Abstract

Penelitian ini menguji secara empiris pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi pada Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) di Kecamatan Denpasar Timur.  Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 93 orang karyawan dari 12 LPD di Kecamatan Denpasar Timur. Pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap self-efficacy, self-efficacy berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan dengan self-efficacy sebagai variabel mediasi pada Lembaga Perkreditan Desa (LPD) di Kecamatan Denpasar Timur.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Objek yang diteliti adalah karyawan perusahaan PT PLN (PERSERO) Unit Induk Distribusi Jawa Tengah Dan D.I Yogyakarta Unit Pelaksana Pelayanan Pelanggan Salatiga. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode puposive sampling, yaitu responden yang sudah bekerja lebih dari satu tahun. Penelitian menggunakan data primer dengan instrumen kuesioner. Pengujian dilakukan dengan analisis regresi linier berganda untuk menguji pengaruh variabel disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan, lingkungan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan tetapi tidak signifikan, serta disiplin kerja dan lingkungan kerja secara berasama-sama berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study evaluates the influence of environmental performance, profitability, firm size, and leverage on environmental disclosure. This research is replicated from Dewi and Yasa’s research on 2017, with some modifications. The population collected from the annual report and/or sustainability report of consumer goods industry and mining companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and PROPER or Program Penilaian Peringkat Kinerja Perusahaan in 2017 until 2018. The technique of take the sample was purposive sampling and the total of 56 data was being the samples in this study. The result of the statistical tests prove that profitability and firm size have positively associate and influence to environmental disclosure. Meanwhile, environmental performance and leverage were insignificantly influence to environmental disclosure. This research also found that some of the companies that being tested still have less awareness in exposing their environmental disclosure.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan dan mental accounting terhadap perilaku konsumtif generasi milenial dengan gender sebagai pemoderasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Kota Salatiga dengan sampel 100 responden. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dan karyawan di Salatiga yang lahir pada tahun 1980 sampai 1999. Jenis sampling menggunakan purposive sampling dan pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung maupun online. Data yang terkumpul diolah dengan teknik Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). Studi ini menemukan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh negatif terhadap perilaku konsumtif, mental accounting berpengaruh positif terhadap perilaku konsumtif, dan gender memoderasi pengaruh antara literasi keuangan dan mental accounting terhadap perilaku konsumtif.

Abstract

The consistent implementation of good corporate governance based on fairness, transparency, and accountability is proven to improve the quality of financial statements.This study aims to determine the influence of indicators of good corporate governance indicators to earnings management in Manufacturing Companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The sampling method is porposive samling by taking a sample of 30 manufacturing companies in the consumer goods industry sector which publishes annual report complete year 2014-2018.The results showed that simultaneously and partially, managerial ownership, composition of board of commissioner, audit committee and audit quality of KAP size have a positive effect on earnings management.Variable composition of board of commissioner has the most dominant influence to earnings management, shown by value of Standardized efficients Beta 0,303 bigger of the value of Standardized Coefficients Beta of other independent variables.

Abstract

The study of sustainability has attracted the interest of some researchers lately, both at the level of small businesses and corporate. Sustainable growth is one measure of good company performance because it combines operating and financial policies. Companies that have high debts are not always bad, but they need supervision and planning so as to produce optimal decisions for the company. This study aims to analyse the effect of leverage and profitability on sustainable growth in manufacturing sector companies in 2015-2017 which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The purposive sampling approach was used in the selection of samples, and obtained as many as 70 companies in accordance with existing criteria. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis to process the data. This study proves that leverage has a significant positive effect on sustainable growth, while profitability has a significant positive effect on sustainable growth.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of corporate governance and leverage towards tax aggressiveness. The research data comprises 66 firm-year obtained from 11 mining companies during 2013-2018. They were sorted using a purposive sampling method. The hypotheses were tested using multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that institutional ownership and audit committee had a positive and significant effect on tax aggressiveness, the proportion of independent commissioners and audit quality had a negative and significant effect on tax avoidance, while leverage was not considered as a determinant of tax avoidance in Indonesian manufacturing firms.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi keterkaitan dividen dengan kualitas laba pada perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia. Studi tentang kualitas laba perusahaan telah dilakukan tetapi masih sedikit yang mencoba untuk terhubung dengan dividen. Penelitian ini mencoba memberikan bukti bahwa dividen memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas laba. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 168 perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia. Laporan keuangan perusahaan untuk periode 2016-2018 digunakan sebagai sampel penelitian ini. Analisis regresi digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembayaran dividen dan rasio pembayaran dividen berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kualitas laba.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada posisi laki-laki dan perempuan terkait post-marital residence dalam praktek belis di Desa Aiteas bagi pengantin yang sesudah menikah tinggal (matrilokal) dan yang tidak tinggal bersama keluarga perempuan (neolokal). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Aiteas, Posto Administrativu Manatuto, Municipio Manatuto, Timor Leste. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, praktek perkawinan di Desa Aiteas pengantin laki-laki dari luar Desa Aiteas yang menikah dengan perempuan Desa Aiteas terkait post-marital residence antara yang tinggal dan yang tinggal di luar keluarga perempuan secara tahapannya adalah sama. Besarnya belis merupakan kesepakatan bersama. Di Desa Aiteas sesuai adat matrilineal menempatkan posisi laki-laki dalam relasi keluarga : Pertama, Laki-laki mengalami sub-ordinasi dalam pengambilan keputusan. Kedua, kekuasaan harta benda dan sistem warisan berada di tangan di pihak istri. Ketiga, marga anak mengikuti marga pihak keluarga perempuan. Posisi laki-laki ini tidak berbeda antara post-marital residence matrilokal maupun neolokal.  Posisi perempuan dalam keluarga : pertama, pada aspek pendidikan, semakin banyak perempuan Desa Aiteas yang sekolah sampai Universitas. Kedua, dalam aspek sosial budaya, perempuan Desa Aiteas berperan aktif dalam kegiatan sosial budaya sebagai kewajiban berpartisipasi bagi rumah adat (uma lisan). Ketiga, dalam aspek politik, perempuan Desa Aiteas bisa terjun ke dunia politik. Perbedaan post-marital residence antara matrilokal maupun neolokal hanya berbeda dalam hal jumlah belis, tetapi sesuai dengan sistem adat matrilineal Desa Aiteas, tidak ada perbedaan posisi laki-laki dan perempuan dalam keluarga.

Abstract

The use of internet especially social media was inevitable in today’s society. Using the internet effectively and in moderation can become a useful to get the job done efficiently. Inappropriate use of internet or social media can lead to lower performance, particularly if it had become an addiction. The purpose of this research was to test whether social media addiction influence performance with cyber loafing as intervening variable. This was a quantitative research with sample of 110 generation Y workers at MNC in Jakarta. The analysis technique used is path analysis. The result of this research showed that social media addiction is low, with moderate cyberloafing and high performance. The path analysis indicated that social media addiction positively influence cyberloafing, but social media addiction and cyberloafing did not influence employees’ performance. Therefore, Cyberloafing did not act as intervening variable. Different companies have different policies concerning the use of internet. Some company have a strict rule and demands their employees to be professional in a way to did not use their Mobile phone to access their social media or not to cater to their personal need during their working hours. Professionalism is needed by employees to survive in their job. The company demand to be as professional as employees can make them did not addict to their social media. So causes the result of this study that said there is no influence between cyberloafing a social media addiction toward employees’ performance.
