In addition, we proposed thequestions as follows: What are the general phenomena and the fact explanationthat can be asked on Coffee Shop as the hedonics style of the juvenile? Theresults of the studies based on evolutionism and the Islamic morality show thatthe characteristics of adolescents who tends to apply impulsive, love being thecenter of attention, tend to be part of it, and sensitive to new innovations tosupport hedonistic lifestyle trend. Such a lifestyle, it is a form of expression ofthe experimental behavior of teenagers held to try something new. Experimentalbehavior is still considered fair if it does not display a pattern of behavior that ismore dominant in the pleasures of life rather than learning. Islam's messageindicates that a life oriented to flesh and ignore the spirit is a mistake.

Abstract

The Modernists believe that human can only build himself thoroughly when he practices desacralization towards himself and moves to something profane, while the Traditionalists maintain that they are open for something sacred and should even achieve the stage of hierophanny that reveals chastity and eternity. This article explores the latter, however. It attempts to elaborate Eliade’s thought on a tradition in Java, namely Nyadran—one of the religious rituals or ways to respect and celebrate the spirits—as it presents the manifestation of the sacred or what Eliade calls as hierophanny. It discusses first about Mircea Eliade, particulary the critics and analysis on his works as well as the explanation on his views on the sacred and the profane and also on the myth and symbol; it then discusses Nyadran ritual itself in relation to Eliade’s conception. Keywords: sacred, profane, nyadran, symbols, myths

Abstract

This paper aims to reveal the historical background of the emergence of traditions and ceremonies memayu and ider - ideran Trusmi, and the reason why the tradition still survives and sustainable amid modern society has today. To discuss both the subject matter, the author uses the theory of functionalism Bronislow Malinowski. Data were collected through observations, interviews and documentation. The approach used is qualitative method. From the results of this study found that Trusmi name is formed from two words, which continues and spring means constantly growing. The origins of this name originated from the story of Ki Gede Bambangan who was sitting in front of his cabin after cleaning the yard of grass. Suddenly there are greetings that do not know exactly where it comes from that voice. Then miraculously suddenly all the grass and weeds that had already cleared it grows back so pruning becomes useless. When he looked around with astonishment mingled irritation, suddenly, two men are walking towards him while greeting, "Assalamu" Sounds Sapan was apparently derived from the prince Cakra Buana and Sunan Gunung Jati. Ultimately stems from the peristiwa Ki Gede Bambangaan embraced Islam andis called Trusmi area. That is an area where the grass is constantly growing back. Special on Trusmi Mosque, memayu ceremony performed to replace the roof of the mosque which was made of welit as tiled and wood as their frames. Welit replacement was performed in preparation for the change of seasons from the dry to the rainy season. One year as a number welit periodic replacement. Furthermore memayu also serve as a means for society as earth alms - area three to start the season. The hope someday to give blessings and harvest will be successful. Regardless of people's beliefs about memayu , this rite is an expression of ingratitude given God Almighty . Therefore it can be concluded that the tradition memayu and ider - ideran Trusmi village is a series of sacred rituals which also includes the values of culture that to this day is still preserved by the Cirebon people, especially the villagers Trusmi .

The relation between Islam and Javanese culture can be expressed in various aspects, including the interrelation and acculturation, in which both of them are the transformation of Islam into Javanese culture that has been adopted by the Java community before the advent of Islam. Interrelation and Islamic acculturation can take place easily in Java due to the open culture of Java to the presence of other cultures so that Islamic culture can go hand in hand with the culture that has been embraced by the population before the arrival of Islam in Java. The linkage between the traditions and Javanese culture is strongly associated with the teachings of Islam, especially in the fields of aqidah and syariah or Islamic law. Keywords: Interrelation, acculturation, transformation.
