Abstract

With more and more people accessing the internet to get information and the absence of settings on data traffic it will cause the network to be slow. The network traffic settings in Linux Ubuntu still use scripts that are relatively more difficult to use and understand for some people, so tools are needed to configure them. Capture network traffic application is Software designed to capture communications connected to servers. Capture network traffic application can only log data and read TCP/IP and HTTP protocols. The Capture network traffic application has various features, including checking whether the server is on or off, capturing traffic packets on a LAN network, and displaying a map of the URL location. So the results of this study explain the creation of a Traffic Management Configurator to facilitate traffic monitoring settings in gateways that connect different networks. Furthermore, this traffic monitoring application is used to view the actual packets of traffic on the network and network statistics. Both applications use the web as an interface to the user.

Abstract

Automatically detects moving objects on a pedestrian video, each object will be detected by counting objects that appear at the beginning of the video based on a number. In detecting this object, the model used is the Gaussian Mixture Model whose performance is very effective if applied to any area that occurs in an object motion detected in the video. In this study, the Gaussian Mixture Model is used to model the background colors of each pixel. To facilitate the detection of this object, the Matlab 2016 application is also used, this application helps facilitate detection based on the size that will be adjusted according to the object to be detected.

Abstract

The garment industry has a large contribution to Indonesia's exports. Currently, this industry is facing various challenges, including changes in market demand that are getting faster along with the acceleration of the development of world fashion which does not only rely on the seasons but fashion trends, causing orders for apparel to change rapidly causing the high demand for raw materials from each industrial component to become unstable. stable. The obstacle that is often encountered in the implementation of supply chain management is the lack of coordination, causing distortion of information which results in a bullwhip effect. This research uses the literature study method for data collection and the waterfall method for system design. The final result of this research is a stock information system that is expected to reduce distortion of information and clarify coordination between components in a garment industry so as to reduce the bullwhip effect and stabilize demand for raw materials from each industrial component.

Abstract

The development of computer technology is also followed by the increasing number of computer users in the world. Along with the increasing number of computer users, the problem of computer damage has become quite a complicated problem. This is understandable considering the number of computer users who lack knowledge about computers, especially in dealing with computer damage. In addition, the limited memory and knowledge of a technician about computer damage can cause errors or inaccuracies in diagnosing the damage. In designing this system the approach method used is structured oriented with the system development method used is a prototype model. The supporting software used to design a food menu ordering information system is Power Designer, Bizagi Modeler, Balsamiq, and Microsoft Visio. The final result of this activity is in the form of an expert system design report to diagnose web-based hardware damage. With the expert system created, it is expected to be able to overcome errors in determining damage caused by the limited memory of technicians.

Abstract

In providing loans, cooperatives have stages that must be passed before credit is decided to be disbursed. The aim is to facilitate cooperatives in assessing the feasibility of a credit application. The loan eligibility assessment is carried out with many assessment criteria including employment, income, capital/shares, number of dependents, and house status. Analysis of loan eligibility requires the accuracy of a credit analyst in analyzing credit applicants submitted by members. If the credit analysis is not precise, then the provision of credit funds can be difficult and even make a loss. So to determine whether a loan application can be accepted or not, of course, cooperative management has many multi-criteria considerations. In this study, an analysis was carried out using the Simple Additive Weighting method to facilitate the process of making feasibility decisions and eliminating lending to prospective debtors. The results of the study show that the results of the calculation of the determination of lending funds to members of savings and loan cooperatives using the simple additive weighting method can show alternatives that are eligible to receive loans with a preference value >= 60% and also alternatives that are not eligible to receive loans, namely with a preference value of <= 60%.

Abstract

Technological advances at this time are very influential on people's shopping culture, plus during the current pandemic, it has resulted in an increasing number of people shopping for daily necessities online. There are many conveniences offered in online shopping that make people switch to using these facilities. Besides the advantages of online shopping, there are also some disadvantages of online shopping, including the rise of online sales fraud such as goods not being shipped, damaged goods, items not as ordered, and much more. For this reason, in conducting online transactions, trust is needed between the seller and the buyer, and one of the factors that greatly affect the prospective buyer is to know the history of the seller, namely by looking at the reviews given by the buyer on the seller's homepage which is called Online Customers Reviews (OCR). OCR is considered to be very influential on customer buying interest. One of the indicators that are considered very important in influencing consumer buying interest and trust is OCR. This study aims to analyze OCR clustering in one of the marketplaces in Indonesia using the K-Means Clustering Method. K-Means is a clustering algorithm that is quite effective because it has the ability to group large amounts of data and with high speed, the K-Means algorithm partitions data into clusters so that they have the similarity of being in one cluster.

Abstract

Competition in the business world in the era of globalization is now getting stronger. For that, a business requires a system that works efficiently and effectively. The Ganda Bakery is one of Pematang Siantar's special culinary delights which is well known among the people in the city and outside the city. Double Bakery is a legendary bakery that has existed since 1979 which is very crowded and in demand by people in the city and outside the city. Due to the large number of customers who come to the Double Bread Shop, so many new bakeries are trying to provide types of bread that resemble the menu in the Ganda Roti Shop, so that many new bakery businesses are opening to compete for customers at the Ganda Roti Shop. Therefore, by looking at the conditions and problems at the Ganda Bakery, it is necessary to have a media in the form of an online-based system to integrate ordering, marketing, and customer service that can manage the relationship between the company and its customers by creating applications with the CRM concept. In this study using the User-Centered Design (UCD) method is a new paradigm in the development of web-based systems. The purpose of using this UCD method is to overcome the problem of the user's inability to use the system, and it is hoped that the user will be able to know the function of the system only in one use. The UCD method involves potential users in the early stages of development so that potential users can provide input regarding the e-commerce system interface. The final result in building e-commerce is expected to produce maximum appearance and functionality and have usability values. So that UCD is very suitable to be used in developing and building systems effectively and efficiently at the Double Bakery.

Abstract

An educator is important to know and understand the personality of a student so that the educational process can take place properly so that it can get maximum results. Because students have different personality types and the personality type of a student shows how students accept the learning material provided by the teacher. In the teaching and learning process, educators who do not understand the personality of students will find it difficult to deliver learning materials that will attract students' interest, which will hamper the knowledge transfer process. In this study, the identification of the personality of students using the certainty factor method and the types of personality analyzed were choleric, melancholic, phlegmatic and sanguinis. Based on the personality traits of each. The goal is to make it easier for educators to find ways to educate according to the personality of students. The results obtained are that by using the certainty factor method, the personality of a student is obtained based on the characteristics of the student with a confidence level of 88.43%.

Translator Things is a technology that allows users to find out the names of objects in a variety of foreign languages, by using a cellphone / laptop camera, Translator Things is very useful if we are abroad and we can find out the name of the object that our country is visiting. For the System we use CNN and LSTM as CNN's algorithm to identify objects on the camera, and LSTM to translate text on the identification of these objects The results of this discussion will identify objects that will be identified through text.

Abstract

Improving services in all fields in higher education is the main choice because it is closely related to stakeholder satisfaction, especially in the academic field. Information technology used in managing activities will determine the desired process and output. So it is necessary to evaluate and audit information technology to determine the achievement of performance or productivity. Universitas Methodist Indonesia has implemented Information Technology in managing academic activities ranging from new student registration to student graduation, lecturer and staff activities, research activities, and community service. COBIT is one of the tools used in auditing information systems and information technology. The audit is carried out on human resources related to system and technology management involving the Head of the Data Processing Center, Head of Administration and Information Services, Head of System Development Affairs, and Implementing Staff. To obtain data by making a questionnaire given to the audited party. From the test results on the effectiveness of the control, there is already a running control, namely PO8.1. Quality Management System, PO8.4. Customer Focus, PO8.5 Continuous Improvement, and PO8.6 Quality Measurement, Monitoring and Review, DS5.9. Malicious Software Prevention, Detection, and Correction need to be improved and continuously. Then the level of performance of the Detailed Control Objective (DCO) in the third party service management process still tends to be lacking and still needs to be improved, with the average performance value in the third party service management process being 1.5.
