This research has the aims to find out the impact of water exploitation by PT. Tirta Investama to agricultural sector, especially to farmer’s income, and introduce the importance that impact to follow up later, in Trucuk, Klaten regency. The methods of analysis used in this research are wilcoxon-different test to test differentiation farmer’s income between before and after the exploitation activities, and some indicators about environmental impact analysis that regulated by Government Regulation No.27, 1999. The result of this research shows that there is a significant differentiation between before and after exploitation of farmer’s income. Also, farmer’s income after exploitation is lower than before and the impact of the activities is very important to get wise policy.Keywords: Land water exploitation, environmental impact, farmer’s income

Productivity performance is the key to improving the country's living standards. From this perspective, productivity improvement should not only be the goal of the business community, but of all groups in society. This research examines the impact of the characteristics industrial regional structure and the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) to productivity growth in Indonesia. This study find that the impact of investment per employee and regional competition structure, a positive and statistically significant. Finally, intra industry spillovers from FDI are found at the national level and there are the positive and significant correlation between FDI and Domestic investment to the other larges industrial in Indonesia. The main objective of this paper is to evaluate the impact of exchange rate to government external fund. Data used in this research originated from Financial Depatment (Depkeu) and Central Bank Of Indonesia (BI). Using VAR equation model to esimate this research.The result of the study shows that result of Granger causality test that happened the one way relation namely exchange rate (ER) influences government fund loan (GFL). Result of IRF indicates that variable of exchange rate have a big effect on GFL and composition from GFL influenced by innovation of itself and at period hereinafter the exchange rate give big influence. Economic potency in regions of west java regions is interesting to analyze. On 2000 to 2004, these regions had referred to structural economic changing which signed by the changing of its some secondary economic sectors share. Nevertheless, regional typology shows the income disparities among the regency on this regions. Especially, the regions with low per capita income and coincide with low economic growth should need to concern. Without right and wise policy, these regions will always left behind from the other regions if they are compared to the regions that have better typology. Analysis of Potentials and Strategies of Tourism Development at Mount Telomoyo Doriani Lingga

Mount Telomoyo does not only have agricultural potential, but also tourism potential. However, this potential has not been developed optimally. This research aimed to analyze the tourism potential at Mount Telomoyo and formulate its development strategies, so that it becomes a region with fast growing economy. The method used in this research was Delphi and AHP analysis methods in strategy formulation. The potentials of nature tourism at Mount Telomoyo are Sekar Langit Waterfall, Seloprojo Waterfall, Bleder Lake, and Andong Mountain Climbing. The cultural tourism includes Umbul Temple Hot Pool, Sunan Geseng Tomb, and the cultural events such as traditional ceremony/Tradition and People’s Art. The locations of development priority were Seloprojo Tourism Area and Pandean Tourist Village. The development strategies of Telomoyo area as a global tourism included the construction of adequate road infrastructure, so that accessibility and mobility in Telomoyo area can run well. In addition, there was a need for the construction of supporting facilities and infrastructures, buildings and environmental arrangement, tourism and culture promotion using print and electronic media and involving stakeholders in the development and promotion, and socialization to the community about tourism.Keywords: Tourism, Potential, Strategy.

The objective of the research are to describe; the mechanism of Direct Cash Helping (Bantuan Langsung Tunai/BLT) program in Sumbang district be a tool to solve the society poorness, the BLT program realization, the factors of supported and resisted of BLT program, to find out better solution which is through of BLT program in Sumbang district, and to analyze whether the BLT program can be overcome the society poorness in Sumbang district. Population of the research are 9,934 impecunious domestic in Sumbang district, so the number of minimum samples which must be taken at mistake storey level 0,1 % is equal to 100 respondents. Sample collection is done randomly in 19 countryside of Sumbang district. This Research is direct with the mixing method approach which use between qualitative and quantitative research. To analyze whether there is consideration difference to use of the BLT program, before and after direct aid execution, is used Cochran'S statistisk non-parametrik analysis with the SPSS program at the significant storey at 90% (a =10%) level. From the result analyses, there is no difference between respondents who had received the aid, before and after execution of acceptance BLT, that is for the accomplishment of daily meal requirement and their debt payment. This paper aims to measure the economic efficiency, poverty and well-being of nutmeg farmers in Somagede district, Banyumas regency. The respondents consist of 30 farmers selected by snowball sampling due to difficulty in getting sampling frame. Economic efficiency is the ratio between revenue and expenses. Economic efficiency of more than unity means that a particular business is profitable. Poverty is measured by comparing farmers’ percapita income with poverty line, while well-being is compared to regency’s living standard. The results show that in the long-run, nutmeg farming is highly profitable; however in the short-run, it is not attractive due to lead time (5-7 years from planting to harvest). Among 30 respondents, only one farmer is categorized as poor, while the rest are not poor. However, from the well-being perspective, only five respondents are of good well-being. Interventions to improve skills in farming and adding value to nutmeg products are therefore recommended. Keywords: nutmeg farming, economic efficiency, poverty, well-being
