Abstract

The purpose of this study is: (a) To reveal the effect of Learning Learning Method on learning motivation. (b) Want to find out how far the motivation to learn after applying the Reinforcement Learning Method. This research uses action research as much as three rounds. Each round consists of four stages, namely: design, activity and observation, reflection, and revision. The targets of this study were students of Class XI Science 3 in SMA N 5 Kota Jambi.The data analysis technique used in this study is quantitative descriptive, which is a research method that is describing the facts or facts in accordance with the data obtained with the aim to find out the learning achievements of students as well as to obtain student responses to learning activities and student activities during the learning process . This analysis is calculated using simple statistics. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities. From the results of analysts it was found that student achievement increased from cycle I to cycle III namely, cycle I (57%), cycle II (71%), cycle III (88%). The conclusion of this research is the Reinforcement method can positively influence the learning motivation of Grade XI students, and this learning model can be used as an alternative to Counseling Guidance.

Abstract

This research is qualitave descriptive reserach that aimed to explain; (1) The  transitivity structure of text of tale ji , (2) The Meaning of tale ji, and (3) Function of tale ji. The data are the texts of tale ji that uttered by the singers of tale Tanjung Pauh Hilir, Kerinci. This research was done through three steps: data collecting, data analysis, and data presentation.  Data collecting is used observational method in which tapping as the basic technique. The advance techniques used nonparticipant observational, recording, and note taking techniques. Data analysis used comparison (translational, referential, pragmatics) and distributional methods (deletion and assertion). The data presentation is formal and informal. Based on analysis, the researcher found that: 1) The structure of transitivity that construct the text of tale ji are: a. Process; material, mental, behavioral, verbal, and existential. b. Participant; goal, carrier, attributive, senser, actor, behavior, verbiage, owner, sayer, and receiver. c. Sirkumstance; manner, place, time. Alaa - alaa ii aa oon and alaa - la hu allooh which those functions are as musicallity, dzikir,and the borderer between lyrics of tale ji. 2) The meaning of tale ji are coneptual, affective, collocative, and contextual meaning. Conceptual meaning of tale ji is the representation of Islam teaching aplication. Affective meaning of tale ji is the mental representation between jamaah of hajj and society. Collocative meaning of tale ji is the representation of massages, hopes and praying of penale. Contextual meaning of tale ji is the representation of kinship. 3) The functions of tale ji are assertive, directive, comissive, and ekspressive.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of respondents and the influence of classroom management and interest in learning on student learning outcomes on the subjects of economy class X in SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. Based on data analysis on the results of research that there is a significant influence between classroom management and interest in learning of student learning outcomes on the subjects of economy class X in SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi. With result of model summary R = 0,067 and R Square = 0,004. In ANOVA, the value of F = 69,368 with α (sig) = 0.003. Because α (Sig) <0.05, then regression can be used to predict classroom management and interest in learning at 95% confidence level. Based on the value of B constant for X, we can make a regression equation that is Y = a + X1 + X2 = 64,046 + 0,201 + 0,291. And, for t arithmetic X1 = 2.010, and t arithmetic X2 = 2.856 then t arithmetic> t table. This means that t count> t table. This means that the results of this t test indicate that the classroom management (X1) and interest in learning (X2) have a positive and significant impact on the learning outcomes (Y) of the students of class X economic subjects in SMA Negeri 8 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the understanding of knowledge sharing on the achievements of students who carry out field experience. This research uses quantitative research methods with the research design used is descriptive research. The population was 176 students using a non probability sampling technique, so the sample of 64 students was calculated using the Slovin formula. Data analysis techniques used in this study were descriptive statistics, classic assumption tests and linear regression analysis with the help of a computer program version 23. The results of this study use the t test, where knowladge sharing (X) has a positive value direction of 4.035 which has a value greater than t table of 1,671 with a significance value of 0,000 <0.05 which means that it has a significant effect. So it can be concluded that the understanding of knowledge sharing (X) affects the achievement of students who carry out field experience.

Abstract

In Kota Sungai Penuh, the existence of the incung script has actually been revitalized for its use by the Kerinci Government. Therefore, this study will analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the implementation of enchung in schools in Sungai Penuh City. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with primary data obtained by interviews and questionnaires from 20 respondents. Then the data are analyzed by using the Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT) methods. The result is From the results and discussion described above, this research concludes that, from the analysis of Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threats (SWOT), there are strengths that are not too high compared to weaknesses, where the point of strength is only at the number 300. This means that the implementation of the Enchung script as a local content in Sungai Penuh City is still weak. To implementated of the Enchung script as local content in schools in Sungai Penuh City, it is recommended to provide a budget for the process of implementing the Enchung script local content program in Sungai Penuh City. Providing facilities and infrastructure, manuals and textbooks to support the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to 1) formulate a plan for a program to improve cultural literacy through the movement of scouts in implementing the values of Pancasila and the constitutional awareness of the information technology era in the school environment; 2) fostering cultural literacy through the scouting movement in implementing Pancasila values and constitutional awareness in the era of information technology at school; 3) increase cultural literacy through the movement of scouts in instilling the values of Pancasila and constitutional awareness of the information technology era in learning; and 4) increasing the literacy culture of the information technology scout era in implementing constitutional norms and Pancasila values in students at school. The method used is qualitative research with an informal approach because it follows the situations and conditions of students, aiming to obtain a picture of the culture of information literacy by the scouts by instilling the values of Pancasila and simplicity in constituting in the current era of technology and information. The results of this study are 1) The preparation of constitutional awareness development programs in schools includes the steps: needs analysis, programming and endorsement, evaluation and feedback. Through planting cultural literacy in the activities of scouting in schools 2) in growing cultural literacy through the movement of tutors in schools. And also in learning developing "Very good", where 10 priority character values of 90% have become a habit. Slowness develops in initiatives during group discussions or when class presentations that reach the category begin to develop. 3) Constitutional awareness building and fostering Pancasila values in a "good" developing school environment, where 80% of the program can be run and 4) Constitutional awareness building in the general public environment develops "Very good". Because it can also be socialized by students through scouting values, constitutional norms and likes to do reading activities by revitalizing libraries through cultural literacy.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve the ability of teachers to apply the problem centered learning model of learning in the Elementary School 187/ X Bangun Karya, Academic Year 2019/2020. The subject of this study was a teacher at 187 / X Bangun Karya Elementary School, Rantau Rasau District, Tanjung Jabung Timur District, Jambi Province. This class action research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings. The results of the evaluation are converted into a recapitulation table of the results of cycle I. The conversion results state that the research has not yet reached the target, it needs to be continued with cycle II. The results of observers in the implementation phase of the second cycle showed that all parts of the learning activities were going well, so that there were no more parts of the learning activities that needed to be improved. While the results of the second cycle are converted with the results of the recapitulation table states that the study has reached the target limit of completeness criteria in the first cycle that is equal to 50% and an average of 68.7 in the initial conditions of improvement in the second cycle completeness criteria to be 100% and the average namely 91.7 states that the Focus Group Discission can improve the ability of teachers to apply the Problem Centered Learning learning model in learning in 187 / X Public Elementary School Build Work Year 2019/2020.

Abstract

This research is aimed at analyzing the attitude of students of non-English major study towards English lessons at the faculty of Economics and Law of Batanghari University in Jambi. The research problem is the attitude of students of non-English major study towards English lessons. The research is used quantitative method by using questionnaire and discussion method. Based on the calculation of the item values using SPSS, it was concluded that 40 questions were valid, 5 were invalid, the total score correlation value (r count) was consulted with rtable (0.349) at α = 0.05, 40 questions were declared valid and as many as 5 questions were declared invalid namely question no. 7,18,19 25 28 and the non-valite questionnaire was discarded. So the number of items used as research is as many as 40 questions. Based on table 4.3 above, can be seen an overview of each variable. Variable Attitute Height with an average value of 3.74. This means that Behavioral is in the High category which is in the High category with an average value of 3.88. Cognitive variable 3.97 and emotional included in the high category that is equal to 3.85. Variable of ATTITUDES of 10 statement items there is one item in the very high category (8) the rest, all items are in the high category with an average value in the range, 3.40 - 4.19 overall, Variable of ATTITUDES is in the category high with an average value of 3.86. Variable of BEHAVIORAL Of the 10 statement items there is one item in the very high category (8) the rest, all items are in the high category with the average value in the range, 3.40 - 4, 19 overall, the Variable of Behavioral is in the high category with an average value of 3.88.COGNITIVE out of the 10 statement items there is one item in the very high category (8) and the rest, all items are in the high category with an average value on range, 3.40 - 4.19 overall, QUESTIONAIRES OF COGNITIVES are in the high category with an average value of 3.97. EMOTIONAL OF 10 statement items there is one items are in the very high category (8) the rest, all items are in the high category with an average value in the range, 3.40 - 4.19 overall, QUESTIONAIRES OF EMOTIONAL are in the high category with an average value of 3.85.

Abstract

This paper discusses the position of Sarekat Islam (SI) as the largest and one of the most important organizations during the National Movement of 1900-1942, in the context of two large currents of Indonesian Islamic thought, namely traditional Islam and modernist Islam. Many historical works that do not explicitly explain the position of SI to the two groups have caused dissent. Through searching historical data about the 1912 Statutes and the speeches of SI leaders in the Bandung congress in 1916 it can be concluded that SI is an Islamic movement organization with a modernist style of Islam. However, this organization is less involved in the disputes between the reformers (Young People) and the traditions (Old People) compared to organizations that limit themselves in the social and educational fields.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of picture and picture cooperative learning methods in improving student learning outcomes in class XII-MIA SMAN 5 Kota Jambi. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) on students of class XII-MIA SMAN 5 Kota Jambi. In this study, researchers used a class to implement the picture and picture model, namely class XII-MIA2 SMAN 5 Kota Jambi, which consisted of 40 students, consisting of two cycles, each cycle including the steps of planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. In the planning stage, a learning scenario is prepared and a learning tool is prepared. In implementing the action, the learning process is carried out with a picture and picture model. Observation results are presented in class discussions. Observation results are presented in class discussions, while observations are made of student activities, student attitudes, and teacher performance as well as learning outcomes tests. Performance indicators in research in the form of achievement of mastery learning individually and classically. The results of the implementation of the first cycle showed that the performance indicators had not been achieved, for this reason there were improvements to the second cycle. Analysis in cycle II shows the completeness of student learning outcomes.
