ABSTRACTThe reading interest of Indonesian children is in the category of concern. There many factors the cause of low children's interest in reading, from economic factors to environmental factors. RT 06 / RW 08, the Bangkong River Village is one of the areas in the city of Pontianak that needs to be improved the reading interest. In this environment still do not have the facilities and infrastructure that can facilitate school-age children to gain knowledge through reading activities. Even if the child's interest in reading has been stimulated from an early age, it can build morals and morals in children. Therefore, through this dedication the dedication team made a reading corner as a vehicle to foster interest in reading for children which not only contained reading books, but was able to facilitate children in growing and developing their character with non-book items, such as crayons, picture books, colored pencils, colored papers and other craft objects. The purpose of this service activity is to provide supporting facilities in the form of elementary school textbooks and other science books as well as providing non-book items to develop children's creativity and children's positive imagination. ABSTRACTOne of the causes of high caries sufferers in teeth is the low awareness of patients in checking themselves find out the symptoms, causes and prevention of dental caries. Some of the methods of prevention of dental caries include flouridation of drinking water, flouridation of salt, milk fluid flouridation, healthy dietary improvement, individual action of gargling F, fluorine tablets, brushing with fluid F. The purpose of this dedication is to increase knowledge, understanding, use and benefits of flour-containing substances in the body, as well as prevention of dental caries and knowledge and proper tooth brushing. The method undertaken in this dedication activity is the method of lecture / counseling, namely the provision of information (education) either from pamphlets or videos about materials, uses and benefits as well as understanding the flour itself. Target in this service activity is the students of class V-VI because in this class group have / have permanent teeth, which more susceptible suffering dental caries in order to maintain healthy tooth and mouth early also give education to the surrounding environment. This dedication activity is held from August 2017 to January 2018. It is hoped that with this dedication activity, students of MI will know more about the information about the ingredients, the use and the benefit and the understanding of the flour itself so as to reduce or avoid dental caries disease.Keywords: Education, flour, prevention of dental caries, students of MI.

ABSTRACT Partner-1 of this Community Partnership Program (Program Kemitraan Masyarakat/PKM) is Primanda UNTAN Kindergaten, and Partner-2 Bina Insan Kindergaten. Both partners have problems about learning facilities Educational Game Tools (Alat Permainan Edukatif/APE) which is very minimal both indoor and outdoor. When teaching is still limited to factory made APE, while there are still many local natural resource potentials in West Kalimantan that can be used to create. Teachers are still lacking in socialization/training about the use of local natural resources. Special problems that found in partner-2 are learning methods still focused on reading, writing, and calculating (calistung). Parents in partner-2 want learning in kindergaten to focus on calistung learning. The purpose of this PKM, are: (1) knowledge sharing and appropriate technology through interactive multimedia approaches based on local natural resources in the shaped animation; (2) hold socialization/training to teachers and parents about the child's learning system according to their age; (3) interactive multimedia application demonstration in class. The enthusiastic of both partner's shows that this activity is needed by them to help them fix the problems that exist in each kindergaten. The socialization activity ended with a discussion in the form of questions and answers from participants related to the way of learning for kindergaten children using APE and interactive multimedia. The expectation of this activity is the knowledge sharing and technology to the teachers, so that the teaching and learning process becomes more enjoyable and understandable by kindergaten children using APE and interactive multimedia. ABSTRACTEarly childhood is a gold period which his/her potencies should be developed optimally. The way to optimize their potencies for early childhood is by developing the brain function optimally through the introduction of Brain-Gym since brain is a window to learn and work. Brain-Gym consisting of 26 movements can stimulate the three brain dimensions; those are laterality, focus, and concentration dimensions that support the development of emotional skill, social skill, intellectual ability, and physical ability. In particular, the development of all potencies can be done through updated laterality movement that is balancing right-left brain, related to left and right brain dimensions associating with communication ability. Brain gym can improve learning processes and integrate all areas that related to the learning process, specially for children who are a student of early childhood education. So, the aims for this activity is to improve teacher’s knowledge about brain gym. It is hoped that the teacher can practice the brain gym too. To transfer the knowledge about brain gym to the teacher of early childhood education, we use workshop methods. By using this method, teachers can find out about the benefit of brain gym and can practice it for their student. Finally, brain gym can optimize all aspects of child development and maximize children's ability to learn.Keyword: brain gym, early childhood education

Mempawah Hilir sub-district is a coastal area which to get a pure water is so hard to obtained. In an area like this the ground water is muddy with reddish-brown color with pH of 2 - 5 (acid), such water is unfit for drinking. The issue was the necessity of pure water are routinely faced, so to fulfill the necessity of pure water both partners usually rely on Rain Shelter to eat and drink while the other necessities are taken from well water (pond) and a brown murky sewage. The solution from the team was to transfer the knowledge and the Appropriate technology (MMF) in the form of a Well Water Treatment Installation into a pure water that is feasible to be consume. The output Target was a partner can process the well water with MMF technology suitable with the standard of health water quality and partner can process pure water in a simple way using natural resources in the surrounding. The approach method used was to provide counseling / socialization to both partners, continued with the demonstration, assembly training and use of MMF technology tools. The results of the activities were 1) the sequences of two sets of Water Treatment Installation complete with its spesification, 2) The condition of processed water MMF can be utilized by santri in Pesantren and the citizen for pray and others. ABSTRACTFarmer groups in Punggur Kecil Village do not have rice milling machine, which causing high cost production. In addition, agricultural activities resulted unprocessed agricultural waste and causing acidic soils. On the other hand, agricultural waste has great potential for biomass as an alternative source of energy and soil conditioner. An alternative solution is provided to help farmers for processing agricultural waste, namely SUMBER, and for rice milling rice milling or rice huller. The objectives of this program are: a) To create independent farmer groups in the production processes of agricultural products. b) To processing agricultural waste into biomass c) To trigger community to actively involved in finding solution regarding agricultural waste problem which could reduce pollution from agricultural waste. d) applying biomass from agricultural waste as a soil conditioner that can increase the pH of agricultural soils. The purpose of this community service was to train students of Mechanical Engineering Program University of Muhammadiyah Pontianak in using MATHCAD software. This training aims to support the courses of Basic Calculus, Advanced Calculus, Basic Engineering Mathematics, Advanced Engineering Mathematics and to improve the ability of Mechanical Engineering students about software MATHCAD. The program included preparation, training, and reporting. As the program ended, understanding of training participants in using this software is able to apply independently by direct practice with MATHCAD software properly. ABSTRACTLandak is one of the district with some area still far from optimal conditions, either health, education, nor economic sectors. Most of the people of Landak has graduated on elementary school (>50%), PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour) problems become priority in health field. The economic conditions is in middle to lower category . One of the area in Landak, which still require efforts to improve human resources is Mempawah Hulu District which is dominated by Dayak Kanayatn tribe. The purpose of KKN-PPM activities in Kecamatan (Sub District) Mempawah Hulu is to empower the community in health, education and socio-economic sectors . The method implemented in order to empower the society , by a trigger role form and community , institutional reinforcement and community mobilization. Third partys in this activity is Kecamatan Mempawah Hulu along with three villages in the region districts and Puskesmas (Public Helath Center) Karangan. Through these activities, Alert village could be activated again. Establishment of PHBS (Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour) cadres, cadres Alert , pioneer of GENRE as well as an initiation of ODF hamlet can implemented . In the fields of education, it is formed reading house thet has the synergy with green school and formation learning group. In field of entrepreneurship, it is formed a catfish cultivation group and chicken boiler cultivation group as well formed group of entrepreneurship that has a society priority within its products originated from ingredients local . ABSTRACTKarya Usaha II Farmer Group is still applying conventional farming systems which mean still very dependent on an-organic fertilizer. Excessive use of an-organic fertilizers will adversely affect the environment. Alternative solutions are made in the form of using organic fertilizers from local resources, namely cowhide blood waste. The implementation method used in this activity is participatory and collaborative methods. The success of this activity by using the participatory method is very much determined by the direct involvement of the community starting from the planning, fertilizer making, planting, fertilizing and maintenance processes. The results of this activity are expected to increase the independence of the farmer group partners in providing organic fertilizer for agricultural purposes as well as being able to initiate changes from conventional farming systems to organic farming systems. ABSTRACTThe Limbung Indomakmur Farmer Group is a Horticultural Farmer Group located in Limbung Village, Sungai Raya Sub-district, Kubu Raya District. Problems faced by farmers are related to land processing. The land processing done so far is still using simple agricultural equipment, Farmers need a long time due to uneven land contours. Farmers do not have adequate equipment and technology to process the land. Through PKM activities were given a modified Culvivator Mini Tractor Machine according to conditions in the field.
