Abstract

The research was conducted to see the trend of supply of students studying at the Interdisciplinary Faculty, Tourism Destination D4 Study Program. The algorithm used in the student supply process is K-means. Data processing with the K-means algorithm helps extract information and knowledge from student data in the Interdisciplinary Faculty, D4 Tourism Destination Study Program. By using data mining, stakeholders in the Interdisciplinary Faculty, D4 Tourism Destination Study Program, can take strategic steps in the screening process in provinces that are indicated to supply students. The K-means algorithm facilitates the process of data analysis and grouping of student data for 4 years. The purpose of this research is to provide an accurate and strategic picture of the provinces that can have a significant impact on the supply of students each year. The results showed that the largest supply of students came from Central Java and the smallest from Bangka Belitung, West Sulawesi, Banten, East Kalimantan, West Papua, Bengkulu and Riau, so promotion strategies need to be improved in areas with the smallest student supply.

Abstract

Mancore or also called core management is data management whose activities include recording data slots and fiber optic ports from the center to the ODC. The problem found at this time is that mancore data searches are carried out manually by ftm technicians in several telegram groups or in spreadsheets and are not stored in one database, so that incomplete mancore data is often found when technicians search in telegram groups. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to have a special application to store and search for mancore data. The new core management information system design uses a CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) system, based on Android Mobile Application, and Firebase as its realtime database. Meanwhile, in making the design, it uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). With the creation of this core management information system application, it is hoped that it will make it easier for technicians to search for mancore data when making repairs, additions, and maintenance of fiber optic networks. because mancore data can be accessed in one application and mancore data can be accessed in real time in one database.

Abstract

Online learning is an option during the Covid-19 pandemic by utilizing the Google Meet application as a liaison for online learning. Therefore, this study measures the acceptance of learning technology in the network, especially using the Google Meet application using the UTAUT 2 model. This study aims to see what things affect the acceptance of online learning. This model uses several variables, namely Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions, Hedonic Motivation, Price Value, and Habit. This study uses a survey quantitative approach to collect data and analyze data using Structural Equation Modeling. In this study, three accepted hypotheses were obtained, namely H4, H7 and H8 and four were not accepted, namely H1, H2, H3 and H6.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has brought changes to almost all aspects of human life, especially activities in the world of education. One of the vital things in the world of education is the final school exam which is always held at the end of each semester. The process of the School Final Examination or UAS which is carried out manually in this school has several shortcomings and problems. The main problem is the matter of school fees and expenses when carrying out UAS. This is due to the increase in the price of stationery and the number of new students entering. The design of this system is nothing but to help reduce expenses caused by the ATK costs which continue to increase every year. This design uses FEAF as a research model. The FEAF model is a conceptual model that formulates organizational goals and visions in a documented manner and has a coordinated structure between business lines between departments. Business, information needed to support business, technology to support business operations, and the process of moving from old technology to new technology can be done with this framework.

Abstract

The development of increasingly advanced technology can help in the work, so that it can be done more quickly and easily. One of them is scheduling subjects using genetic algorithms. Genetic algorithm is a technique to find the best solution from several solutions so that it gets the best results according to the stopping criteria if it has done 10 experiments and reached 100 generations. This study uses teacher data, subject data, and time. The results of the study provide a list of optimal schedules with the highest fitness score of 1, where teachers do not have teaching hours at the same time. The system can assist in solving existing problems, which can process data to carry out the scheduling process.

Abstract

The process of developing a decision support system for accepting computer laboratory assistants uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) methods. for the criteria weighting process and the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method for the alternative ranking process. The results of the weighting of the criteria that have been calculated, the TOPSIS method is used for the alternative ranking process.

Abstract

The North Coast area of Pekalogan City is an area that has great potential for tidal flooding. Some experts say that the geographical condition of Pekalongan City has a high level of vulnerability to global warming. The high value of vulnerability is inseparable from the geomorphological conditions of Pekalongan in the form of sandy beaches and coastal erosion. Due to these conditions, Pekalongan City has become one of the areas affected by the tidal flood. The problem of tidal flooding is not a new problem for Pekalongan City, especially in the North Pekalongan part. In the design of this system will apply the agile `method. In the design of this system will apply the Agile method. In terms of software development guidelines, agile has an understanding that actively and continuously, between developers and customers must always establish good cooperation and communication. This research was conducted using a Geographic Information System (GIS). The integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology will provide convenience and advantages in effectively identifying, mapping, and organizing data over a large area. This study aims to make it easier for the people of Pekalongan City to identify areas prone to tidal flooding. This system can open a map of tidal flood-prone areas in Pekalongan City. Based on the results of the questionnaire calculation using a Likert scale, it can be concluded that this system has a good appearance, the layout of this system is easy to understand, this system helps in getting information about the threat of tidal waves in Pekalongan City, and this system is in accordance with what respondents expected because the percentage of index value more than 80% in each question.

Abstract

Artificial Neural Network Backpropagation is known as one of the methods that can calculate accurately in predicting. The algorithm used in this study is the Backpropagation algorithm, with gold price data as input data for training data. The price of gold is a separate issue in the market, as a precious metal that can be used for investment. Gold is also one of the main commodities that are in great demand by investors because it is considered profitable. Unlike the currency exchange rate, gold investment is for the long term. The price of gold continues to increase in the world market so that many investors are interested in investing in gold. In predicting the price of gold, an accurate method is needed to do so, because of that the author uses one of the prediction methods from ANN (Artificial Neural Networks) namely the Backpropagation Algorithm. This case study is secondary data that already exists. The input variables are open, high, low. The output of this gold price prediction is price. This bacpropagation training process uses Matlab R2015a software with network architecture with the MSE (Mean Square Error) result is 0.0034849.

Abstract

Electronic components are objects that are supporting parts of an electronic circuit that can operate according to their application. Among them are PCB boards, resistors, transistors, and many more. In assembling a series of students, additional components are often needed which are caused by errors in assembling a circuit. An error in assembling causes a component to be damaged, because the electronic component given by the lecturer is only once. Based on the explanation above, a solution can be found in the form of the application of vending machines for electronic components that can be applied in certain places, such as in the Telecommunication Engineering lab of the Indonesian National Police.  Vending machine is a machine that can accommodate certain objects and can eject them automatically with a trigger programed by the designer, in this case electronic components are used as objects that will be removed from the box. With this tool aims to make it easier for students to get electronic components for free practically and not spend a lot of time, they can use Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) as a detection tool on the vending machine. This research uses RFID technology where, when the user wants to take one of the components of the vending machine, the user must have an RFID-based card that has been previously made so that it can proceed to the next stage, namely component retrieval.

Abstract

Promotion plays an important role for every employee in the workplace, because promotion can offer changes in social status, authority, responsibility and increase in income to every employee who is given the opportunity. In the process of promotion to the position of the DKI Jakarta Province Population and Civil Registry Service, criteria are needed in making a decision. Promotion decisions require different considerations of many different factors and suggestions must be made objectively, if the wrong decision is taken during the promotion process, it will have a negative impact on employees and the Agency. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied to examine the effect of each criterion in determining promotions to obtain accurate results in determining the best and most appropriate criteria. The results showed that the "Employee educational background" criterion was the most important criterion for promotion. The results of processing survey data using the AHP method and the Expert Choice survey are not much different from one another. The AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method can determine promotion selection.
