Abstract

Prambontergayang Village, located in Soko District, Tuban Regency, is a village that is well known for the production of Rengginang snacks in the Soko sub-district. has the Urnika brand, the IRT has been established since 2015 and received PIRT (Household Industry Food) legality in 2018. The problems that occur with these IRTs are financial and bookkeeping management which are still carried out by recording in books or manually, repair solutions that offered is VBA Macro excel-based bookkeeping and finance training. The implementation method carried out in community service first examines the problems found in IRT by means of surveys to IRT locations, then examines solutions to these problems and is implemented with training. The results of community service are proven to be able to increase the productivity of IRT rengginang craftsmen in Prambonterga village, which is in Soko District, Tuban Regency, and IRT are able to independently manage finances well and improve time efficiency when reporting finances.

Abstract

Packaging design and digital advertising are an important part of product marketing. Unique product design, will be an added value for consumers to consider buying a product and digital markets provide information for consumers that cannot be reached by traditional markets so that producers are able to expand market share, therefore the focus of the PKM that the author will do is provide training to the industry the household industry (IRT) Urnika Snacks Rengginang in Prambontergayang Village, Soko District, Tuban Regency, IRT Urnika Snacks Rengginang is widely known in the environment around the sub-district, but the sales that IRT do are still in the traditional way and the IRT packaging is still wrapped in plastic. The method of implementing PKM was carried out using a participatory approach (participatory action research/PAR). We carry out this service program to provide training on the importance of digital advertising supported by unique packaging designs to increase IRT marketing. Service activities regarding packaging design and digital advertising are expected to be able to help Rengginang IRT Prambontergayang Village in marketing snack products so that they can increase the income of the IKM Rengginang.

Abstract

Coffee is a potential commodity in Tegalsari, Menoreh Hills, Kulonprogo. Despite the potential for development, proper "black gold" cultivation activities; such as red picking, post-harvest handling, roasting, marketing and brewing methods have not yet become a culture among coffee farmers. Therefore, empowerment of coffee farmers through training is important. The research method and empowerment strategy were carried out using Participatory Action Research (PAR) procedures. The strategy of empowering coffee farmers was carried out through a process of adaptive, collaborative, and interactive with coffee farmers and enthusiasts as well as the local community of Menoreh. The three strategies are used to find a meeting point between the socio-cultural system of the coffee farming community and the coffee-loving community as stakeholders. The results of the analysis of the living conditions of coffee farmers in Tegalsari showed that the main problem for farmers to develop the coffee business is knowledge and technology. Based on these conditions, training was conducted for coffee farmers with materials; cultivation, post-harvest and brewing. The results of the training showed that the farmers were generally enthusiastic in participating in the training. There was an increase in knowledge based on the pre-test and post-test results. The key to increasing the income of coffee farmers is when they can unite the upstream activities of cultivation and post-harvest with the downstream activities of processing, roasting and brewing or in the expression bringing coffee "seko alas mlebu gelas" (from the field in the forest to the glass).

Abstract

Reading skills, which are basically the main capital in exploring knowledge as well as skills in students, are often overlooked or even ignored. Teachers and parents who realized this too late became the forerunners of the long tail of dyslexic students' problems, which also affected their scholastic skills. By conducting this research, the researchers hope that it will be possible to increase or at least improve the quality of life for the people of Dau village, especially the younger generation, and gain insight for parents and teachers in taking action regarding dyslexic students. This research used descriptive qualitative research. This research was conducted at SDN 01 Selorejo, Dau District, Malang Regency, East Java Province. The results of the study concluded that there were two factors that influenced the personalities of the students, namely internal factors and external factors. The most influential internal factors in the student learning process are motivation, interests, and attitudes. while the external factors are the school environment, family environment, and community environment.

Abstract

This research purpose to provide efforts to improve the education quality of human resources especially students of MI Mathaul Anwar Geledug Karacak Leuwiliang. The urgency of this research is the inequality and limited access facilities to improve the quality of human resources so that additional learing is needed which is spearheaded by the youth community in Bogor Regency. The research method used is qualitative with field research observing how the activities and series of sekolah alam are carried out. Plus, I took advantage of sekolah alam Jong Bobar activities for observing. As for some of the activities Sekolah Alam such as including English classes, local history, literacy, and so on. Even though additional classes outside formal schools, there are obstacles to implementing such as limited funds, time, and low awareness of students and student guardians. However, on the other hand, there is a significant impact from the sekolah alam on the fourthgrade students of MI Mathlaul Anwar, namely intelligence, knowledge, and courage. This is caused by an effective teaching method in which we use joyful learning and gamification. Therefore, with this method we do devotion and build the village through improving the quality of education for MI Mathlaul Anwar students.

Abstract

Kebonagung Village, Gresik Regency has extraordinary natural potential. The fertile soil makes Kebonagung one of the centers for producing quality limes. However, due to various reasons, such as the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, sales of limes have decreased. That’s why, adaptations are needed so the sustainability of this potential is maintained. One alternative is to conduct socialization and training on lime processing for the community. This processing involves many elements of society, such as farmers, village governments, and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). BUMDes has an important role in maximizing the marketing of community products. This training processes limes into high-value products such as syrup, ice cream, and soap. In addition to reducing the waste generated from unsold limes, this also increases the selling value of products made by the community. The enthusiasm of PKK members was also seen. The PKK women (Family Welfare Empowerment) want to make the experiment done by the students of KKN (Community Service Program) of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta into one of the village products worthy of being marketed. Community involvement is important so the community is not only an object in empowerment but also becomes a subject in this empowerment program.

Abstract

The existence of a pandemic requires education to transform face-to-face learning into online learning. This condition forces all elements to adapt quickly, including students with visual impairments. This study aims to explore the experiences of students with visual disabilities during online learning during the pandemic. A qualitative research approach with a descriptive case study method was chosen as the approach in this study. Research data was collected by conducting structured interviews with open questions to 15 students with visual disabilities at UIN Sunan Kalijaga. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using thematic analysis according to Braun and Clarke, namely re-reading the data, coding, searching for themes, reviewing themes, determining a definite theme, and writing the results of the analysis. Data validity uses re-checking of information to respondents. The findings reveal that students with visual disabilities have had various experiences, both negative and positive experiences while carrying out online learning during the pandemic. The results of this study emphasize educational institution stakeholders to involve the voice and participation of students with visual disabilities in designing learning to have adequate accessibility.
