Abstract

This study aims to assess the extent to which social support, optimism, religiosity, and self-esteem contribute to the subjective well-being of teachers in SMPNs across Mendoyo District. Additionally, it seeks to determine the combined impact of these factors on teachers' subjective well-being. This study is an "ex post facto" research study conducted with a sample size of 164 individuals. Information was gathered through the use of questionnaires and documents. The data analysis was conducted using simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation approaches. The research findings indicate a strong association (correlation coefficient of 0.319) and a notable contribution (16.11%) of social support to the subjective well-being of teachers in SMPNs in the Mendoyo District. (2) A notable distinction exists between optimism and the subjective well-being of instructors in SMPN within Mendoyo District, as evidenced by a correlation coefficient of 0.364 and a substantial contribution of 18.05%. (3) There is a strong relationship between how religious teachers are and how satisfied they feel in SMPN schools in Mendoyo District. This relationship is measured by a correlation coefficient of 0.519, indicating a moderate positive correlation. Religiosity accounts for 37.66% of the variation in teachers' subjective well-being. (4) There is a strong relationship between the self-esteem and subjective well-being of instructors in SMPN throughout Mendoyo District. The correlation coefficient is 0.387, indicating a substantial connection. Additionally, self-esteem accounts for 19.98% of the overall impact on subjective well-being. (5) The study found a strong relationship between social support, optimism, religiosity, and self-esteem with the subjective well-being of SMPN teachers in Mendoyo District. The multiple correlation coefficient was 0.960, indicating a high degree of association. These factors accounted for 92.44% of the variation in the subjective well-being of SMPN teachers across Mendoyo District.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of self-control and interest in learning economics on the learning outcomes of economics students in grade XII IPS SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. The type of research used in causal research and the type of data used use a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used in the study used questionnaire and documentation methods. The sample used was 89 respondents. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The data analysis techniques used in the study were multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumption test, t hypothesis test, F hypothesis test, and determination coefficient. The results of the study showed that (1) self-control had a significant positive effect on learning outcomes, (2) learning interest had a positive effect on learning outcomes, and (3) the influence of self-control and learning interest had a significant positive effect on learning outcomes. This can be seen from the results of multiple linear regression with an X1 value of 0.461 and an X2 value of 0.611. The results of the t-test of the self-control variable have a significant value of 0.001 less than 0.05, which means that H1 is accepted, and the results of the t-test of the learning interest variable have a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means that H2 is accepted, and the result of the F test has a significance value of 0.000 less than 0.05, which means that H3 is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of education level, motivation, business capital, and entrepreneurial characteristics on the performance of culinary sector MSMEs in the Buleleng Sub-district, both partially and simultaneously. The design of this study is causal quantitative. The population in this study was 168 MSMEs in the culinary sector with 63 respondents. The sample determination used a purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out using the questionnaire distribution method. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is a significant effect of education level; (2) there is a significant effect of motivation; (3) there is a significant effect of business capital; and (4) there is a significant effect of entrepreneurial characteristics on the performance of culinary sector MSMEs in Buleleng District, both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of digital marketing and digital payment on purchasing decisions at the Shopee Marketplace by students of the Faculty of Economics, Undiksha. This research is quantitative causal research. The population used in this study was a student of the Faculty of Economics, semester 1.3, 5, and 7, a total of 2,747 students. The sampling technique used in this study was Proportional Random Sampling with a total sample of 190 respondents. The method of data collection in this study is the dissemination of questionnaires. The data analysis used in this study is a double linear regression analysis. The results of this study are: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of digital marketing variables on purchasing decisions, (2) digital payment variables have a significant and positive influence on buying decisions, and (3) digital marketing and digital payments simultaneously have a positive, significant impact on purchase decisions.

Abstract

In various developing countries, such as Indonesia, they still face problems related to economic growth or unemployment. This research aims to understand the effect of population growth on economic growth and unemployment rates in Jayapura City. In this research, the dependent variable is the open unemployment rate, the independent variable is population growth, and the intervening variable is economic growth. The data analysis used in this research is population growth versus economic growth. This research uses secondary data from Jayapura City for 5 years as measured by BPS, namely from 2017-2022, using a qualitative approach. These results show that economic growth influences the level of poverty, and increasing economic growth can reduce the level of poverty, as well as unemployment, which can influence the level of poverty, with high levels of unemployment affecting economic growth and unemployment simultaneously. The results of the study show that economic growth, partially or individually, has a significant effect on poverty levels. In addition, partial or individual unemployment has no effect on poverty levels. However, economic growth and unemployment simultaneously or together affect poverty levels.

Abstract

Implementing the independent learning curriculum is a form of evaluation of the previous curriculum, namely the 2013 curriculum; the independent curriculum was launched to catch up with education during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to describe the implementation of the independent learning curriculum. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data sources in this research are primary data, namely teachers, school principals, curriculum assistants, and students. Secondary data are documents and field photos. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman interactive model: data collection, data display, data reduction, and conclusion. This research shows that the independent learning curriculum has gone well and smoothly, but teachers need some help implementing it. Disadvantages relate to teachers being required to strive for a more creative learning process and the obstacles they face, namely difficulties in cultivating interest in learning, limited references, uneven access to learning, and time management. To overcome the barriers to the independent learning curriculum, schools and teachers can utilize the independent teaching platform and facilitate learning for citizens by reaching digital access and internet networks.

Abstract

This paper describes the existence of an Islamic full-day school in Jayapura City based on community perceptions and aspirations. This research is descriptive-analytical using the snowball sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the Islamic full-day school in Jayapura City is a private educational institution that implements a full-day school system. The curriculum implements a combination of general and religious material, as well as flagship activity programs. The management is professional, new, and has a high work ethic. Moreover, it has expensive costs and representative facilities. In people's perceptions, this institution combines general and religious materials, has expensive costs with very representative facilities, and has excellent programs, especially in religiousness. Therefore, it is considered necessary. Nevertheless, there is also a view that Islamic full-day school is not necessary because it is considered only for the upper-middle-class economy; long learning causes children to be bored, saturated, physically weak, and unconcentrated, as well as have negative consequences for children. The Islamic full-day school model, which has good quality based on community expectations, is an Islamic full-day school that is well-managed and more professional with affordable costs by cooperating with the government, parents, and donors in order that it can be enjoyed by all groups. Development and improvement of the quality of professional teachers and staff who are in their fields and better facilities and programs.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the influence of price and product quality on purchasing decisions for iPhone brand cellphones among students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study were active students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The sampling technique used in this research was nonprobability sampling, or saturated sampling, so that the sample used was 96 students from the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha. The data collection method in this research uses the observation method and interview method as well as the questionnaire method with a Likert scale. Data processing in this research uses the SPSS version 25 for Windows program. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with partial (t test) and simultaneous (F test) hypothesis testing. The results of this research show that (1) price has a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase an iPhone brand cellphone among students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, (2) product quality has a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase an iPhone brand cellphone among students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha, and (3) price and product quality simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the decision to purchase an iPhone brand cellphone among students at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Pendidikan Ganesha.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline variables, motivation, compensation, and work environment on employee productivity at PT Kresna Karya Basecamp Akah Klungkung. The population in this study were employees of PT Kresna Karya Basecamp Akah Klungkung. The number of samples used in this study was 45 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was simple random sampling technique using the Slovin formula. The data in the study were collected by distributing questionnaires. Data processing in this study was done using the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program version 25. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with partial (t test) and simultaneous (F test) hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that (1) work discipline affects employee work productivity, (2) motivation affects employee work productivity, (3) compensation affects employee work productivity, (4) the work environment affects employee work productivity, and (5) work discipline, motivation, compensation, and the work environment simultaneously affect employee work productivity at PT Kresna Karya Basecamp Akah Klungkung.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using Kahoot learning media on the learning outcomes of accounting basics significantly. This research design is a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The population in this study is 106 class X students majoring in Accounting and Financial Institutions in 2023/2024, with a total sample of 70 students divided into 2 groups, namely 35 experimental class students and 35 control class students. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in the study used study test results, interviews, and documents. The data were analyzed by paired sample t-test. The results of this study show that the use of Kahoot learning media has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of the basics of accounting for grade X students majoring in Accounting and Financial Institutions at SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja.
