Abstract

Hajj is one of the compulsory worship in Islam for every Muslim whohas an ability to carry it out. Pilgrimage has given a new color to the newhistory of the struggle against colonialism in Indonesia, one of which isindicated by the emergence of Islamic political organizations in the period 1900-1945 AD. Hajj activities affect the attitudes and political organization with the emergence of Islamic political organizations were represented by Syarikat Islam then turned into PSII and Permi (Indonesian Muslim Unity Party). This study examines by looking at changes in thinking that occur after the pilgrimage to the effects of the birth of political organization. Changes may include an understanding of the religion and the political ideology thought to unify the spirit of unity of Muslims in this country, to fight for freedom and the struggle against the colonialist.Keywords: Hajj, political organizations, struggle

Abstract

Market has an important role for the labors of trading economic market.In the structure of sultanate economic, Bandar city and Palace city are as thehighest central market networking for the intermediate market center out of theother area from Bandar city and palace and also as local market at the village.Thus, the market is divided in hierarchical networks of centers of economicactivity into the countryside in accordance with the mutual economic relationsbetween the two sides, the city Bandar or the palace and the rural areas. Marketin Banten is the center of trade, both international and local itinerant trade. Inaddition the market in Banten is also an exchange center and a meeting ofprominent merchants and ship captains. Market in Banten is income for Sultanand the government. Sultan not only gets tax from the trading in market but alsoas the resource to get benefit from the trading. Market can be a symbolic ruler.With the market, it can be said that safety is assured in the region to conduct thetransaction. Thus the authorities failed to provide protection to be consideredsubjects for the peaceful conduct of economic activity

Abstract

The Indonesian language mistake to write Thai speakers is a complicated issue for foreign speakers because they tend to discuss writing out spoken language. This language error will result in the failure of the message due to misinterpretation, not understanding what is being said, and redundancy of words or phrases. This study focuses more on writing errors because errors in writing languages are more easily detected. This is because writing languages require punctuation completeness, diction accuracy, and structural precision. This paper describes forms of Indonesian error in Thai linguists' written language. Data were obtained from the Thai learner's daily duty book. The data is then identified and classified based on the error. Data were analyzed qualitatively-prescriptive. That is, the data is analyzed by describing the forms of errors that are guided by the rules of using the correct written Indonesian language. The conclusion of this study shows that the errors of written language conducted Thai learner occurs at all levels of language, namely the level of phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and discourse. At the phonological level, language errors are found in pronunciation due to phoneme changes. At the morphological level, there are errors in the absence of affixes. At the syntactic level, errors are in placement conjunction errors, absence of prepositions, and improper structures. At the semantic level, the hyperbolic meaning and the error of diction. At the discourse level, there is a misplacement of place deixis. In addition, there are also errors in the application of the Indonesian Spelling (EBI) rule which includes errors in writing of absorbed words and misplacement of punctuation.

Abstract

Sultan Sulaiman I is the greatest Muslim statesman of his time. The title "Al- Qanuni" was awarded for his services in establishing the laws of the Islamic Ottoman Empire. His reign was the longest compared to those of other Sultans, namely forty-four years. During his reign, the Ottoman Empire reached its peak of development. Sulaiman managed to conduct a military expedition to Europe, seized Vienna, Hungary, Persia, and all along the Arabic coastal areas as well as re-seized Hijaz region. Sulaiman was also an artist, more particularly a literary man. His works, among others, were some ghazal and diwan (collections of poems). He also wrote a copy of the Quran using his own handwriting, which is now stored properly in the Great Mosque of Sulaiman. He was an intelligent, fair, noble sultan and did a lot of important policies such as settingOttoman iqtha, preparing the legislation, doing reconciliation, setting the police, and establishing madrassa, schools colleges, and many magnificent buildings, including the Mosque of Sulaimaniyah. Abstract

AbstractCommentary of al-Ibrīz and commentary of al-Huda are the twocommentaries of the Qur'an that accommodate the local culture, particularly inJava. Culture accommodation occurs mainly in the realm of language, namely Java language. It is because language as the instrument of articulation to transfer cultural values. In addition, Javanese language also used in al-Ibrīz commentary and al-Huda commentary. The usage of Javanese language in everycommunication always need cultural values which is articulated and stated to the reader through the interpretation of God statements in Qur’an with the complex and unique method. It is also used tricky psycho-cultural aspect. The differences of cultural accommodation from the both of two books of commentary and consistency in using Javanese cultural concepts, depth discussion in linking values or concepts of Javanese culture, as well as compliance with the application of the values of Javanese culture. Al-Ibrīz commentary where the author was born in the coastal area of Java tend to be inconsistent, the discussion is not exhaustive, and less adhere to the applicationof Javanese cultural values. While the al-Huda commentary which is the writer has Javanese cultural background inland tend to be consistent, deep, and adherence to social values and culture in the Java community.Keywords: al-Ibrīz commentary, al-Huda commentary, Javanese culture.

Abstract

Prince Dipanegara when he was child called as Bendoro Raden Mas Ontowiryo, born in Yogyakarta, 11 November 1785 and died in Makasar South Sulawesi, 8 January 1855. He was as the first son of Hamengku Buwono III, and his mother’s name  Raden Ajeng Mangkarawati. Because of her kindness in Java war, she received designation as the national hero. The heritage trail of Islam which was done by Dipanegara was still available and could be found to the present, even though in the form of pieces. In example, stone relief for pedestals of mosque. Now, the relief stones are used for pedestals and put in front of the male cave. It is used for sitting place for the visitors.            This research uses history method in which located around of  Pajangan District. The theory used here is change and response from Arnold J. Toynbee. Then the researcher uses behavioral approach.  This method is not only related to one event but also address to the historical actor and real situation. During the Islamic process, Dipanegara got support from his loyal followers and also supported by people around this place.

Abstract

The concept of happiness is the eternal concept that always be contemporer thing, it means that the concept of happiness will never run out of the discussion and will always be the contemporary issues. People in the past, today, and in the future they will have the same orientation about the happiness. The concept of happiness is indeed not new in the world of philosophy and sufism, so it has several experiences in the dynamics of the development.  Al-Farabi was a Muslim and philosopher who discussed the concept of happiness. Although, al-Farabi was not the first person who discussed this concept, al-Farabi had his own concept in explaining happiness and had different with the previous philosophers. Happiness according to al-Farabi is the kindness who desired for good itself. Second, there are four ways to obtain happiness according to al-Farabi, namely intention and will, understanding of good deeds, having four virtues, and having a central virtue (moderate). Third, the moral and happiness relationship according to al-Farabi has  good character is a sign that person’s soul is healthy, if a person’s soul is healthy it means that he/she can enjoy various kinds of spritual happiness.

Abstract

In a general sense, diplomacy is all that is done in managing the relations between nation-states. While the core action substantially diplomacy is negotiation, i.e. how each party attempting to solve all sorts of disputes emerging between the two countries or more. Thus “Clean Diplomacy” in this sense can be meant as a concept or action accountable negotiations, transparent and fair for all parties involved in the dispute between countries. This paper is written for understanding more about nor value concept “Clean Diplomacy” from the perspective of Islamic thought. Analyze more deeply on how to enact Islamic values “clean” diplomacy in negotiations.Keywords: Diplomacy, negotiation, an Islamic perspective

Abstract

This article discusses the contribution of Ibnu Khaldun for the writingof Islamic history. The theme is still considered important in light of efforts toreconstruct the sequence of events of Islamic history still required to be done forthe needs of the present time. This study is based on the research literature ofIbnu Khaldun's writings and other writings that are relevant. The results of thissimple study show that the figure of a medieval historian has a very valuablecontribution to the preparation of the next Islamic history. He has made a sharpcriticism to the mistakes of the previous writing on Islamic history and offers theessential principles for further reforms of Islamic history writing.

Abstract

Policy analysis is closely related to the political system with the content of communication and the use of knowledge relevant to the policy is central to the practice and theory of policy analysis. Only when knowledge of the kebiajakn-making process is communicated within the process can policy actors use such knowledge to improve public policy.The methodology of policy analysis is the standard system, the rules and procedures for creating, critically appraising, and communicating knowledge relevant to the policy. The methodology of policy analysis has several key characteristics: high attention to the formulation and problem solving, commitment to a descriptive and value-critical assessment and the desire to improve the efficiency of choice among a number of policy alternatives.This paper describes the nature and history of public Islamic education policy where the Ministry of Religious Affairs RI as the policy holder and UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta as implementer or implicated from the policy. Starting from the preparation of the agenda, policy formulation, policy adoption, policy implementation and policy assessment. Based on interviews and documentation conducted by the author. Especially want to answer the question of why every ministry has an educational institution, whereas there is already a national education ministry that regulates education in Indonesia, so there is a presumption that the existence of distrust with the ministry of national education as education providers
