Abstract

Keberhasilan lembaga penyelenggara pendidikan sangat ditentukan oleh kualitas pelayanan yang dapat diukur melalui kepuasan mahasiswa sebagai pelanggan jasa pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mengukur  tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, 2) mengetahui faktor dan variabel apa yang harus harus ditingkatkan untuk memenuhi kepuasan mahasiswa, 3) mengetahui faktor dan variabel apa yang harus tetap dipertahankan untuk memenuhi kepuasan mahasiswa, 4) apakah layanan yang diterima mahasiswa sudah sesuai dengan yang diharapkan mahasiswa. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpul data. Dimensi yang digunakan menyusun istrumen merupakan dimensi-dimensi yang menentukan kualitas pelayanan yang terdiri dari 5 dimensi yaitu: 1) bukti langsung (tangible), 2) keandalan (Reability), 3) daya tanggap (Responsiveness), 4) jaminan (Assurance), dan 5) Empati (Emphaty). Jumlah responden yang digunakan sebagai sampel berjumlah 321 responden yang diambil secara proporsional berdasarkan jumlah mahasiswa setiap jurusan. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistika deskriptif untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa, dilanjutkan dengan importance-performance analysis untuk mengetahui tingkat kepentingan dan kepuasan mahasiswa. Dari hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap pelayanan akademik secara umum adalah cukup baik dengan persentase tingkat kepuasan sebesar 68,97%. Hasil Importance-Performance Analysis menunjukkan terdapat 6 indikator pelayanan yang harus mendapat prioritas peningkatan dan 3 indikator pelayanan yang harus dipertahankan untuk memenuhi kepuasan mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of applying problem-based spot capturing models in teaching social science in order to develop creativity and caring of students in elementary school. The experimental research was carried out for four weeks by using problem-based spot capturing models learning in two groups is experimental group (n = 24) and control group (n = 23). This study used quasi experimental method with pre-test and post-test control group design. The research instrument was taken from observation and questionnaire then the data was analysed by using qualitative descriptive percentage. Based on the data, the researchers figure out that a teacher plays an important role in developing the character of the students through the learning design. In addition, there are differences in the higher score obtained by the experimental group than the control group on creative and care characters by using problem-based spot capturing models. Students also gain an improvement in technology use and skills in social science class by using the problem-based spot capturing models.

Abstract

This study is the initial part for developing cooperative problem-based learning (hereafter Co-PBL) to promote verbal creativity in EFL writing. The study is aimed at: (1) investigating the previous teaching and learning model implemented in EFL writing class; and (2) measuring and analyzing the extent to which the teachers and students need Co-PBL to promote verbal creativity (hereafter VC) in EFL writing. This study employed a case study method with the respondents of the research were 2 EFL writing teachers and the students who take EFL writing course in English Education Department of a private university in East Java, Indonesia. The data was yielded from questionnaire, in-depth interview, observation, and document analysis. After analyzing the data descriptively, the results show that teachers have used to implement cooperative learning and problem-based learning in EFL writing class; however, they never try to integrate the two models as a new one. It was also revealed that they did not notice verbal creativity as an affecting factor in EFL writing due to their insufficient knowledge to develop learning model that can promote verbal creativity. This study also reveals that teachers and students are eager to develop and implement Co-PBL in order to promote students’ verbal creativity in EFL writing. The findings of this study might have implication for EFL writing teachers and learners.

Abstract

This study is aimed at determining significant differences between the Civics learning outcomes of the students who took a scientific approach based learning with portfolio assessment in terms of concrete objects and students who took a scientific approach based learning with portfolio assessment in terms of abstract objects. This study is a pre-experiment (pre-experimental design) with the design of the study was the Static Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this study was the students of grade V SDN 4 Ubung Denpasar, in the academic year 2014/2015, amounting to 60 people. The samples were taken by using random sampling techniques. The data in the form of the value of Civics learning outcomes were collected with the usual multiple-choice test. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test. The results showed that there were differences between the Civics learning outcomes of students who took a scientific approach based learning with portfolio assessment in terms of concrete objects and students who took a scientific approach based on learning through portfolio assessment in terms of abstract objects with t = 2.29, t table with 5% level of significance and db = 58, obtained t table at 2.00. This meant that tobserved > ttable (2.29> 2.00). Based on these results, it could be concluded that the scientific approach based on a portfolio assessment in terms of the object being observed on the theme of the history of civilization of Indonesia influenced the learning outcomes of Civics of the students grade V in SDN 4 Ubung Denpasar.

Abstract

The problem faced by students is the difficulty of understanding on metal casting topic in the lesson of Materials Technology which is conducted by lectures only. The research objective is to find out the improvement of score on metal casting topic for 1G students from Mechanical Engineering Department, State Polytechnic of Malang (Polinema) in odd Semester, Academic Year 2016/2017. Research method were facilitation of applied metal casting through pretest of metal casting, added a description of the design and modification of metal mould for Aluminium, visit to a home industry of Aluminium casting, students practice of Aluminium casting in a home industry, student groups presentation and discussion in the subtopics of (1) design and mould manufacture, (2) Aluminium casting practice, and (3) tensile testing with cast Aluminium specimen, as well as posttest on metal casting. The research result is an increasing in average score from 46.56 to 53.6 (22%) that means by adding the practice to the theory involved is increase a significant impact on understanding of Aluminium casting for students.

Abstract

The aim of this research were to find out (1) the steps of story telling technique based Balinese culture in teaching writing pesonal story skill of fifth-grade students in SD Mutiara Singaraja, (2) students’ learning outcome of fifth-grade students in SD Mutiara Singaraja by empowering of story telling technique based Balinese culture in teaching writing pesonal story skill. This research was descriptive qualitative. The subject of this research were teacher and fifth-grade students’ of SD Mutiara Singaraja. The object of this study were the steps of story telling technique based Balinese culture in teaching writing pesonal story skill of fifth-grade students in SD Mutiara Singaraja, students’ learning outcome of five-grade students in SD Mutiara Singaraja by empowering of story telling technique based Balinese culture in teaching writing pesonal story skill. The data were collected by observing and testing. The result of the analysis showed that (1) the teacher did the learning activity effectively by story telling technique based Balinese culture, in preliminary, main activity , and closure, those the learning objectives could be achieved. (2) The students’ learning outcome of five-grade students in SD Mutiara Singaraja by empowering of story telling technique based Balinese culture in teaching writing pesonal story skill were in spendid category, that was about 93.7. Therefore, it could be concluded that the story telling technique based Balinese culture was effective to be applaid in teaching writing pesonal story skill, those the students could show the optimal learning out come.

Abstract

This study aims to find the Supervision Model Based on Primary Teacher Professional Competence which effective on integrated learning. This study use research and development with qualitative approach which will be carried out in the Palmerah, West Jakarta. The techniques used to collect data are interviews, questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data v alidity is tested with credibility, transferability, dependability, and comfortability. The model developed will be validated using the Delphi technique. The result of this research is the discovery of the model and device-based supervision model of professional competence of primary teachers in integrated learning. The long-term goal of this research is to improve the teachers’ competence and the supervision quality for primary teachers in integrated learning

Abstract

The problem inthis studyis the lack ofability to appreciate the art work on PGSD FKIP-UR students who can be seen insymptoms symptoms of inability to distinguish works of craft and art works, the low ability students explain the function and meaning of craft objects in public life in accordance with the local culture local. Lack of student awards both morally and materially to the creation of creative crafts. lack of abilityin the understanding of concepts, reasoning, and problem solving, artcrafts. Based on the problems it is necessary to find away to solve the problem. Among themis to change the methods of teaching. For that in this study the researcher will apply local knowledge in the learning approach. This research was conductedasa classaction two cycles each cycleconsisted of two meetings. The application of local wisdom approach in volvesa conscious effort to engage students actively and creatively. Subjects in this study were students PGSD FKIP-UR fourth semester. Research data collection instruments consisted of observation activity sheets and sheets of faculty and students to replay the end of thetest cycle. The study was a classroom action research (CAR), this study aims to increase art appreciation fourth semester students PGSDFKIP-UR. The results of this study indicate that the application of local wisdom approach can improve student art appreciation PGSD FKIP-UR, with the average value of the initial value of 58.41 into a 84.75 in the second cycle. The average value of faculty activity also increased from an average of68.15 into 94.75. Student Activities also increased from an average of 63.24% in the first cycle to 89.80%. Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Dibimbing oleh Kadek Dewi Wahyuni Andari dan Agustinus Toding Bua. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPA dengan Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) di Kelas V B SDN 047 Tarakan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan di SDN 047 Tarakan pada semester II tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas V-B SDN 047 Tarakan berjumlah 32 siswa laki-laki berjumlah 18 siswa dan perempuan berjumlah 14 siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai aspek kognitif siklus I sebesar 56,25%  kemudian di siklus II meningkat sebesar 87,5%, Pada aspek afektif siklus I sebesar 50%  kemudian di siklus II meningkat sebesar 84,375%,. Pada aspek psikomotorik siklus I sebesar 68,75%  kemudian di siklus II meningkat sebesar 87,5%, Pada Motivasi belajar siklus I sebesar 62,5%  kemudian di siklus II meningkat sebesar 84,375%. Maka dapat dikatakan bahwa penelitian sudah berhasil dan sesuai dengan indikator keberhasilan.Kata kunci: Motivasi belajar, Hasil belajar, model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD). ABSTRACTRudi Pujiono, 2017. The purpose of this study is to improve the motivation and learning outcomes of science with the Application of Cooperative Learning Model Type Student Team Achievement Divisions (STAD) in Class V B SDN 047 Tarakan. The type of research used is Classroom Action research conducted at SDN 047 Tarakan in second semester of academic year 2016/2017. The subjects of the study were students of class V-B SDN 047 Tarakan amounted to 32 male students totaling 18 students and 14 students. The results of this study obtained the cognitive aspects of the first cycle of 56.25% and then in the second cycle increased by 87.5%, On the affective aspects of cycle I of 50% and then in the second cycle increased by 84.375%. On the psychomotor aspect of cycle I of 68.75% then in cycle II increased by 87.5%, On the Motivation learning cycle I of 62.5% and then in the second cycle increased by 84.375%. Abstract

In this study the problem was that the implementation of Penjasorkes learning was not maximum in SLB N 2 Padang. The implementation of Penjasorkes learning had not been success caused by a teaching strategy that was not appropriate with the condition such as the use of learning media that had not been able to provide physical education effectively and efficiently to students. So that it made the students were less creative and less motivated in doing physical activities, especially athletic material and the basic movements of running, throwing and jumping which were presented in the form of game. This research included development research that aimed to produce athletic learning media through playing with basic movements of running, jumping, and throwing for mentally retarded students at SLB N 2 Padang. Finally, this research was expected to contribute and be useful for the development of science especially in the field of physical education, sports and health. It could be concluded that there was a significant effect of the development of learning media on the basic athletic abilities of students in SLB N 2 Padang with an increase 3.49 in the average score, from the average score of pre test 50 and the post test 53.49.
