Abstract

Research on evaluation of Joint Business Group programs (Kelompok Usaha Bersama/KUBE) in empowering socioeconomic vulnerable women (Perempuan Rawan Sosial Ekonomi/PRSE) conducted in Lopang sub-district, Serang sub-district, Serang city, Banten province. This study aims to evaluate the KUBE program in empowering socio-economic vulnerable women carried out by the Serang City Social Services. In this program evaluation research, the researcher uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the CIPP evaluation model (Context Evaluation, Input Evaluation, Process Evaluation and Product Evaluation). Furthermore, data collection techniques conducted by observation, structured interviews, and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). From the results of the research that researchers have done, the Joint Business Group program (KUBE) conducted by the Serang City Social Services has been running smoothly and has reached a level of success. With this program, many people feel helped so that they are able to manage the assistance. In addition, this program is also able to reduce the unemployment to increase local economy development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the evaluation of empowerment programs using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). This research approach uses kualitatif methods. The research subjects consisted of the Sedekah Ngider Foundation, village administrators and members of the sedekah village. Data collection techique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. In conclusion, the result of the context evaluation on the village alms program have been achieved and the needs of the community have been met. The input evaluation, which includes implementers, budget allocatons, targets, facilities and infrastructure supporting the program has been achieved due to good cooperation from the Sedekah Ngider Foundation and the Sedekah village administrators. Process evaluation includes planning and socialization, implementation monitoring and evaluation of the program in accordance with the process. Product evaluation consisting of program results, according to research that has been carried out vy the village sedekah program, has been achieved in empowering the community in gaining skills and knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Determine the effectiveness of the integration program of religion and science which was carried out at the Rumah Pintar Al-Ikhlas Serang Branch. 2) Analyzing the obstacles faced by the Rumah Pintar Al-Ikhlas Serang Branch in implementing this program. 3) Describe the evaluation of the integration of religion and science programs that have been carried out at the Rumah Pintar Al-Ikhlas Serang Branch. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research type and program evaluation using the Tyler model. The results and conclusions of this study are: 1) From the evaluation of the program using the Tyler model in the implementation of the integration program of religion and science at the Rumah Pintar Al-Ikhlas Serang Branch, it was found that the fostered children who took part in this program there were visible changes although not so significant. 2) Obstacles experienced by the Rumah Pintar Al-Ikhlas Serang Branch in implementing this program are the lack of expert teaching staff, teaching media, and the lack of enthusiasm for student learning.

Abstract

The decline in the community's economy is part of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic that has been going on since the beginning of 2020. This has led to an increase in the level of poverty and unemployment in Indonesia. This study aims to describe building the community's economy through organic vegetable farming during the pandemic by PKK in Karanglewas Kidul Village, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods where the data collection techniques were observation and interviews with the subjects of PKK women in Karanglewas Kidul Village. The results are: Organic vegetable cultivation is carried out as an effort to get used to living a healthy life and eating healthy food, and can provide real benefits for the community in the form of additional income as a form of community economic development, besides that the community can also develop independently through the use of home yard land as a place to live. organic vegetable cultivation.

Abstract

Pembangunan pedesaan di Desa Dauh Peken kini terus ditingkatkan baik dari segi ekonomi dan sosial. Saat ini membutuhkan partisipasi seluruh masyarakat dan pemerintah untuk terlibat mewujudkan pembangunan desa. Melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat di bidang ekonomi dan lingkungan, Pemerintah Desa Dauh Peken berupaya menciptakan pembangunan desa yang diinginkan oleh masyarakat sesuai dengan potensi yang ada di desa. Masalah latar belakang untuk penelitian ini adalah kurangnya dana, yang belum tersedia dari fasilitas dan kegiatan infrastruktur pendukung, kurangnya pelatihan, belum ada perhatian serius dari pemerintah, serta kemiskinan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan teknik pengumpulan data deskriptif kualitatif seperti wawancara mendalam. Studi ini menganalisis bagaimana pembangunan pedesaan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan konsep pemberdayaan masyarakat terdiri dari indikator ekonomi, pilihan komoditas dan jenis bisnis, manajemen sumber daya manusia dan pengembangan karir, pengembangan jaringan kemitraan, logistik dan manajemen keuangan dan pengembangan fasilitas dan infrastruktur. Indikator lingkungan, lingkungan fisik dan lingkungan sosial.

Abstract

Religious instructors have an important role in the community. Islamic religious instructors are usually tasked with providing counseling about religion for the community, but in this case the Islamic Religious Counselors in Serang Regency have their own initiatives by providing counseling on the importance of the economy in religion for the community. Therefore, Islamic religious instructors in Petir District, Serang District, tried to help the government to empower the community, Mekar Baru Village, Petir District with a program to improve the community's economy through making salted eggs. Based on the description above, the formulation of the problem in this study are: 1) Why does the Islamic religious instructor hold a program to improve the community's economy through salted eggs? 2) How is the implementation of the community economic improvement program through the manufacture of salted eggs? 3) What are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the community economic improvement program through the manufacture of salted eggs? This study aims to explain 1) The program to improve the community's economy through salted eggs carried out by Islamic religious instructors in Serang Regency. 2) Knowing the implementation of the community economic improvement program through the manufacture of salted eggs carried out by Islamic religious instructors in Serang Regency. 3) Knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors of the community's economic improvement program through the manufacture of salted eggs. The difference between the research conducted by Nasrullah, Ramadhan, and Wardatul Asriyah with this thesis is about the salted egg, that is, the religious instructor in addition to providing religious counseling guidance also provides an understanding of the importance of maintaining economic stability in religion. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. For data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research conducted, it can be concluded that the Islamic religious counslors made a salted egg making program to help the economy of the community in Mekar Baru Village. Implementation of the program is divided into 4, namely, daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. The supporting factors of the program are: the involvement of the management and the community as well as assistance from donors. The inhibiting factors are: lack of transportation between villages, facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Development and empowerment are things that are commonly discussed for the progress and change of the nation at this time. One of the efforts of the village government in overcoming the problem of poverty is the formation of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES). This study aims: 1) to explain the social conditions of the people of Teluk Terate Village, 2) to explain how to empower the community's economy through BUMDES. 3) to explain how the results of community economic empowerment through BUMDES. In this study, I used descriptive qualitative research methods with field research. The results of this study indicate that the community feels helped by the existence of BUMDES Sabar Subur. 1) One of them is by sending a number of residents who are unemployed due to low education factors to the Manpower Services Unit, 2) Community economic empowerment through BUMDES runs well through the stages of awareness, training, mentoring and evaluation. And has several business units such as Sharia Microfinance Institution Business Unit (LKMS), Training and Employment Business Unit, Production and Trade Business Unit and Service and Rental Business Unit. 3) With the existence of this business unit, the people of Teluk Terate Village already have a business of cassava chips, catfish farms, and several quite large stalls. And seen from the inhibiting factors, it is hoped that the management of BUMDES can be even better with innovations and new BUMDES board members.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin melalui UMKM merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin melalui UMKM bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dalam UMKM. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola-pola pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin berbasis UMKM dan mengetahui bentuk-bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat miskin berbasis UMKM. UMKM merupakan salah satu usaha yang potensial untuk meningkatkan perekonomian serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Adapun potensi dan pengembangan yang dilakukan oleh pengusaha terdiri dari: 1) Pengadaan permodalan 2) Inovasi hasil produksi 3) Perluasan jaringan pemasaran 4) Pengadaan sarana dan prasarana produksi. Pengembangan lainnya ialah dengan adanya bantuan dari pemerintah, diantaranya: a. Dinas Koperasi dan UKM memberikan akses permodalan kepada pengusaha emping jagung terdiri dari dua sumber yaitu dana yang diberikan oleh pemerintah pusat berupa dana LPDB (LembagaPengelola Dana Bergulir) dan dana yang diberikan oleh pemerintah berupa bantuan sosial (Bansos) dan Hibah melalui koperasi agar masyarakat ikut peduli akan keberadaan dan fungsi koperasi.

Abstract

The closure of all teaching and learning activities at educational institutions throughout Indonesia starting March 2020, to assist in efforts to contain the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. This paper aims to analyze learning assistance in the era of distance learning. This study used qualitative and participatory learning and action methods. This study showed that students have impacedt of teaching and learning activities which is conducted by online at their respective homes, many problems began to arise from mounting homework, incomprehensible assignments, psychologically shaken children because they were not put up with online learning, and parents who are busy working to buy their children online learning needs. Therefore, the opening of several community reading parks or Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM) for short, if it can help a little bit the burden of parents and the burden of the students themselves, in doing the tasks given by the Educational Institution, with face-to-face offline learning methods.

Abstract

The development of social welfare is a mandate for all countries in the world. Poverty is not only a lack of primary needs, health, and education. Poverty will give equality to various underdeveloped groups of people. Therefore, Raudhatul Sa’adah is a school that tries to ease the burden on the government to empower the community. This study aims to explain: 1) to find out the community in Cemplang Village, Jawilan District, Serang Regency, 2) to find out the social services provided by Raudhatul Sa’adah School in community empowerment. 3) to find out the economic condition of the community in Cemplang Village, Jawilan District, Serang Regency. This study used a qualitative method, because the author wanted to describe the objective of research based on the fact that occurred in the research place. As for the data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that Raudhatul Sa’adah School has a service program, namely an education program and an economic business service program. In the education service program, schools provide several services, namely reading glasses, early childhood, and children's scholarships, while in the economic business service program, nemely are benefits that are felt, namely the benefits of education and economic benefits. The supporting factors of the program are: involvement of good administrators and donor assistance. As for the inhibiting factors, nemely: lack of awareness in archiving data, people who have been empowered choose to live their respective lives, and lack of facilities and infrastructure.
