Abstract

Sexual abuse of children is still a high case, in which governments, communities and families as the first in the child's education are concerned. Cases of child sexual abuse not only occur outside the ward but also occur within the family. In solving cases of child sexual abuse, there needs to be a chaperone. Chaperones are social workers who play a part in restoring the social functions of sexually abused children. The methods used in this writing are the use of library study methods by reviewing and analyzing books, journals, magazines, research results (thesis, thesis and accompanied) and other appropriate resources (Internet, newspapers, etc) as data sources. The results of this study include the limited treatment of child sexual abuse, the widespread content of pornography, the lack of punishment for abusers of child sexual abuse and a lack of understanding of parents' sexual abuse of children. Social workers as chaperones play a major role in the treatment of children who are victims of sexual abuse.

Abstract

Learning is an ongoing process of activity in the context of constructive change in children's behavior. Learning interest is a person's interest in a lesson that encourages him to study and pursue that lesson. Therefore, in this study aims to analyze the strengthening of motivation of children's interest in distance learning. This study used qualitative method and conducted at Saung Baca Kragilan, Gelingseng Village. The result of study showed that world of children is a world of play. Children have a great curiosity about something new. The importance of paying attention to children's interest in learning in participating in learning activities requires the right stimulus. For this reason, in a way that suits the child's growth and development. Community reading gardens regarding the duties and functions of community reading gardens in improving children's learning abilities. Furthemore, that needs to be known that one of the factors that influence children's interest in learning is how a teacher or parent is able to package learning activities that can be a special attraction for children in these learning activities.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of rehabilitation for addicts and victims of drug abuse. There are still many Indonesian people who do not know the importance of rehabilitation for addicts, in this article using the method or research literature study. There are 4 types of drugs such as marijuana, methamphetamine, ecstasy, and heroin which are consumed by many addicts who initially only try and then become addicted, if it is dependence it is very difficult to escape from the bondage of drugs without rehabilitation assistance, other than if the effects are allowed to be left very bad and detrimental to many parties. Rehabilitation is a very effective and important way for addicts and victims of drug abuse to stop taking drugs, for example by means of medical or non-medical treatment that leads to better health, long-term recovery, more positive life, life-saving, clean and conscious.

Abstract

Indonesian coastal areas have enormous potential to be developed in improving the welfare of the community, considering that there are still many underprivileged people, and almost 62% of the total population is categorized as living below the poverty line and developing local potentials in the coastal areas requires development. One of the potentials is in the seaweed sector and tourism. Therefore, the next one is developed based on the concept of local economic development. This literature review summarizes the stages or processes for developing coastal economic potential, as well as managing coastal economic potential which includes: Economic Development of Coastal Communities with Seaweed Business in Jumiang Coast, and Development of Marine Tourism Destinations in Buleleng Regency.

Abstract

Development of tourist villages as an effort to reduce poverty. This study amis, i.e: 1) To identify the process of developing Cikolelet Tourism Village, 2) to analyze are the benefits of Cikolelet Tourism Village for the community's economy? 3) to describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in community empowerment efforts through the development of Cikolelet Tourism Village. In this study using a qualitative descriptive method, because it wants to describe the object of research based on the facts that occur in the research place. For data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion from the researcher is that the process of developing Cikolelet Tourism Village is carried out in collaboration with the Serang Regency Tourism Office, the Banten Province Tourism Office and the STP Trisakti College. From this process, there are benefits from the economic sector in tourism activities with a profit sharing system for LMDH/managers by 40%, Perhutani 40% and BUMDES 20%, while from the surrounding community they get income from the shop sector (UMKM). However, there is a need for supporting factors, namely assistants in facilitating training program activities that are very supportive of the development of Cikolelet Tourism Village, and the need for the government to improve accessibility to leading tourist attractions in Cikolelet Village. The inhibiting factor is the unavailability of clean water sources in some of the leading natural attractions in Cikolelet Village, such as Cibaja Peak and Pilar, so that the community still has to work together to bring clean water to meet the tourists' facilities.

Abstract

Improving high character in children is very important to start as early as possible. The characters that have instilled from an early age will become their personalities, as they get older. This article aims to identify and analysis the process of empowermet through informal education to children with social welfare problems (Indonesian: Penyandang Masalah Kesejahteraan Sosial/PMKS). This study used Participatory Need Assessment (PNA). The result shown that the children with PMKS condition who are experiencing social, moral, and material barriers that are included in these categories, such as the poor, street children, beggars, scavengers and others. They are a group that needs to be empowered, that aims to form an honest, disciplined and responsible character for PMKS children through the Socialization Program for improving learning motivation and tahfidzul Qur'an.

Abstract

Community Empowerment in Sustainable Agricultural Development (Study at Desa Asmorobangun, Kecamatan Puncu, Kabupaten Kediri). One of the duties of the nation is to provide the prosperity for the citizen through a development. The development is conducted by the government in order to reach the economic growth by utilizing all agriculture potentials and by organizing community development. In this study has yhe purpose is to know, describe and analyze the empowerment of the community in the village of Asmorobangun in sustainable agricultural development. Type of research is descriptive with qualitative approach data analysis uses Creswell’s model. Asmorobangun Village has a resource potential that is needed can apply sustainable agriculture development for community welfare. Through empowerment which involves several stages such as enlightenment, capacity building, and enforcement, hereby, the awareness, capacity, skill and strength of the community can be improved to exploit all potentials. The support given to the community in sustainable agriculture development is already not maximum. Despite this support, there are factors constraining community empowerment in sustainable agriculture development. These constraints may come from community, very few numbers of agriculture counselor, natural resource inadequacy, and also weather factor at Asmorobangun Village such that the empowerment process cannot be made maximum.

Abstract

Women today have quite diverse roles, from educator to career. Currently they have various roles that can contribute to provide for family income. This research aims; 1) to identify the social entrepreneurship based on women’s empowerment through woven pandanus training, 2) to analyze the supporting factors and obstacles ocial entrepreneurship based on women’s empowerment through woven pandanus training. In this study used qualitative methods and data collection techniques using observation, interview, and documentation. Based on research that has been done, it can be concluded that social entrepreneurship based on women’s empowerment this uses several, stages preparation phase, assessment stage, alternative planning stage of the program or activity, the stage of formulation of the action plan, the stage of implementation and assistance, the evaluation phase, the termination stage. Women taught how to make crafts by utilizing the potential of the natural surroundings, namely pandanus leaves which can made into items that have sale value such as mats, hats, player mats and bags. Furthermore, the supporting factors in the empowerment activities through this craft and woven training, there is collaboration between Pandan’s Craft and the agency/company. Finally, the inhibiting factors such as the low human resources and lack of curiosity.

Abstract

The Social Welfare Program for Displaced Children (PKSAT) is a program created to address the problems of displaced children. One of the institutions that implement the PKSAT program is the Children's Social Welfare Institute (LKSA) Madani Banten through religious programs. The purpose of this research is to determine the evaluation of PKSAT program using CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Cipp program evaluation includes (1) context evaluation consisting of background, objectives and needs analysis, (2) input evaluation, consisting of 4 aspects, namely implementing, budget allocation, targets, facilities and infrastructure, (3) Evaluation Process, which is divided into 4 parts, namely: Planning and socialization, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs, (4) Product Evaluation, which consists of program results. The results of the evaluation research showed that the program implemented in LKSA Madani can be achieved well despite constraints in the program budget.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the role of youth organizations in increasing the social awareness of youth at the village of Giriharja. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study are the members of the youth organization. With data collection techniques, namely through observation and interviews. The research location is in the village of Giriharja which was conducted from September until November 2020. The results of this study indicate that the role of the Youth Organization in increasing youth social awareness is in the unfavorable category. This means that youths who lack responsiveness, care, are indifferent to the surrounding environment and cool with their own world so that they forget their duties as youths and members of the youth organization. Therefore, youth are expected to be more concerned with their duties and also care for the surrounding community.
