Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP) Universitas Batanghari Jambi, Jurnal ini mencakup bidang ilmu pendidikan dan pengajaran, Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia, Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris, Pendidikan Sejarah, Pendidikan Ekonomi, Pendidikan Matematika, Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya terbit 2 (dua) kali dalam setahun yaitu pada bulan April dan September. Jurnal ini mempublikasikan artikel hasil penelitian tentang pendidikan dan pengajaran, dan artikel yang masuk hendaknya bukan hasil plagiat dan belum dipublikasikan di tempat lain. Artikel akan di review oleh reviewer dan hasilnya akan dikomunikasikan kepada penulis. Jurnal Ilmiah Dikdaya membuka peluang sebesar-besarnya bagi penulis yang ingin berkontribusi didalamnya sesuai dengan focus dan scope jurnal ini.

Abstract

The work environment is a means or a place that influences the performance of a teacher. Compensation is a reward that is considered, so that the teacher can play an important role in carrying out his responsibilities. while competence is to manage student learning. While teacher performance is the result of work in quality and quantity that is achieved by a teacher in carrying out his duties in accordance with his responsibilities. This study aims to analyze the direct effect of the work environment on teacher performance, the direct effect of the work environment on competence, the indirect effect of the work environment on teacher performance through competence, the direct effect of compensation on teacher performance, the direct effect of compensation on competence, the indirect effect of compensation on performance teachers through competence, the direct effect of competence on teacher performance. This research was conducted at the Ash-Shiddiiqi Integrated Islamic School Jambi. The approach used in this thesis is descriptive and quantitative research with path analysis method (Path Analysis). The sample in this study was 100 respondents. The instrument used in this research is a questionnaire in the form of statement items. Then the data is processed using the SPSS Statistics 22 application. The results of this study concluded that the work environment has no effect on competence, compensation has an effect on competence, work environment has an effect on teacher performance, compensation has no effect on teacher performance, competence has no effect on teacher performance, work environment has no effect on teacher performance through competence as an intervening variable, compensation has no effect on teacher performance through competence as an intervening variable.

Abstract

Early childhood education today has become the need of society. Although early childhood education, including education level of recognition, but education has contributed a lot to the development of children's education. This study aims to determine the implementation of the management of early childhood education made Al-Hijrah Jambi. This research uses descriptive method with a qualitative approach to data collection tool while using interviews, observation and documentation study questionnaire. As for the subjects in this study is the element that includes the school principal and teachers in early childhood Sabang Al- Hijrah, elements of the parents. The results showed that: (1) Planning early childhood education programs in school of Al-Hijrah, was generally well conceived, it has the look of the planning program of educational activities in accordance with the provisions of a plan of activities. (2) Organization of Al-Hijrah in early childhood, was publicly reflects the relevance of the ability and skills to the needs of education personnel. (3) The implementation of early childhood education in AlHijrah directed in the learning process goes well, effective and fun. (4) Supervision conducted by the two surveillance systems, namely: the direct supervision and control of functional superiors. Supervisor oversight conducted by the Principal, while the functional supervision conducted by the School Trustees.

Abstract

This research aims at determining the effectiveness of using movie in increasing students’ vocabulary masteryof grade 11th at SMA N 9 Jambi city. This research was conducted with two classes of samples. Class samples were taken by using random sampling technique. Classes were first drawn as the experimental class A and second drawn was labeled as control class (class B). From the hypotheses, it is expected that using a movie is very effective in increasing students vocabulary when they learn English compared with those who do not use movie as a media in learning vocabulary. From the results of the hypothesis test it is obtained that tcount  1,76 > t table 1,67. From the analysis that has been conducted on the pre-test and post-test, it can be concluded thatH0 is rejected so it can be concluded in accordance with the hypothesis that English vocabulary learning outcomes of students who use movie as a media is more effective rather than the English vocabulary learning outcomes of students who do not use of it

Abstract

: Teachers as educators have an important role in determining the success of the teaching and learning process. Meanwhile, the learning model serves as a guide for teachers in carrying out the teaching and learning process. In choosing a learning model, it is determined by the level of student ability, the material to be taught, and also the goals to be achieved. In addition, each learning model has stages that students must know from the guidance provided by the teacher. The use of learning models that are appropriate to the situation and conditions will certainly have an impact on the sustainability of teaching and learning activities in the classroom. Based on the description of the previous data analysis table, both the control and experimental classes showed a fairly good increase. However, the average score is still far from the expectations and desired achievements. Thus, in teaching and learning activities that are carried out, it is very necessary to have a comprehensive planning and process for various factors and possibilities that can hinder or support the achievement of better learning in the future. Thus, it can be explained that gaps in learning can occur due to the conditions and timing of activities that have not been able to be optimized properly. Students are not only the cause but also the impact on the success of a teacher in carrying out teaching and learning activities. Therefore, encouraging students to study harder and harder can be appreciated through academic and intellectual activities and interactions, not only limited to the school's vision, mission, and goals

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan dan kelebihan dari Model VCT (Value clarification technique) yang dipadukan dengan metode bermain peran sehingga berguna untuk penguatan ranah afektif mahasiswa. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian diolah dengan model interaktif Miles & Huberman dengan 4 tahap yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan menarik kesimpulan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran VCT (Value clarification technique) yang dipadukan dengan metode bermain peran efektif dalam memberikan penguatan terhadap ranah afektif mahasiswa. Dengan beberapa kelebihan yakni  dapat memberikan kesadaran akan nilai dan norma social yang berkembang dalam masyarakat, mahasiswa jadi lebih berani mengambil keputusan jika dihadapkan dalam situasi tertentu sehingga bisa menjadi problem solver, mahasiswa merasa jauh lebih kreatif dan inovatif, dapat meningkatkan kerjasama antar anggota kelompok sehingga solidaritas mereka meningkat, mahasiswa juga bisa memilih nilai mana yang paling tepat diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari setelah diperkuat dengan penampilan sosiodrama.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms and meanings of Jambi Malay phrases in Jambi Tulo Village, Maro Sebo District, Muaro Jambi Regency. The method in this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. Data collection in the study of Jambi Malay phrases was obtained through several research techniques, namely interview techniques, listening techniques, recording techniques, and note taking techniques. The amount of data obtained in this research on Jambi Malay phrases is 31 utterances of Jambi Malay. Based on data analysis, it was found that phrases in Jambi Malay can be distinguished into (a) endocentric phrases which include coordinating endocentric phrases, appositive endocentric phrases, and attributive endocentric phrases. (b) exocentric phrases consisting of directive and non-directive exocentric phrases. The forms of phrases in Jambi Malay are based on phrase categories, namely verbal, nominal, numeral, adjective, and prepositional phrases. The meaning relationship between the elements in Jambi Malay phrases are the meanings of verb phrases, noun phrases, numeral phrases, and prepositional phrases

Abstract

Based on the results of improving learning carried out through Classroom Action Research (CAR), it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media can improve the skills of writing explanatory texts at SMK Negeri 1 Palembang class XI AKL 1 in Indonesian subjects with the sub-subjects of explanatory texts as follows.  The results obtained by students during the learning improvement activities in the first cycle of students who have obtained a score of 70 reach 17 students with an average score of 59, the student activity score is 44% and the learning completeness is 50%.  Then the second cycle of students who get a score of 70 reaches 31 students with an average score of 83, the student activity rate is 91% and the learning completeness has reached 91%. Thus the desired target has been achieved and student learning outcomes have reached the KKM

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe  the form of conveying the psychological aspects of the psychiatric form contained in the poems of the Jambi poet Ari Setya Ardhi. Jambi poet means a poet who lives in the Jambi area, actively works, and always documents his rhymes in individual anthologies and joint anthologies. This research includes descriptive research with a content analysis approach to documents in the form of literary works. The data in this study are rhyme texts that refer to the psychological aspects of the psychiatric form of depression and the psychiatric form of anxiety. The results showed that in the poems of the Jambi poet Ari Setya Ardhi depression was identified through the use of sounds, word choices, complete text, typography, and the use of imagery

Abstract

The phenomenon of the presence of LGBT groups in Indonesia has been discussed for a long time. Marked by the emergence of the first openly gay organization, namely Lambda Indonesia on March 1, 1982, since then until now LGBT groups have tried to show their existence in the public space. This is done as an effort so that their existence can be accepted and recognized in society. The objective of this research is to describe how online media in Jambi Province positions LGBT news. And knowing the framing and application of ethics in reporting on LGBT. The research was conducted using qualitative methods with library research by exploring theories and their relationships or with the influence between each variable sourced from books, journals, and others, both offline in the library, and obtained online from the internet. During the period June-September 2022, Tribunjambi.com reported a lot about the Erayani case. There are 103 stories published by this media by taking various reporting perspectives. Jambi Independent in total there are 12 stories that have been published on their media portal. Jambi Update Online Media contains 12 news stories. Metrojambi.com contains 18 news published by Metrojambi.com until September 1, 2022. Meanwhile, Jambina.com only contains one news. The report was published on June 21, 2022. In framing the news on the LGBT case regarding the Erayani case, both online media Tribunjambi.com, Jambi Independent, Metrojambi.com, Jambi Update, and Jambina.com are not much different.

Abstract

Basically the implementation of Early Childhood Education is very important in the State of Indonesia because it aims to form a complete human personality, namely to form character, character, intelligence, skills and have devotion to the Almighty God. Early Childhood Education begins with family education, this is meant to be education from parents or other parties closest to the child himself. From various educational institutions, PAUD can provide the best service for the people as well as policy makers, starting from the central government to regional governments. In this research the researcher uses qualitative research, because the researcher will try to tell and understand the facts or descriptions according to the phenomena in the field without exercising hegemony over the conditions that occur. This study aims to find out the vision, mission and goals of PAUD, to find out the management carried out by this PAUD, to find out the implementation of the programs that have been made to achieve the vision, mission and goals of PAUD. The management of PAUD in Pelangi Kindergarten is enough good. Where the kindergarten already has a clear organizational structure, the vision and mission offered are also attractive, and have reliable teachers
