Abstract

Climate change affects the yield of timun apel plants, reducing the income of the timun apel farming community in Tanjung Pakis Village. The decline in income from timun apelproduction has resulted in the community's ability to meet food needs being disrupted, resulting in the threat of food insecurity. This research aims to determine the resilience of the apple-cucumber farming community in facing the threat of food insecurity due to climate change. This research was conducted using a case study method in the timun apel farming community in Tanjungpakis Village, Pakis Jaya District, Karawang Regency, because in this village, there is a community of timun apel farmers that has good natural resource potential, but there are ecological problems such as threats to production due to climate change. This research uses qualitative data with descriptive analysis. The research results show that the community of timun apel farmers in Tanjung Pakis Village already has reasonably good resources but still needs more adaptive capacity. Communities must utilize their resources as optimally as possible and increase adaptive capacity so that communities can be resilient in facing the threat of food insecurity due to climate change.

Abstract

This article critically reviews The Future of Religious Studies, which reflects on the historical evolution and methodological transformation of religious studies from modernity to postmodernity. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, the study analyzes how the text challenges the dominance of Western rationality and promotes an interdisciplinary paradigm that integrates theology, philosophy, and the social sciences. The discussion highlights the transition from essentialism to methodological pluralism, emphasizing religion as a dynamic and contextual phenomenon. The review argues that the future of religious studies lies in its ability to remain reflective, humanistic, and socially transformative. In the Indonesian context, this perspective provides a valuable framework for developing a contextual and dialogical approach to studying religion amid pluralism, digitalization, and socio-political change.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to analyze Dove's global marketing communication strategy through the Campaign for Real Beauty and examine its role in building consumer engagement and brand equity. The research employs a Literature Review method by reviewing various relevant journal articles, academic books, and scientific publications on global marketing communication, Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC), consumer engagement, and brand equity. The results of the study indicate that the success of the Campaign for Real Beauty is supported by the implementation of a global marketing communication strategy that integrates various communication channels through an IMC approach. Dove consistently maintains its core message of authentic, inclusive, and diverse beauty across various countries, while simultaneously adapting to local cultural contexts. This strategy has successfully built consumer engagement across cognitive, emotional, and behavioral dimensions through messages that resonate with the issues of self-acceptance and women's diversity. Furthermore, this campaign contributes to strengthening brand equity by increasing brand awareness, shaping a positive brand image, reinforcing brand loyalty, and creating strong brand resonance. The research findings also show that social value-based campaigns (purpose-driven marketing) have the capability to build long-term relationships between brands and consumers, although challenges such as consumer skepticism and category inertia remain factors that need to be considered. This study contributes to the development of global marketing communication studies and provides practical implications for companies in designing effective communication strategies in the international market. Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed the landscape of public political participation, creating active digital communities that voice aspirations and influence public policy. This study examines how digital movements, such as online petitions and netizen activism forums, serve as advocacy instruments in Indonesia's policymaking process. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this research analyzes various real-world cases such as the #SaveKPK, #ReformasiDikorupsi, and #GejayanMemanggil movements, which demonstrate the power of mobilization and consolidation within digital communities. The findings indicate that digital participation expands political access, increases public awareness, and can exert significant political pressure. However, its effectiveness is still limited by low digital literacy, opinion polarization, and the absence of regulations that formally support digital engagement. Therefore, strengthening infrastructure and policies to accommodate digital participation is necessary for democracy to grow more inclusively and responsively in the digital era.
