Abstract

This study aims to design a computer workstation that can be adjusted for employees to provide convenience and comfort in work. Data collection is done on employees at CV. Sri Lestari includes anthropometry of employee bodies and anthropometry of computer desks and chairs with direct measurement methods using a measuring ruler. The data obtained was carried out uniformity test, data adequacy test and percentile calculation and then the comfortable table-chair design were carried out for CV employees. Sri Lestari. The method used in this design is the anthropometry approach. The anthropometric approach is used to determine the dimensions of a computer workstation. Percentile 5 is used to identify aspects related to range, while 95th percentile is to determine dimensions about the dimensions of space. The results showed that from a comparison of sizes, computer tables that exist today regarding extent are sufficient by the user anthropometry and appropriate for the minimum needs of a computer desk for employees of CV. Sri Lestari. Its just that the size of the computer chair needs to be considered. If this is necessary to adjust the computer chair. The design of a computer workstation that can be modified can provide convenience and comfort for employees at work. The ability to adopt a product is a fundamental requirement in the design process.

Abstract

CV. SDH Cilegon is engaged in construction services in carrying out production process activities; companies still experience product failures caused by humans, raw materials, machinery, methods and the environment and factors that often occur are humans because all production activities are carried out by humans, including machine operation. For work methods, returning to human factors again where the wrong approach to work can result in disability in production. Raw materials and the environment also affect the defects that arise. Sixty-three units dent failures that often occur; there are foreign bodies of 47 units, imperfect shape of 33 units, so the total number of defects is 143 units.

Abstract

The company uses the Gantt Chart method for scheduling planning, but this method has several disadvantages, that is, it cannot explicitly indicate the relationship between activities and how one activity results in other activities if the time is late or accelerated. To determine the optimal duration and the total cost of building 1 (one) Crude Storage Tank capacity of 600 MB (Mega Barrel) an optimization of the duration of the project is needed so that it can be known how long a project is completed and looking for possible acceleration of project time using the Critical method Path Method is a method used to make project scheduling. By using the Critical Path Method method the work of building 1 (one) Crude Storage Tank with a capacity of 600 MB (Mega Barrel) on the Open Access (Phase-1) RU-II Dumai project, can be completed within a period of 384 days / 64 weeks, and trajectory critical lies in the b-c-d-e-f-j-l activity with a total cost of Rp.15,086,074,328.

Abstract

The problem that occurs at this time is that the production process is often hampered and does not reach the set targets because the Rolling Stand 3 (mill section) machines are often damaged. Rolling Stand 3 machine (section mill) is used to form steel with a grinding process (rolling). The study was conducted using the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) method where Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is a systematic method for measuring the level of machine effectiveness. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) calculations can be gauged from actual data related to Availability, Performance Rate, and Quality Rate. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) is used as an indicator, to find out the causes of machine ineffectiveness done by calculating Six Big Losses to find out what factors influence the Six Big Losses. Based on the research results for the period January - December 2015 on Rolling Stand 3 (mill section) machines, the Availability value was 55.77%, Performance Rate 60.05%, Quality Rate 97.82% and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) was 32.86 %, meaning Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) below the standard value for world-class, which is 85%. To maximize overall machine effectiveness, improvements are needed to the factors that influence the low amount of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). When viewed from the six elements Six Big Losses, the greatest value is found in the Equipment Failure factor.

Abstract

Blast Furnace Complex is a new factory where there is no identification of potential hazards, the identification process of potential hazards also applies in the Feed water System area, which serves to continuously supply High Pressure Boiler Feed water as raw material for making Steam in Boilers. The process of identifying potential hazards aims to find out what potential hazards are found in the Feed water System area during work activities, so that preventive and risk control measures can be taken. This study uses the HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) method, which begins with determining the nodes, determining the operating parameters that occur at each node, then relying on guide words and the idea of the team to assess potential hazards, prevention that can be done and control efforts against potential hazards. . It was concluded from the results of the study that there were nine nodes with 11 operating deviations, of which all of the deviations were in the 9% Extreme Risk category, 18% for High Risk, 55% for Moderate Risk, and 18% Low Risk. for Extreme Risk is found at the Suction Pipe node HBF-CS4.0-11 with Less Pressure deviations caused by leakage on the HBF pipeline, with recommendations for patching at the point of leakage for emergency actions.

Abstract

These companies often experience difficulties caused by unscheduled and planned projects, material delays and lack of workforce for project work. From the problems that occur, this study aims to find activities that are critical trajectories for initial conditions and acceleration based on the Critical Path Method, to determine the difference in processing time from the initial conditions to acceleration conditions and to know the project cost advantages that occur between the initial conditions and conditions acceleration. CPM is a network-based method that uses a balance of time and cost. Each activity can be completed faster than regular time by crossing movements for a certain amount of charges. The method is used to find out when each event will begin and when it will be completed, data retrieval and research conducted at PT. DIHI. The results of the study showed that critical activity in the initial condition was for 253 days. While the acceleration activities of the total acceleration 208 days with 17 activities entered the critical path, from the results of these calculations the costs obtained from this project for the initial conditions were Rp 1,683,505,000, and the acceleration conditions were Rp 1,734,910,000.
