Abstract

The low reading literacy in elementary schools certainly has an impact on students' academic achievement and intellectual development. Reading literacy. The type of research is a quasi-experimental (Quasi quasi-experimental design) with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study was all Grade III elementary school students using the intact group technique. The number of samples was 61 students, consisting of 24 students in the experimental group and 37 students. The data analysis method used descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed a t-count value of 2.237, a df 59 significant level of 5%, and a t-table value of 0.023. Based on the calculation achievement, the t-count was greater than the t-table (2.237 more than 0.023) Sig. Value. (2-tailed) less than 0.05 (0.029 less than 0.05). This shows that there is a significant impact between students who learn to use the E-Bookstory media based on the Riri application in grade III elementary school and students who learn reading literacy conventionally in elementary school. This study concludes that the E-Bookstory media based on the Riri application has a significant effect on students' reading literacy. This study implies that the activities The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of E-Bookstory learning media in developing learning must be able to condition students to be more active in reading.

Abstract

The lack of student learning motivation during the learning process caused by the lack of enthusiasm of students when learning is still low. One of the factors that cause the lack of student learning motivation is the use of learning models that are less varied. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) learning model assisted by interactive multimedia on beginning reading skills in Indonesian language in grade I elementary school students. Quasi-experiment research, with a nonequivalent pos-test only control group design with a research population of 211 grade I elementary school students. This research data collection method uses observation. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics (t-test). The results of the t-test analysis obtained a t-count value equal to 8.205 and t-table 1.672. Based on the calculation of the t-test obtained t_count more than t_table so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted so that there is a significant effect on the application of the Survey, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite, Review (SQ4R) model assisted by interactive multimedia on beginning reading skills in Indonesian Language in grade I elementary school students. The implication of this research is that the application of the SQ4R model assisted by interactive multimedia increases motivation and has a significant impact on the beginning reading skills of grade I elementary school students.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low problem solving abilities of students and the need for learning media, especially in mathematics learning. The main aim of this research is to develop and analyze effectiveness E-Modul berbasis Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) in improving students' problem solving abilities in number material.  This research uses the ADDIE development model with data collection methods using description tests and questionnaires. The sample for this research is a teaching module. Data analysis techniques use quantitative, qualitative descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results of this development research are the results of validating the content of the subject matter with showed a significant increase in students' problem solving abilities. The RME approach applied in this E-Module allows students to better understand the concept of numbers through real context, so that they can relate the material to everyday experiences. Data analysis shows that students who studied using RME-based E-Modules experienced an increase in problem solving test scores compared to students who used conventional methods. Apart from that, students' responses to the use of this E-Module were very positive, where they felt more motivated and interested in the learning process. So it can be concluded that E-Module based Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) effectively applied to whole number material in students' mathematics subjects. Research implications iThis can be an innovative alternative in learning mathematics, especially in numbers.

Abstract

The low learning outcomes of elementary school students in Indonesian language subjects remain a persistent issue, primarily due to the continued use of conventional teaching methods that emphasize rote learning and teacher-centered instruction. This approach limits students' active participation, inhibits critical thinking development, and reduces their motivation for independent learning. To address this challenge, this study investigates the effectiveness of the problem-based learning (PBL) model assisted by interactive PowerPoint media in enhancing students’ cognitive understanding. This study employs a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The sample consists of 55 fifth-grade students, divided into an experimental group taught using PBL assisted by interactive PowerPoint media and a control group taught using conventional methods. Data were collected using multiple-choice objective tests and analyzed through descriptive statistics and t-tests to compare learning outcomes between the two groups. The results reveal a statistically significant improvement in students' cognitive knowledge competence in the experimental group compared to the control group. These findings demonstrate that integrating PBL with interactive power point media is an effective strategy to enhance students’ cognitive understanding and learning motivation. The study underscores the importance of adopting innovative and student-centered teaching models to improve cognitive learning outcomes in Indonesian language education at the elementary level.

Abstract

Students' listening skills at the elementary school level are often less than optimal, especially with the use of conventional methods that tend to be monotonous and uninteresting. This often happens in Indonesian language learning, which requires more attention from students. This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the storytelling learning model based on audiovisual media in improving the listening skills of fourth-grade elementary school students and to compare it with conventional methods. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a Non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The research sample consisted of 45 students divided into two groups: an experimental class taught with a storytelling model based on audiovisual media and a control class using conventional methods. Data were collected through multiple-choice objective tests and analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-tests. The results showed a significant difference in listening skills between the experimental and control groups. This study concludes that the storytelling learning model based on audiovisual media is efficacious in improving students' listening skills. The implication of this study is the importance of implementing innovative learning strategies that pay attention to the cognitive and psychological aspects of students to improve the effectiveness of Indonesian language learning in elementary schools.
