Jurnal Ilmiah Sekolah Dasar (JISD) adalah jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Pendidikan ganesha. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk mewadahi artikel-artikel hasil penelitian dan hasil pengabdian masyarakat dibidang pendidikan dan pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Pada akhirnya Jurnal ini dapat memberikan deskripsi tentang perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi di bidang pendidikan dasar bagi masyarakat akademik. Jurnal ini terbit 4 kali setahun (Februari, Mei, Agustus, November).

COVID-19 pandemic caused educational institutions apply remote distance learning policy. Zoom is one of popular platforms to optimize online learning through video conference. This study aimed to explore strengths and challenges of using Zoom to support distance English learning. A qualitative approach with narrative inquiry design was employed and students from a junior high school voluntarily participated. Interview was deployed as data collection methods, and the data were validated by triangulation and analyzed by following the interactive model analysis. The study reveals that learning English via Zoom help students to practice English, make teaching-learning process more effective, and facilitate the teacher-student interaction and communication. Moreover, features on Zoom support distance English learning. Those all benefits bring good impact on students’ English learning output. Meanwhile, Zoom is also challenging for students with slow internet connection and unsupported gadget. The activity also spends extra cost for internet bill and need conducive learning environment. It is suggested that government needs to provide better facilities to support online learning, such as providing good internet access.

Learning media has an important role in the implementation of learning in the current era of globalization. Therefore, we need an interactive learning media that can improve student learning outcomes. This study aims to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on animal life cycle material using video learning on animal life cycle material for fourth grade students. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) which adapts the CAR model from Kemmis and McTaggart. The subjects in this study were grade IV students, totaling 33 students. Data was collected using an instrument in the form of a cognitive test of learning outcomes. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a comparative descriptive method, namely by comparing the results from the pre-cycle stage to the second cycle. The results showed that the average score of students in the pre-cycle was 72 (33%) and the average in the first cycle was 80.30 (76%) and the second cycle average was 91.21 (90%). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of learning videos can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes for animal life cycle materials.

There are still many teachers who do not manage to create a fun learning environment for students. Moreover, the lack of learning media makes it difficult for students to understand the learning material. This study aims to develop a learning video using the VideoScribe app to facilitate students ' learning. Development research was employed in this study, while 4-D was used as the research model. One selected subject content expert, one selected learning design expert, one preferred learning media expert, and two chosen people for the individual trial became the subject of this study. Observation, interviews, and questionnaires had been utilized to collect the data. A questionnaire was the instrument used to gather the data. The validity of the study instrument was evaluated with the Gregory formula. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive statistics and quantitative descriptive statistics methods. The results showed that this study got a score of 1.00 with a very high product acceptability coefficient. It could be concluded that the developed media was feasible to be applied in learning. This study implied that the learning video made students more easily understand science subject matter.

The purpose of this study is to describe the school culture-based character education programs as a reinforcement of the citizenship character of students in elementary schools. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative by collecting data in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The research was conducted at SD N Ngrukeman Yogyakarta. Data analysis techniques using the triangulation of the Miles and Huberman methods. The results showed that the school culture-based character education programs as a reinforcement of the character of citizenship in students at SD N Ngrukeman Yogyakarta accustomed the main values of characters in the form of religious, nationalism, independent, mutual cooperation in various school cultural activities. In addition, there is support in the implementation of character education programs as an enhancer of the character of entrepreneurship in students at Ngrukeman Elementary School in Yogyakarta such as adequate infrastructure and teacher training. The conclusion of this article is that the school culture-based character education programs as a reinforcement of the citizenship character of students in elementary schools can be carried out with the cooperation of various parties in the school. The recommendation in this article is to be able to explore further about the school culture-based character education programs, especially in elementary schools.

Teacher performance was currently not optimal; this can be seen from the low learning outcomes of students. one of the factors that influence the success of teacher performance was the Principal's leadership. Therefore, research was conducted that aimed to analyze the Principal's leadership with the teacher's performance. The type of research conducted was descriptive qualitative. The data was collected by interviewing head master, 3 school staff and selected students from 2 students. The data collection methods used are interviews, observations, and documentation. Analysis of the data used analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results stated that good principal leadership in planning, organizing, deploying, coordinating, and supervising will affect teacher performance in performing designing tasks, carrying out learning, assessing learning, conducting guidance, and performing additional tasks. So, the Principal's leadership was good, then the teacher's performance was good, which directly affected the quality of learning. To improve teacher performance, the headmaster must conduct a supervised program to help teachers carried out their duties.

Less attractive learning media causes low interest in student learning. So, the need for concrete learning media following the stages of student development. This study aimed to create a valid and practical demonstration-based learning video on changing objects in the fifth grade of elementary school. This research is development research using the 4D model. The subjects of this study were two material experts, two media experts, two practitioners, and five students. The method used in data collection in this study is the rating scale method with an instrument in the form of a rating scale ranging from 1-4. The data obtained were analyzed by calculating the validity index of expert judgment and calculating the average response of practitioners and students. The analysis results showed that the material expert's validity index obtained the lowest score of 0.84 and the highest score was 1 with the very good category. The media expert validity index got the lowest score of 0.67 in the good category, and the highest score was 1, which is in the very good category. The overall average score of the practitioner's response was 3.82, and the student response was 3.78, which was in the very good category. Based on the results of this analysis, demonstration-based instructional video media on the topic of changing objects in fifth-grade elementary schools were declared good and suitable for use in the learning process.

This research was conducted because the students' science learning outcomes were not optimal during online learning using the WA group. Google classroom and virtual meetings using zoom are indispensable as a combination for implementing online learning using various platforms. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Gugus 6 Batubulan, Sukawati Gianyar, involving a sample of 92 class VI students using simple random sampling technique. Student learning outcomes data in science were collected by tests that had been tested for content validity, empirical validity, and reliability coefficient. The analysis technique used in this study is the one-way ANACOVA, that had been tested the normality of data distribution, linearity regression, and the homogeneity of variants. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in science learning outcomes between students who take online learning using a combination of google classroom and zoom, with students who take online learning using WA group after controlling the prior knowledge variable.

Pandemic Covid-19 has a big influence on various sectors, including the education sector. This makes educator make an innovation in the learning model, which combines a model of PBL-based google meet. The purpose of this study is to analyze the presence or absence of the influence of the PBL models based on google meet on the ability of mathematical problem solving in grade IV during distance learning. The type of research used by researchers, namely quantitative. With research design a quasi-experiment with posttest only group design. Subjects in this study were students of class IV as many as 64 students. Data collection techniques interviews and tests. While the research instrument in the form of a posttest. Data analysis used is descriptive analysis, test of homogeneity, normality test, hypothesis test (t-test), and test the effect size. The results showed that the average value of posttest experimental class of 76,25 higher than the control class that is 62,18. In hypothesis testing via t-test obtained the value of sig 0.47 that where the value is smaller than α=0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This means that there is influence of the use of PBL models based on google meet on the ability of mathematical problem solving in grade IV. So, the use of PBL models based on google meet can be applied to learning online

This research was conducted based on the lack of learning media that can be used through online and offline learning in the Covid-19 pandemic situation, limiting face-to-face learning. The main purpose of this study was to determine the development process and the validity of project-based learning-oriented animation videos on the theme of saving living things, especially on the topic of plant reproduction. The development of this animated video media used the ADDIE development model. The research subjects for developing project-based learning-oriented animation videos were two content experts, two learning design experts, two learning media experts, individual trials, and small group trials. The method of data collection was in the form of a questionnaire. The results of data analysis showed that the average score of material experts was 4.79 with very good qualifications, design experts 4.65 with very good qualifications, media experts at 4.62 with very good qualifications, individual tests of 4.8 with very good qualifications, and a small group test of 4.74 with very good qualifications. Thus, the overall validity of Project-Based Learning-oriented animation video media was in the range of 4.01 < X 5.01 with "very good" qualifications. So, Project-Based Learning-oriented animated video media on the theme of Save Living Creatures was feasible to use in learning.

The industrial revolution 4.0 and 21st-century skills leave fundamental problems in the implementation of 2013 curriculum teaching materials with an integrated thematic approach, including learning the art of music in elementary schools. It is very important for teachers to integrate technology into learning. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia in the form of a digital songbook as a support for integrated thematic teaching materials. The type of research that has been used is Research & Development which refers to the ADDIE process: 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, and 5) Evaluation. The subjects of this study were 4 (four) teachers and 100 elementary school students in the city of Padang. Data collection techniques and instruments were in the form of a questionnaire consisting of a validation questionnaire for validators and a practicality questionnaire given to teachers and students. The data analysis technique was obtained by taking the average results of product validation and practicality. The results showed that the average score of content and graphic validation was 84.1% in the appropriate category, while the average practicality score was 86.7%. Thus, the Digital Song Book is feasible and practical to use in learning the art of music as a support for integrated thematic teaching materials in elementary schools that meaningful for elementary students. The findings of this study have significant implications for designers and teachers, as well as multimedia researchers.Â
