Abstract

This research was conducted in Class IX-8 of Singaraja 2 Public Middle School in the even semester of the 2017/2018 school year, with the aim of improving student learning achievement in science learning by applying discovery methods. Data was collected through a learning achievement tests. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. Data was presented in the form of average learning achievement and learning completeness process. The results showed that the learning achievement at the beginning of the average student learning achievement was only 73.63 with learning completeness only 40.74%, then after the implementation of the study it turned out that the students learning achievement in the first cycle became an average of 79.81. With learning completeness reaching 59.26%, and in the second cycle student learning achievement reached an average of 82.61 with 88.89% learning completeness. Thus the conclusion of this study is that the application of the discovery method can improve student learning achievement in class IX-8 Singaraja SMP Negeri 2 semester even academic year 2017/2018 Keywords: discovery learning method, learning achievement

Abstract

The process and student learning outcomes in science learning material properties of light is a problem faced by class IV SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. Student activity and learning outcomes have not been maximized because the teacher delivered science learning materials using the lecture method. This is the background of the researchers to conduct research with the aim of improving the process and learning outcomes of science with material properties of light with learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research is a type of classroom action research conducted in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students, amounting to 27 students consisting of 14 female students and 13 male students. The implementation of this study used 2 cycles. Instruments used to collect data are observation sheets, interviews, documentation and test questions. The results of this study indicate that science learning outcomes with material properties of light using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi have increased in two cycles with quite satisfactory values. There was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle 1 an average value of 68.51 to 75.37 in cycle 2. In addition, there was an increase in the learning process of students in science learning carried out by teachers using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the significant differences of knowledge competence of science group of students which is taught by learning model of learning cycle 5E that is supported by environmental media compared with group of students that is taught by conventional learning in fourth grade students of SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu, North Denpasar District, in academic year 2017/2018. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research is all the fourth grade students in SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Sub District of North Denpasar, which is total 332 students that spread in 9 classes. The sample determination was done by random sampling technique. The sample in this research is the students of grade IV A SDN 1 Peguyangan with 43 students as experiment group and fourth grade students of SDN 12 Peguyangan with 41 students as control group. The data were collected by using the test method in the form of a standard multiple-choice objective test. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. Based on the results of data analysis obtained thitung = 4,453 while at the level of significance 5% and dk = 82 obtained ttable value = 1,989 so thitung = 4,453 > ttable = 1,989. Based on the test criteria, Ho is rejected. The average score of science knowledge competence in the group that was taught by the Learning Cycle 5E model with the help of environmental media was 81,53, while in the group taught by conventional learning was 72,82. Based on the result, it can be concluded that there is influence of Learning Cycle 5E model with the help of environmental media on science knowledge competence of fourth grade students of SD Gugus Letkol Wisnu Sub-district of North Denpasar in academic year 2017/2018 Keywords : Learning Cycle 5E, environmental, knowledge competence of science

Abstract

This research aimed to identify and analyze the effectiveness of spotlight book media with SAVI model towards the critical thinking skill of students on IPS studies, 4th Grade of SD N Wangandalem 01 Brebes. This research was a quantitative research with research design that was Pre Experimental Design in the form of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The variable that used by researcher is dependent variable (attached) that was the critical thinking skill of students and independent variable (free) that was spotlight book media with SAVI model. The data collection of this research was giving 10 questions of critical thinking skill of students on pre-test and post test, for getting the different result of critical thinking skill of students between before and after doing that. For applying spotlight book media with SAVI model was obtained the enhancement result of average value of students’ critical thinking skill as much as 15.27% from 63.92 to 79.19. Abstract

This research was conducted in Class IX-6 of Singaraja 2 Public Middle School in the odd semester of the 2017/2018 school year, with an average condition of only 59.21. This condition did not meet the minimal expected score. The percentage of achievement has only reached 28.95%. The purpose of writing this class action research is to improve Mathematics achievement through the implementation of Problem Based Learning Learning Models. The data was collected through tests, which were then analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. Data was presented in the form of average learning achievement and completeness learning process. The results obtained from this study were the development of very positive results. Initially on average; 59.21 with learning completeness only; 28.95%, then after the implementation of Cycle I increased to an average of 73.68 with learning completeness reaching 55.26% From Cycle I to Cycle II there was also an increase which reached an average of 76.32 and completeness of learning 86.84 %. The conclusion obtained from this study is the Implementation of Learning Based Learning Model can improve the mathematics achievement of students in class IX-6 of Singaraja 2 Public Middle School in the semester of school year 2017/2018. Abstract

This research aims to determine the significance of the difference in science learning results between the group of fifth-grade students in Gugus I Elementary Schools, North Kuta District, in the school year of 2017/2018, that take lessons with the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model and the group of students that take lessons with the conventional learning. The design of this research is a quasi-experimental research with the nonequivalent control group design. The population of this research are all the fifth-grade students of Gugus I Elementary Schools in North Kuta District that still implement the KTSP, which consists of 10 classes with a total of 339 students. The sampling is conducted using the random sampling technique. The sample in this research are the students of class VB in SD (Elementary School) No.7 Dalung, with 36 students as the experiment group and the students of class VB in SD No.4 Dalung with 28 students as the control group. The data collection is conducted using the test method in the form of the multiple choice objective test. The science learning results are analyzed using the t-test. Based on the average the experiment groups =80,89 > the control group =72,85, which means that the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model has an influence on the science learning result. Based on the hypothesis test, tvalues =4,517> ttable =2,000, with dk=62 and a significance level of 5%. Based on the test criteria, H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be interpreted there is a significant difference the science learning result between the group of students that were taught using the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model and the students that were taught using the conventional learning. It can be concluded that the the multimedia-assisted probing-prompting learning model has an influence on the science learning result of the fifth-grade students in Gugus I Elementary School, North Kuta District, in the school year of 2017/2018. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning. Subyek penelitian adalah peserta didik semester II tahun pembelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 orang,terdiri dari peserta didik laki-laki orang dan peserta didik perempuan.Penelitian ini berlangsung dalam 2 siklus yang masing-masing siklus terdiri atas perencanaan,tindakan,observasi dan refleksi. Data yang diperoleh diambil dari hasil observasi,dan data tentang refleksi  peserta didik  yang diambil dari angket setiap akhir pertemuan. Diukur dari hasil pengamatan berdasarkan lembar observasi,maka peserta didik dinyatakan aktif mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik sebesar 79 dan presentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar  66,77%,dan aktivitas belajar peserta didik dalam pembelajaran  82,35%. Pada  hasil tes siklus II rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 82,ketuntasan belajar 88,24%,serta aktivitas belajar peserta didik 91,18%. Berdasarkan penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Discovery learning pada kompetensi Dinamika litosfer dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik semester II IPS tahun pembelajaran 2017/2018.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatankan kompetensi professional pendidik dan meningkatkan prestasi hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran matematika   dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran tutor sebaya.  Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Semester 2 MIPA 2 SMAS Katolik Bhaktyarsa Maumere. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui pengamatan,  ketrampilan berdiskusi peserta didik dengan tutorial, dan tes hasil akhir peserta didik. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif diskriptif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh  yaitu persentase  keaktifan  peserta didik, ketelitian dalm penyelesaian soal dan ketuntasan belajar dan produk mengalami peneingkatan pada setiap siklus. Kemampuan rata-rata  peserta didik sebelum adanya implementasi tindakan berkategori kurang. Namun, setelah implementasi tindakan selama dua siklus, kemampuan rata-rata peserta didik menjadi berkategori baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) secara proses, pembelajaranmatematika konsep perkalian scalar dua vector  mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Sebelum implementasi tindakan, peserta didik masih belum aktif melakukan diskusi dan belum mampu bekerjasama dengan baik pada saat berdiskusi. Setelah implementasi tindakan, peserta didik menjadi aktif dan mampu bekerjasama dengan baik pada saat berdiskusi; (2) secara produk, dalam menyeleseiakan soal perkalian scalar dua vector memperoleh  skor rata-rata  86,67 untuk siklus I dan 89,92 untuk siklus II. Peningkatan prestasi belajar antar siklus yang diperoleh adalah  8,67% untuk ketuntasan klasikal dan 3,25 untuk rata-rata kelas

Abstract

Assessment is a process to obtain and collect student learning outcomes during learning. Based on the facts in the field it was found that the teacher was unable to compile assessment tools for writing explanatory text skills and short story texts. The purpose of this study was to develop assessment tools for explanatory text writing skills and short story texts consisting of teacher guides and student assignments. The research and development model used in this study is the R2D2 development model. The results showed that the assessment skills of explanatory text writing skills and short story texts developed were appropriate to be implemented in the 2013 curriculum. The teachers guide to explanatory texts reached 91% and the teachers guide to short story texts reached 86%. While the student assignment for the explanatory text reached 87% and the student assignment for the short story text reached 82%. Based on the results of the validity and reliability test, it shows that all the items of work that have been developed are valid and reliable.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan motivasi dan prestasi belajar ilmu gizi siswa kelas X Tata Boga 3 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X tata boga 3 SMK N 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang berjumlah 40 orang. Sedangkan objeknya adalah motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa. Data motivasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan lembar kuesioner, sedangkan data prestasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan dengan tes pilihan ganda. Analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data deskriptif. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model kooperatif tipe Student Team Achievement Division dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas X tata boga 3 SMK Negeri 2 Singaraja tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar siklus I sebesar 52.62 dan 58.5 yang berkatagori positif pada siklus II. Untuk rata- rata hasil belajarpada siklus I sebesar 72.25, Pada siklus II menjadi sebesar 80.12. Kata kunci: prestasi belajar, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student team achievement division, motivasi belajar
