Abstract

(Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) proses pembuatan anyaman bambu lambar di Desa Tanjungsari Kecamatan Petanahan Kabupaten Kebumen, 2) Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Produksi lambar Di desa Tanjungsari Kecamatan Petanahan Kabupaten Kebumen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan analisis deskriptif. Sampel sejumlah 75 orang, ditentukan dengan mengaplikasikan rumus Yamane dengan presisi sebesar 10 %. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode analisis faktor produksi menggunakan uji regresi linear berganda. Analisis data menggunakan analisis fungsi produksi, analisis biaya produksi dan analisis kelayakan. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa proses pembuatan anyaman bambu lambar yaitu proses pengulitan dan pembelahan bambu, membuat iratan, penghalusan iratan, penjemuran iratan dan penganyaman (pembuatan lambar). Faktor produksi yang berpengaruh signifikan pada produksi lambar adalah iratan pendek, iratan panjang, modal kerja dan tenaga kerja dalam keluarga, sedangkan pengalaman usaha dan umur responden tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Determine the role of farmer groups on durian production in Kaligono village, Kaligesing sub-district, Purworejo district. (2) Determine the relationship of the role of farmer groups to durian production in Kaligono village, Kaligesing sub-district, Purworejo district. The research design used in the study is a survey method. The study population of all durian farmers who are members of farmer groups in the village of Kaligono, Kaligesing district, Purworejo district, amounting to 262 farmers. The sample of respondents studied was 73 durian farmers determined using the Simple Random Sampling method. Data collection instruments using questionnaires, analysis using Likert scale, and Rank Spearman. The results showed that based on the results of the analysis using the Likert scale, the overall role of farmer groups in durian production obtained an average score of 25.58, which means it was included in the medium category, where the role of each farmer group in durian production was the role of farmer groups as learning units and cooperation units fall into the medium category with percentages of 35% and 37%, while the role of farmer groups as production units falls into the low category with a percentage of 28%. The results of the analysis with Rank Spearman, it is known that there is a significant relationship between the role of farmer groups as a unit of cooperation with the close relationship that is quite strong and there is no significant relationship between the role of farmer groups as learning units and production units.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Determine the perceptions of corn farmers on the competency of agricultural instructors in Kaibon village, Ambal District, Kebumen Regency; (2) Find out what factors are related to the perception of corn farmers on the competency of agricultural instructors in Kaibon village, Ambal district, Kebumen district. The population in this study was all corn farmers in Kaibon village who tested 191 people. The study sample approved 66 people, determined by referring to, Yamane with an error rate of 10%. Sampling using a proportional random sampling technique. Data collection instruments using a questionnaire with a Likert scale. Data analysis uses the Spearman Rank revision. The results of the descriptive analysis in this study show that (1) the perception of corn farmers on the competency of agricultural instructors in program preparation, preparation of materials, media selection and application of methods in good categories, (2) using internal factors that connect corn farmers and external factors towards perception Corn farmers oppose the competency of agricultural instructors in program preparation, material preparation, media selection, and method application.

Abstract

The objectives of the study were to 1) determine the characteristics of rice seed breeder farmers in Purworejo Regency, 2) determine the relationship between internal and external factors with farmers 'decisions in conducting rice seed breeder farming, 3) determine the internal and external factors that influence farmers' decisions in conducting seed breeding farming rice. The sampling of the study area was determined based on purposive sampling. The chosen location is Purworejo Regency. Samples taken in the village of Awu Awu were 13 people, in Sukomanah village were 10 people, in Seborokrapyak village were 6 people, in Lugu village were 3 people, in Tunjungrejo village were 6 people. Determination of the number of samples based on a Likert scale. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The results showed that 1) formal education, availability of facilities and infrastructure, partnership support had a strong relationship with farmers 'decisions, while suitability with land aspects and ease of effort had a very strong relationship to farmers' decisions inbreeding seed farming, 2) partnership support had a significant influence on farmers' decisions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of elephant ginger (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) Juice on the percentage of carcasses, quail organs. The study was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Muhammadiyah University Purworejo. The research material used was 120 quail (Coturnix-coturnix Japonica) aged 3 weeks, ginger juice, and commercial feed. The tools used include cages to keep quails the size of each box is 39 cm, length 50 cm, and width 40 cm, feed and beverage containers, digital scales. The treatment provided in this study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. The care given is the level of ginger juice which is 0; 5; 10; 15; 20; 25% of the total commercial feed provided. The parameters observed were internal organs (giblets). The results of ginger juice supplement mixed with drinking water showed that the percentage of the liver did not have a significant effect (P> 0.05) with an amount of 2.72; 2,81; 2.91; 2.97; 2.76; and 2.91%. The percentage of heart has no significant effect (P> 0.05) of 0.75; 0.66; 0.79; 0.75; 0.79; and 0.75%. The percentage of gizzard has no significant effect (P> 0.05) with a total of 1.27; 1.19; 1,11; 1,11; 1.17; and 1.08%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the administration of elephant ginger extract (Zingiber Officinale Rosc.) In drinking water up to the level of 25% has no significant effect on quail and internal organs (giblets).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the potential ratio of lysine and methionine in the ration to the productivity of super native chickens. The research was conducted at the Field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry Study Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Purworejo. The material used was 100 super native chickens, lysine, methionine, commercial feed, rice bran, milled yellow corn. The study used a completely randomized design (CRD) consisting of 5 treatments and 5 replications. The treatment given is the ratio of lysine: methionine which is 0: 0; 0.5: 0.5; 0.6: 0.4; 0.7: 0.3; 0.8: 0.2 of the amount of ration given. The parameters observed were feed consumption, PBBH, conversion, and feed efficiency. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance, if there were differences continued with Duncan Test with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the ratio of lysine and methionine in the ration had no significant effect (P> 0.05) on the consumption of BK as much as 50.074 g; 58,142 g; 56,144 g; 57,638 g; and 56,110 g. PK consumption had no significant effect (P> 0.05) of 6.422 g; 6,432 g; 6,210 g; 6,376 g; and 6,206 g. PBBH had no significant effect (P> 0.05) of 15.520 g; 15,490 g; 15,542 g; 15,530 g; and 15,544 g. The conversion value of BK has no significant effect (P> 0.05) with a value of 0.268; 0.266; 0.278; 0.268; and 0.276. PK conversion value has no significant effect (P> 0.05) with a value of 2.420; 2,410; 2,508; 2,434; and 2,508. The efficiency of BK has no significant effect (P> 0.05) with a percentage of 26.766%; 26,660%; 27,730%; 26,950% and 27,724%. PK efficiency had no significant effect (P> 0.05) with a percentage of 242.012%; 241,044%; 250.726%; 243,692% and 250,674%. The ratio of lysine and methionine in the ration has the potential to increase the productivity of native chicken. Research on the ratio of lysine and methionine needs to be done in the ration to increase the productivity of super native chickens.

Abstract

Ginger juice (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) In drinking water against erythrocytes, hemoglobin, and quail hematocrit (Cortunix cortunix Japonica). Research conducted at the Field Laboratory of Animal Husbandry Study Program, Faculty of Agriculture, Muhammadiyah University, Purworejo and Laboratory of Clinical Pathology Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Gajah Mada University. The study used was a 3-week-old quail (Cortunix cortunix Japonica) of 120 animals. The material used is a commercial amount of 7 sacks (350 kg), and 57.75 liters (70 kg ginger) ginger juice. The tools used are for quail the size of each box is 39 cm high, 50 cm long, and 40. cm wide, feed and drinking containers, digital scales, containers/cooler boxes, syringes, and EDTA tubes. The treatment given in this study was given ginger juice as follows; (0%), (5%), (10%), (15%), (20%) and (25%) ginger juice. The method used in this study is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 preparations and 4 replications and each repetition consists of 5 quails. The parameters seen were erythrocytes, hemoglobin, and hematocrit. Supplementation of ginger juice mixed in drinking water on erythrocytes was not significant (P> 0.05) in the amount of 1.53, 1.39, 1.15,1.38, 1, 48, and 1.14 million / mm3. Hemoglobin was significantly different (P <0.05) with levels of 10.29, 18.81, 13.05, 15.59, 10.91 and 11.13 g / dl. Hematocrit was not proven real (P> 0.05) with the percentage of 31.63, 32.00, 33.00, 34.63, 33.13, and 38.00%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that this study offers elephant ginger extract (Zingiber officinale Rosc.) At doses of 5 and 15% can increase blood hemoglobin levels of quails. Nevertheless, the results of the study gave the essence of stitching to provide coverage to the number of bird blood erythrocytes below the normal amount.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the potential of Cosmos caudatus Kunth leaf flour as feed ingredients to improve the physical quality of quail eggs (Cortunix cortunix Japonicum) which are stored for 1 week at room temperature. The study was carried out at the Integrated Animal Husbandry Laboratory of Muhammmadiyah University, Purworejo. 120 female quails were placed in 24 enclosures. The ingredients used are Cosmos caudatus Kunth leaf flour (TDK) and commercial quail feed. Seals were taken as many as 48 eggs. The treatments given were S0 (0%), S1 (5%), S2 (10%), S3 (15%), S4 (20%) and S5 (25%). The method uses a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The parameters taken were egg yolk color, egg white index value, egg yolk index value, white pH value, and egg yolk. The results showed that giving Cosmos caudatus Kunth leaf flour had no significant effect (P <0.05) on the yolk color score of 7.88; 7.50; 7,12; 7.25; 7.38 and 7.25. The index value of egg white did not significantly affect (P <0.05) of 0.037; 0.034; 0.037; 0.034; 0.033 and 0.029. Yolk index value had no significant effect (P <0.05) of 0.39; 0.43; 0.48; 0.45; 0.48 and 0.43. Egg yolk pH value had no significant effect (P <0.05) of 6.13; 5.50; 5.56; 5.56; 5.44 and 5.63. The pH value of egg white significantly affected (P> 0.05) with a value of 9.19; 8.81; 8.75; 9.25; 9.50 and 9.56. Supplementation with Cosmos caudatus Kunth up to a dose of 25% cannot improve the physical quality of quail eggs (Coturnix-coturnix Japonicum) which are stored for 1 week at room temperature. Further research on Cosmos caudatus Kunth leaf flour needs to be done.
