Abstract

The low achievement of students' mathematics learning is due to the lack of students' understanding of the subject matter presented by the teacher and in the learning process, the teacher has not implemented an innovative learning model. This study aims to analyze the contextual learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade elementary school students. This research is a classroom action research that consists of two cycles. Each cycle has stages including the action planning stage, the implementation stage, the observation stage, and the reflection stage. In this study, a contextual learning model was used. The subjects of this study were 38 students of class V, consisting of 14 boys and 24 girls. Data collection methods used in this study were observation and multiple-choice tests. Data analysis in this study used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. In the results of the research in the first cycle, there was an increase in students' mathematics learning outcomes with an average value of 78.42 and a classical mastery percentage of 92%. The results of the research in the second cycle increased to 82.94 with a percentage of 100% classical completeness. This shows that the research target has been achieved in cycle two, namely the average value of student learning outcomes based on the PAP is in the high category. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of contextual learning models can improve mathematics learning outcomes for fifth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Lack of teacher ability to create fun learning and be accompanied by interesting learning media. This study aims to analyze the Jigsaw cooperative learning model assisted by video media to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade elementary school students. This type of research is classroom action research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of stages of planning, implementing actions, observing and evaluating, and reflecting. The implementation of the action in each cycle is three meetings. The subjects of this study were students of class IVA, totaling 26 people. Data collection in this study was carried out by the test method. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis method. The results showed that in the first cycle the average social studies learning outcomes were 80,77 in the high category. Furthermore, in the second cycle, the average social studies learning outcomes were obtained at 86,37 in the high category. Based on the calculation of the gain score, the quality of improving social studies learning outcomes in the first cycle was 0,16 with a low predicate and the second cycle was 0,46 with a moderate predicate. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the application of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by video media can improve social studies learning outcomes for fourth-grade elementary school students.

Abstract

There are still many young children whose ability to recognize number symbols has not developed optimally. This study aims to analyze the make a match learning model on cognitive development in recognizing number symbols in group A Kindergarten child. This research was classroom action research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles of action. The subjects of this study were group A1 kindergarten students, totaling 18 students, consisting of 8 girls and 10 boys. The observation method was used to collect data on cognitive development in recognizing number symbols. The instrument used in this study was an observation sheet. The data analysis method used is descriptive statistical analysis method and quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of data analysis in this study showed that there was an increase in the average percentage of cognitive development in recognizing number symbols in group A1 children of 15.25%. This can be seen from the increase in the average percentage of cognitive development in recognizing children's number symbols in the first cycle of 65.25% with moderate criteria to 80.50% in the second cycle with high criteria. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the make a match learning model can improve cognitive development in recognizing the number symbols of children in group A.

Abstract

Masih belum optimalnya perkembangan bahasa anak khususnya pada pengenalan huruf. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran think pair share berbantuan media kartu huruf terhadap kemampuan mengenal huruf pada anak kelompok B. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian ialah kelompok B3 TK yang berjumlah 27 anak terdiri dari 9 anak perempuan dan 18 anak laki-laki. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan bahasa anak dalam mengenal huruf. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan media observasi. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah metode analisis statistik deskriptif dan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan rata-rata presentase kemampuan bahasa mengenal huruf pada kelompok B3 sebesar 25.7% hal ini dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan rata-rata presentase kemampuan bahasa mengenal huruf anak pada siklus I sebesar 55.31% dengan kriteria rendah menjadi 81,01% pada siklus II dengan criteria tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media kartu huruf dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mengenal huruf kelompok B Taman Kanak-Kanak.

Abstract

Masih kurang maskinalnya perkembangan motorik halus pada anak usia 4-5 tahun.  Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bermain plastisin terhadap kemampuan motorik halus pada siswa TK kelompok A. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 orang anak yang terdiri dari 9 anak laki-laki dan 9 anak perempuan. Objek yang ditangani dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode observasi dengan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa lembar observasi dalam bentuk rubrik penskoran. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan motorik halus melalui bermain plastisin. Pada siklus I capaian kemampuan motorik halus sebesar 57.62%, sehingga menunjukkan pada kategori rendah kemudian mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 81.56 % pada kategori tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui bermain plastisin, kemampuan motorik halus anak kelompok A Taman Kanak-Kanak dapa meningkat.

Abstract

Students' problems in writing explanatory texts start from understanding the structures of explanatory texts, determining topics, making themes so that they become an essay outline, to developing an essay outline that is directed at making texts. In addition, students' interest in writing is still low. The purpose of this study was to analyze the problem-based learning model on the quality of explanation text learning in English subjects for high school students. This research is qualitative. This study uses a problem-based learning model based on lesson study. There are three stages carried out in lesson study activities, namely: planning (plan), implementation (do), and reflection (see). The subjects selected were 11th-grade students in high school. The results showed that giving the text model to students, dissecting the text, and summarizing the text could be followed by students smoothly, however, 15 minutes to respond to the content of the video presented was felt to be lacking. In general, student participation was good during the learning activities, and the skills that were trained were also successfully seen from the worksheet results. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the problem-based learning model based on lesson study is considered effective in teaching explanation text in high school students.

Abstract

Students who are less enthusiastic in participating in learning both individually and in groups and the teacher's inability to apply learning models that can create interesting and fun learning. The purpose of the study was to analyze the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectual (SAVI) learning model with the aid of an icebreaker on the science learning outcomes of class V students. This study was quasi-research with a non-equivalent post-test-only group design. This study used a population of all students of class V, which amounted to 128 people. Based on the random sampling technique, the sample was assigned to the experimental group, namely class V with 25 students, and the control group, namely class V with 25 students. The data collection method used is the test method, namely a multiple-choice test, totaling 30 questions. The data that has been collected is then processed with descriptive and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the study, it is known that the average science learning outcomes obtained by the experimental group are greater than the control group (18.34>15.78). The results of the t-test showed tcount 3,598 and ttable with a significance level of 5% obtained 2,021. Based on the test results tcount > ttable (3.598 > 2.021), so Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, Intellectualy assisted learning model with the help of icebreaker on the science learning outcomes of fifth-grade students.

Abstract

Learning is still dominated by teachers using lectures and teacher learning tools are still not good. This study aims to produce learning tools in the form of lesson plans with the think pair share (TPS) model in the science subject with the theme Kayanya Negeriku for fourth-grade elementary school. This research is development research based on the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, due to time constraints. and conditions that do not support this research only to the development stage. The results of the analysis of the development of learning devices with the think pair share (TPS) model obtained the following results: the content validity of the instrument was 1, 00 with the interpretation of "very high", the reliability of the instrument obtained a practicality coefficient of 100%, and the validation of learning devices with an average of 4,67 with "very good" interpretation. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the validity of the Development of Learning Devices with the Think Pair Share (TPS) Model in the Science Subjects of Kayanya Negeriku Theme Class IV Elementary School is declared valid and suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

There is no recent research that examines the results of research on the Visualization Auditory Kinesthetic learning model on science learning outcomes at the elementary school level. This study aims to analyze the influence of the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic (VAK) learning model on science learning outcomes in elementary schools. The method used is a meta-analysis of a narrative review or systematic review by analyzing the results of research that have been published nationally related to the use of the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic model of learning outcomes in science in elementary schools. The sample of analysis is five journals that have been published in the period 2013-2020, which discuss the writing of experiments using the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic model of science learning outcomes. The approach used is descriptive quantitative, namely calculating the effect size by identifying the mean, standard deviation, and variance of the t-test calculation. The writing instrument is a coding sheet that summarizes the data and journal information. Based on the results of the overall effect analysis, the average value of the influence is 3.67, which means that it is in the large effect category. The analysis findings also show that the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning model provides an effective influence in terms of the area and the dependent variable as well as the learning media used. In each article that has been analyzed for the effect size, there are differences in the results of the Visual Auditory Kinesthetic learning model which is assisted by learning media, and those that are not assisted by learning media. learn science in elementary school.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the students' scores in learning mathematics on the subject of cube and block shapes and students' interest in mathematics. This study aims to analyze the model of environmental-based constructivism in mathematics learning materials for building blocks and cubes in elementary schools. The design of this research is a quantitative descriptive research design that is directed to analyze the application of the environmental-based constructivism learning model conducted by teachers in mathematics. Interview, observation, and documentation methods are data collection techniques used by researchers. Validation of data using triangulation of sources and techniques. While the data analysis technique is by collecting, reducing, presenting, and drawing conclusions of data. The results showed that there was a fairly good increase from 10 students who scored well to 18 students who had good grades so that if the percentage was made, it was 78,3% for students with good grades and 21,7% for children whose grades were not good or not. can meet the KKM. Based on the results of these studies, it can be concluded that the use of environmental-based constructivism learning models can influence student learning outcomes well.
