberian maupun penerimaan informasi seperti berita atau pengumuman. Pencatatan data masih direkap dengan menggunakan microsoft excel, sehingga menyebabkan proses menjadi tidak efisien dan rentan terjadinya kesalahan. Untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut, maka dirancang dan dibangun sistem informasi les privat dengan metodologi waterfall, analisis sistem dengan diagram use case, dan pengujian dengan metode black-box. Hasil dari perancangan dan pengembangan ini adalah sistem informasi berbasis web yang mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang masih dilakukan secara manual dalam manajemen kegiatan pembelajaran pada Les Privat Medan dengan lebih efisien dan terstruktur.

Abstract

With the advancement of increasingly affordable camera technology and the ease of image capture processes, facial recognition has become the biometric authentication method most vulnerable to spoofing attacks. This vulnerability significantly undermines the data integrity and reliability of facial recognition-based attendance systems. Therefore, a liveness detection method is required to help mitigate these spoofing attacks. This study aims to enhance the reliability of existing attendance systems in the teacher and staff attendance application developed for Universitas Mikroskil. In this research, the reliability of the liveness detection system will be tested using a nonlinear diffusion algorithm and Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) against spoofing attacks, employing a confusion matrix method. Based on the conducted tests, the designed liveness detection system achieved an accuracy rate of 87.76%.

Abstract

Barbershop is a men-only barbershop that has spread in the corners of the city. Barbershop is an option for young people from adolescence to adulthood because barbershop provides more services that cannot be obtained in conventional barbershops. With the high interest of visitors and the need for barbershops, often the search for barbershops becomes an obstacle for visitors because they do not know the location of the barbershop they want, especially to find a barbershop in Baturaja is not easy for visitors from outside the area because of the many barbershops that are in the scope of Baturaja, therefore for the search for barbershopsin Baturaja a Geographic Information System is needed that can make it easier to know the location and distance of barbershops. In designing and building a Geographic Information System, map data is needed in the form of location coordinates by observation at each barbershop. Geographic Information System using Google Maps Application as a map of the region, this system is lighter and easier to use because it only focuses on the location and proximity of barbershop. With the Geographic Information System visitors who come in Baturaja will be helped to find the location of the nearest barbershop.
