Abstract

The purpose of this study was to classify using the C4.5 algorithm to determine student understanding of online lectures at the SWCU Information Technology Faculty. In carrying out lecture activities where students must conduct online lectures, students are expected to be able to understand all the material provided. Many things affect student understanding in digesting online lecture material. The data was taken from the questionnaire results from the 2019 SWCU Information Technology Faculty student. The five attributes used were the learning atmosphere, learning tools, communication, teaching methods, and networking. The research method used is the C4.5 algorithm which builds a decision tree using RapidMiner software. Based on the results of the study, there were 27 rules  with 18 rules understood rules . In the case of students' level of understanding in online classes, the accuracy rate reaches 70%, which means that students quite understand the courses presented online.

Abstract

The emergence of computer-based and mobile-based social networks seems to have received high attention from the public. Evidenced by the increasing number of social networks that appear. Friendster, Facebook, Twitter, Linkd In and many others. Twitter is one of the social media used to find information, Twitter users generally report every activity. They are even more helped by the existence of increasingly sophisticated cellphones. The system created in this study to optimize the analysis of informative and uninformative sentiment using a rapid miner application with the Naïve Bayes, Naïve Bayes + Adaboost, SVM, and SVM PSO methods using data taken from twitter @infoBMKG. The research method used is the collection of tweet data from twitter taken by the Crawling method. The data taken is tweets in Indonesian with a total of 1,000 tweets from the @infoBMKG twitter account. The results of the nave Bayes algorithm test carried out in this study were to measure the performance of accuracy, precision, recall, AUC from the results of the training and submission of datasets that had gone through the data preprocessing process. From the results of the research that has been done, it is proven that the optimization of informative and uninformative sentiment analysis from tweets on BMKG's twitter gets good results using the Support Machine Vector method with higher Accuracy, Recall, and AUC values than other methods.

Abstract

The Garut Regency Food Security Service is in charge of evaluating and reporting on food availability or insecurity, distribution, food reserves, consumption, food diversification and food security in Garut Regency, including overcoming food insecurity and community nutrition. In carrying out its duties of delivering information to the public using a WEB-based information system, namely the FOOD SECURITY AND NUTRITION SYSTEM (SKPG), but this system can only convey general information regarding official profiles, activities, news articles, announcements. There are no system features available for managing rice price data, community nutrition data, planting area data and harvest failure data in Garut district that can be done by the department.With the limited features contained in this system, it makes it difficult for the department to manage data and information. So as a solution this research aims to develop a web-based information system with data and information management features from the user side, namely the operator and the community. This study aims to build a web-based information system so that the Garut Regency Food Security Service can help the community and government ranks to provide information and obtain activity data, potential and advantages including rice price data, community nutrition data, planting area data and harvest failure data in Garut Regency. , which can be accessed easily and quickly by the public. The web-based information system is designed using UML, with the implementation using the PHP Native programming language, HTML and MySQL database, as well as the Waterfall system development process model.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on tourist visits and hospitality has been enormous in various countries. This is due to social restriction policies and risks related to health. The purpose of this study is to prove quantitatively whether there are differences in the level of visits by foreign tourists and the occupancy rates of hotel rooms in Indonesia before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses 4 years of secondary data obtained from BPS from 2018 to 2022. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive using a nonparametric statistical tool, namely the Wilcoxon Signes-Ranks Test. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the level of foreign tourist visit and hotel rooms occupancy rates in Indonesia before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. It can also be proven that there were differences in the hotel rooms occupancy rates in Indonesia before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on national data in Indonesia, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic can reduce the level of foreign tourist visits and the occupancy rate of hotel rooms. This research recommends various innovative ways to deal with the negative impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the tourism and hospitality industry.

Abstract

The most important stage in making a mobile application is designing an attractive display design. The Only One Cloth store still uses social media to sell products, besides that the factors that are still limited to the Only One Cloth Store are the lack of payment system organization and descriptions, therefore an application display that is needed by the store and potential users is made. The user interface (UI) is a form of graphical display that relates to potential users. User Interface works to connect users with the operating system on the computer so that prospective users can use it easily. Making the application display uses the iterative Design Thinking method where we try to understand the user, challenge assumptions, and redefine the problem in an effort to find alternative strategies and solutions. The Design Thinking method consists of five stages, namely Emphatize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test. At the Test stage, a test will be carried out on the value given to the task from the application display that has been made. The values that have been collected will be tested using the Single Ease Question (SEQ) method and get a value of 6.4 from the total tasks that have been assessed, if one task has a value of 5.5 then it must be iterated again. Judging from the SEQ results from the appearance of the application that is made feasible 6.4 then the appearance of the application is already easy to use by potential users

Abstract

Indonesia, namely, an archipelagic country that has a variety of cultures and so many tribes. But most of us don't realize that. For this reason, we need to cultivate a sense of nationalism and love for the homeland from an early age, especially young people in Indonesia. Most people in the school environment only use books to study it and only make students bored quickly. There are many ways that teachers or parents must do by using a mobile phone. The development of the mobile phone, media, which is one part of a medium for delivering information, which is currently an alternative new method that can be used as a means of delivering information in an attractive, easily accessible, and clear form. It can also help all people to know the various cultures in Indonesia. Therefore, an android-based application was made, namely the Application of the Linear Congruential Generator Algorithm in the Introduction to Culture in Indonesia, in order to help and make it easier to find out about culture in Indonesia. The Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method is a randomization algorithm used to generate a random number (Random Number). From the results of the research that has been carried out, it shows that the Linear Congruential Generator (LCG) method is very effectively applied in randomizing letters and questions.

Abstract

Moonlight Store is a business engaged in the sale of herbal medicines. Currently, the competition between MSMEs is considered very high so that it can threaten the Moonlight store's business process. The Moonlight store needs to take advantage of the development of information technology and develop a strategy that is in accordance with the vision and mission of the Moonlight store. The process of formulating an information system strategy in this study uses the be-vissta planning model. This model applies technical analysis so that it can then develop a strategic information system plan that can be applied to Moonlight stores to face business competition.

Abstract

Fire disasters often occur due to various factors, one of which is public negligence and lack of anticipation to prevent fires from occurring. In most cases, the fire is often known when it has grown. Based on these problems, we need a system that can detect fires as quickly as possible from the appearance of smoke to prevent the emergence of a fire that is getting bigger. In this study, the author will create a system in the form of a fire smoke detector using an Arduino Uno microcontroller with the fuzzy mamdan method. The author wants to compare the fuzzy mamdani method and the Arduino device to get the most accurate results possible. Fuzzy reasoning was chosen because this method is able to calculate data that is vague to not vague, commonly called a vague analogy, namely the value used is between 0 and 1. In this system there is an MQ-2 sensor module to detect smoke and an LM35 temperature sensor connected to the Arduino Uno microcontroller. as a center for controlling the work of other devices and a data processing center on the system. And the program is made on Arduino IDE. With an LCD output to display information about the presence of smoke and an output in the form of a buzzer to give a warning sound. In this study, the results showed that the Fire Smoke Detection System Using an Arduino Microcontroller with the Fuzzy Mamdani Method could run well and produce state outputs that were in accordance with the fuzzy calculations in Matlab.

Abstract

The lack of accurate information regarding the stock of goods in a warehouse makes information biased regarding the availability of goods. Information systems are growing rapidly following the advancement of technology. Therefore we need a system that becomes the information center in a warehouse. The goods inventory system is a system that focuses on processing data related to goods in the warehouse. Observations made in the company CV. NONNETEDY using the system development method used by the researcher is Waterfall. The process in development used is UML (Unified Modeling Language) using the PHP programming language and MySql database. The result of implementing an inventory system that researchers use to manage goods data, starting from systematically distributing goods in and out. This makes it easier for users or companies to print reports and have accurate results on the report

Abstract

Covid-19 is a pandemic that has hit the world, including Indonesia. This pandemic can be transmitted from direct human-to-human contact. With social restrictions and also maintaining health protocols, it is felt that they can prevent the transmission of Covid-19. Areas of the face such as the mouth and nose are considered to be the fastest means of spreading. So it is necessary to use masks to reduce the spread of this pandemic. In addition, to prevent transmission a person can find out Covid-19, one of them is through body temperature. Therefore, the use of technology is considered very important in order to minimize and detect the spread of Covid-19. By using this method, it is expected to detect the use of masks and detect body temperature, in order to minimize the transmission of Covid-19 in the room.
