Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya ISSN 2088-5857 (Print) ISSN 2580-7463 (Online) adalah peer-review jurnal akses terbuka yang bertujuan untuk berbagi dan diskusi mengenai isu dan hasil penelitian yang lagi hangat pada saat ini. Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Batanghari Jambi, Jurnal ini mencakup bidang ilmu pendidikan dan pengajaran, Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Pendidikan Sejarah, Pendidikan Ekonomi, Pendidikan Matematika, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan April dan September. Jurnal ini mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian tentang pendidikan dan pengajaran, dan artikel yang masuk hendaknya bukan hasil plagiat dan belum dipublikasikan di tempat lain. Artikel akan di review oleh reviewer dan hasilnya akan dikomunikasikan kepada penulis. Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya membuka peluang sebesar-besarnya bagi penulis yang ingin berkontribusi didalamnya sesuai dengan focus dan scope jurnal ini.

This research is aimed at obtaining information and discussing the application of discovery learning models to improve the results of Learning Bahasa Indonesia in grade VIII.D SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi semester I of the 2019/2020 school year. This study is a class action study consisting of two cycles in which each cycle consists of two meetings. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted at SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi with the research subject of grade VIII.D students of SMPN 9 MUaro Jambi which amounted to 26 people in the odd semester of the 2019/2020 school year. Data collection techniques using observation sheets, tests, field records and documentation. The data is analyzed using percentages and data reduction. The results showed that through the discovery learning model can be the results of learning Bahasa Indonesia students in grade VIII.D SMPN 9 Muaro Jambi semester I of the 2019/2020 school year with the act of giving rewards.

The background of this research is the lack of meaningful learning pklh so that students are less able to take the meaning of learning so that the values of character can not be instilled in the individual of each student. The purpose of this research is to develop character-based teaching materials through a valid, practical, and effective QTL learning model. This type of research is development research using addie development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The sample of this study is students of economic education courses. Data collection techniques by conducting observations and tests. The data is analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. The results showed that character-based PKLH teaching materials using the QTL model can develop student character, with the student character category in good condition. The level of validity, practicality, and effectiveness that are in the category is very valid, very practical, and very effective. This development research has produced products in the form of character-based teaching materials. The implications of character-based teaching materials are valid, practical and able to help students develop character in their daily lives. The implementation of the learning process becomes more meaningful because learning with character-based teaching materials can support students' understanding of the material. It is concluded that this teaching material has been valid, practical, and effective in developing the character of students.

Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers should be able to become a mediator to build effective communication and pay attention to students. During the pandemic, counseling teachers can use various media and communication platforms that are familiar to students, but do not ignore the humanist value of the counselor profession. The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts of Guidance and Counseling teacher services, student responses, as well as obstacles or obstacles to Guidance and Counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive phenomenology. The results of the study were that the Guidance and Counseling services provided during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi used classical guidance services. The responses or feelings of students in the Guidance and Counseling teacher services during the COVID-19 pandemic were different for each research subject, and the obstacles or obstacles were that there were some students who did not have cellphones, insufficient costs for data packages, and networks. telephone is slow so that students become distracted in learning. Suggestions for parents should be to spend time, support, and love their children in the home environment, because children usually need the attention and support of each parent. Suggestions for the community if we have a disaster or disaster should be responded to patiently and sincerely to accept it, of course also pay attention to the regulations made by the government so that the COVID-19 pandemic can end. Suggestions for researchers for further research must be considered and prepared what is needed in research.

The objectives of the research are to how the effectiveness of using newspaper article to teach reading comprehension. Moreover, this research designed to study how the newspaper article can be implemented in the tenth grade students of SMA N 6 Muaro Jambi. The method used in this research is quantitative research design. The subject of the research is the ten grade students of SMA N 6 Muaro Jambi. There are 30 students of the ten class X MIA 1 and 30 students of the ten class X MIA 2. The result showed there is a significant effect on the students’ reading comprehension between those who were taught by using newspaper article and those who were taught without newspaper article. In this research, the null hypothesis is rejected because the value of t-test is higher than the value of t-table (1.93 > 1.47). Then, the alternative hypothesis is accepted, the value of t-test is higher than the value of t-table (1.93 > 1.47). Thus, it proved that there is the effect of using think pair share technique to develop students’ reading skills on tenth grade students’ of SMA N 6 Muaro Jambi Jambi. In conclusion, it was found that there is improvement score on the students who were taught by newspaper article. This can be seen from pre-test result, treatment and post test result after treatment. Teaching English learning by using newspaper article in experimental class was effective.

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of student learning outcomes in Geography subjects with the subject of Population Dynamics in Indonesia class XI IPS 1 SMAN 10 Jambi using inquiry learning model. Population and samples in this study were students of class XI IPS 1, amounting to 30 students. The data obtained based on this study Based on the results obtained in the above study between the two cycles it can be obtained data that in cycle 1 the average value of student learning activities in first cycle was 2.6 while the average value in second cycle was obtained. amounted to 3,4. This shows that there is an increase in student learning activities. Based on the results obtained in the above research, between the two cycles, it can be obtained data that in first cycle the average value of teacher activity was 3.4, and the average value insecond cycle was 3.5. This shows that there is an increase in teacher activity. Based on the results obtained in the above research, especially on the subject of Population Dynamics in Indonesia, there are significant results on student learning completeness in first cycle and second cycle was 10%.

This research is a historical research with a qualitative approach, the main problem is the method of historical field trips to increase learning motivation and historical awareness of the History students, FKIP Unbari. The formulation of the problem proposed is why the method of field trips to historical sites can increase learning motivation and awareness of student history and how students can utilize historical sites that are visited as sources of historical learning. The purpose of this research is to explain the relationship between the field trip method and the increase in student motivation and historical awareness, and describe the function of the historical sites visited through the field trip method for students. Furthermore, the method used is the historical method, consists of heuristic stages (collection of sources), criticism (source verification becomes the primary source and secondary sources), interpretation (the relationship of all sources and give sorurce assessment), and historiography (final writing of research). The conclusion of the research is that the variation of methods when studying history is one aspect that lecturers must pay attention to in order to achieve an active, creative, effective, and enjoyable learning goal (PAKEM). Therefore, if students undergo saturation and boredom during studying in the classroom, lecturers must be dare to try innovative learning methods such as the field trip method by visiting historical sites according to the material in a particular subject.

This research aims to increase interest and learning outcomes in geography subjects in class X IPS 2 SMAN 10 Jambi in the 2018/2019 academic year through the application of the Group Resume type cooperative learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementing, acting, observing and reflecting. The population in this study were students of class X IPS 2 SMAN 10 Jambi with a total of 30 students. The main data collection techniques in this study were observation, tests, and questionnaires, while the supporting data collection techniques used interviews and documentation. Data analysis using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this reaserch that the application of the cooperative learning model type Group Resume can increase the interesting and learning outcomes of students in geography in class X IPS 2 SMAN10 Jambi. In the first cycle, the students' interest in learning with good criteria was 66.60%, increasing to 86.67% in the second cycle. In the pre-action learning outcomes of students showed an average of 70.13, increased to 76.4 in cycle I, and increased to 87.06 in second cycle. The conclusion of this study is the application of the cooperative learning model type Group Resume can increase interesting and student learning outcomes in geography in class X IPS 2 SMAN 10 Jambi.

The purpose of this research is to describe the familiar and relaxed variety of speech greetings in the Malay community of Jambi. The focus of the research is related to 3 things, namely: 1) the forms of various forms of addressing familiar and casual types of discourse, 2) the factors behind the variations in addressing variations in various discourses, and 3) sentence patterns that contain variations in addressing familiar and casual types of discourse. in the verbal communication of the Jambi Malay community. This research is a qualitative research with a sociolinguistic approach. Field data collection uses ethnographic methods. Ethnographic techniques used include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, introspection, and domine analysis. Primary data comes from 8 informants and secondary data comes from documents. Data were analyzed based on socio-cultural and situational factors. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that: 1) The forms of variation of greetings in the verbal communication of the Jambi Malay community are in the familiar and casual types. Forms of greeting used include pangilan kesanyangan, name abbreviations, intimate calls and special calls outside the language. This variation is found in verbal communication between family members whether they are older, the same age, or less. The variety of friendly and casual types of greetings outside of family relationships occurs in close friends or close friends, usually using special calls. 2) The factors that cause the use of familiar and casual types of greetings in verbal communication are determined by the factor of the proximity of the speaker and speaker relationship, the situation of speech and the topic of speech 4) The sentence pattern of the familiar variety tends to be Subject-Predicate (SP) while the casual variety Object (PO).

This study is to determine the development of educational media for playing snakes and ladders in learning the history of Indonesia during colonialism and European imperialism using the Lee and Owens model. This development model consists of five development stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. From the process of these stages, the average score at the trial stage where the product went through three stages, namely one to one (2.58) in the poor category, the small group (4.2) in the very feasible category, and the field test (4, 45) in the very category worth it. Overall from the results of these trials, the mean score was 3.74 categories (feasible).

The purpose of this current study was to to Analysis and to know the teacher's strategy in online learning english during the Covid 19 pandemic. This study’s approach was descriptive qualitative on survey research to thirty students of english business class. Teacher’s strategies in online teaching can be seen from a variety of strategies used for example: 1) teacher strategies in explaining lessons. 2) the teacher's strategies of giving assignments. 3) teacher’s strategies in providing grades.Then when explaining the discussion online so that it can be understood, and the obstacles experienced by the teacher when carrying out online learning teaching and learning activities during the Covid 19 pandemic. The participants are the students of english business class Lesson.
