Abstract

This study aims to determine the spiritual behavior of patients rehabilitating drugs. This discussion is entitled "Spiritual Counseling Guidance to Rehabilitation Patients". This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach that is observation, an interview. The results showed that the implementation of the rehabilitation of the Patients of Drugs can also be in the form of personality by providing guidance and counseling on the spiritual aspect which includes the aspect of Prayer Fulfillment performed by the five subjects are conducted simultaneously namely the practice of worship, the belief of life (Universality) as well as the responsibility of their life (Linkage) they have fully undergone as rehabilitation patients. There are an attitude and mental change from a previously dependent patient to a person who can manage himself well and more appreciate the meaning of life.

Abstract

The self-adjustment ability on campus is an important requirement of studenteducation success. Therefore students should have good adjustment skills. This study aims to determine the adjustment ability and religious commitment of students in the campus IAIN Antasari, and to know the influence of religious commitment to student self-adjustment. The method used is quantitative method, with simple linear regression analysis. The research subjects were IAIN Antasari students in each faculty, and 236 students were selected as samples. The results showed that there was a significant positive religious commitment influence on the students self adjustment at IAIN Antasari (R = 0.699 (r = 0.000)). Each dimension of religious commitment also has a significant positive effect on students self-adjustment. The influence of religious belief dimension (R = 0.484 (r = 0.000)), religious practice dimension (R = 0.596 (r = 0.000)), religious knowledge dimension (R = 0.613 = 0.000)), and religious effect dimension (R = 0.689 (r = 0.000)) on students’ self-adjustment. It shows that the higher the religious commitment of the students, the better the students self-adjustment. Therefore, the religious commitment of students is very important to be improved so that the students self-adjustment will be better.

Abstract

Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique (SEFT) is engineering the merger of the energy system of the body and spirituality therapy using the method of tapping on certain points on the body. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique in improving the quality of life in women who experienced landslide disaster in Purworejo. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design research model. The subjects of this study were six women in Purworejo with criteria aged 20 to 40 years, experienced landslide disaster, and having a low quality of life based on WHOQOL-BREF scale categorization. The experimental group was treated using the Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique therapy. Quantitative data analysis techniques using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test analysis. Qualitative data analysis is obtained from the observation, interview, worksheet, and evaluation sheet. The results showed that there was a significant increase in quality of life, both in each domain and overall between before and after being treated by SEFT. Based on that results, it can be concluded that the SEFT (Spiritual Emotional Freedom Technique) can improve the quality of life of women who experienced a landslide disaster in Purworejo.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to know the connection of Sufi spiritual behavior with mental health in the form of well-being performed by the spiritual Sufi path. This article explores Sufi spiritual behavior with regard to mental health in the form of well-being that comes from literature.The method used in this research is qualitative research in the literature review. How to collect research data by researchers by writing, classifying and monitoring subjects of research studies carried out by researchers. Moreover, researchers conducting a survey of data collected related to the subject matter of the research is a spiritual relationship to mental health.The results of the literary research show that mystical spiritual behavior towards mental health, especially in the field of well-being, remains controversial. Sufi spiritual behavior has a positive effect. On the other hand, there are also results that mystic behavior has a negative effect. This incident occurred because of misunderstanding or perception of Sufi teachings, or lack of good guidance for the person in taking the Sufi path.

Abstract

Students’ pressures while working on their undergraduate thesis caused psychological impact called stress. The researcher was intended to find out whether any roles of the Quran as a guideline for Muslims reducing the stress level. It is a field research with a quantitative experimental approach which used two groups(pre-test- post-test) design with two variables: training of meaning and reading verses of the Quran (X) and stress level (Y). The subjects were 12 students divided into 6 students in each of experimental and control group. The experimental group used paired samples t-test and got a p-value of 0,035, p <0,05 means there was a difference of scores between pretest and post-test. The control group obtained a p-value of 0.849, p <0.05 means there was no difference in scores between pretest and post-test. Based on the results of different test analysis using independent samples t-test obtained the p-value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.01 showed that there is a significant difference in stress level between the two groups. The results indicate that the training of meaning and reading of Quranic verses can reduce the stress level of students who are working on an undergraduate thesis in the Islamic Psychology Study Program of the State Islamic University of Antasari Banjarmasin.
