Abstract

Wayang Kulit purwa is an original product of Indonesia culturewhich develops in accordance with the rise and fall of the kingdoms inJava Island. It has tremendous influence towards the development ofart and culture in our homeland. It was initiated by the Giyanti treatyin 1755 which split Mataram kingdom into two and it also affect thedevelopment of the wayang which goes hand-in hand with style improvementon art works. History exP.Iains that the wayang located inkeraton Yogyakarta is the legacy of several provious kings in Mataramkingdom. Sultan Hamengku Buwana I using his authority and attentiontowards arts and culture, with no exception to wayang kulit pUiwa. Succeededin bringing it to his new palace, which is in keraton KasultananYogyakarta. The development of the Yogyakarta-styled wayang inkeraton Yogyakarta always refers to the previous collection of wayangwhich is usually called kanjeng kyai, so does the wayang developed inthe keraton Surakarta. Eventually, the Yogyakarta styled wayang purwapreserves the previous style more. Which is popularly known as classicstyle, while the Surakarta styled wayang kulit purwa has shown somechanges and development from the exsiting one and it is called romanticclassic style. it is reflected from the visualization of the wayang byanalyzing the implication of the crafts shape and the use of the colorsare more striking and varying.Keyword: wayang kulit, purwa, style

Abstract

Karaton Yogyakarta as a centre of javanis culture, that it stillhave many adat and tradition in a good care. Ones of them is WeddingCeremony. This ceremonial is tobe accompanied by gending gending.Every Gending-s must be played appropriate to official prosesion.The House institution use gending Karawitan, gending S~mar Mantu,gending Bindri, gending Ladrang Pengantin, gending Prabu Mataramand Raja Manggala, gending Sri Kundur and gending Tedhak Saking,gending Mas Kumambang, gending Boyong, gending Kodhok Ngorek,gending Munggang, gending Sekatenan, gending Runtung, gendingKutut Manggung, gending Lambangsari, gending Bondhet and gendingSida Asih in panggih and reseption procession .All wedding ceremony in Yogyakarta House use composition ingarap saran such as gending Semar Mantu. Here is several ekslusivegending that only be played in Karaton Yogyakarta, that is Prabu Mataram,gending Raja Manggala, gending Sri Kundur. gending TedhakSaking, gending Kodhok Ngorek and gending Munggang, while othersgending that is gending Semar Mantu should be played by public peoplein reception and panggih procession. Abstract

Visual perception is one thing that is important for interior designers.The ability of how to view and respond to an order to be a learningdesign in achieving the satisfaction and development of artistic insight.Perception was present and spoke not be separated from an object ofperception, in this study selected objects based on purposive samplingof Via-Via Cafe, Janur Cafe, and K-Meal's restaurant in Jalan Prawirotamanand Tirtodipuran Yogyakarta with variable subjects (foreign tourists)were randomly. This research is descriptive and qualitative methodsof data analysis done by the field data acquisition process is furtl1ercommunicated in the form of descriptive writing and conclusions. Thisstudy aimed to answer the formulation of the problem, namely the visualperception of foreign tourists in the interior of Via-Via Cafe, CafeJanur. and K-Meal's Resto Yogyakarta with variable lighting, colors andshapes. Visual perception of foreign tourists in the interior of Via-ViaCafe is a bright, warm, relaxed I casual, lively. comfortable, inviting,attractive, simple, artistic, natural, fun, 11ommy. modern, universal atmosphere,style living room, family atmosphere, functional. spacious,sweet I beautiful, alive, creative, unique, traditional I ethnic, tranquil,tropical, and life. While tl1e perception on the interior ligl1ting Janur Cafeis enough (not too bright or dark) and dark, monotonous, warm. romantic,relaxed, flat, inviting, interesting, life, close I warm, a little crowded,ethnic, natural, universal I touristic, l1ommy. fun, convenient, simple,and creative. Visual perception in tl1e interior of K-Meal's restaurantis near I warm. comfortable, lively. relaxed, simple, elegant, attractive,inviting, fit, functional, does not fit, creative, and aesthetically. Can beseen that foreign respondents prefer something with a touch of tropicalnatural concept, simple but comfortable and warm, the combination oflocal I traditional and western I cosmopolitan, open space (open terraceI Verandah) with an open kitchen.Keywords: visual perception, interior, cafes and restaurants.

Abstract

Every art and culture development in Indonesia always relatedwith social, politics, ecomonic and cultural, including in religious andbelieved life of the entire society. That conditions push the change anddevelopment so that was evident there is pra-Hinduism, Islam, andWestern culture. Culture product that being produced in various forms,making techniques, and philosophy that influence behavior in a holistic,including the child's play activities life. Play activities help child to createexperience, acknowledge, and skill, so that in next developmentsteps child can be brave, spontaneous, creative, imaginative, and responsive.Those activities used as a relaxation media to release stressand a/so intrinsic complex value transformation field and examinationin light have a meaningful to the formation of the child's personal. Thecomplexity of that value gives a chance to the different creativities ofchild, so that end of a toy that being made in beach environment differentwith a toy that developed in the rural place. Abstract

The selection of photography work object wes not elways inthe beautiful shape. The uniqueness of an object could become its ownattraction end inspiration in creating the photogrephy work. The expres~sion of the composition and vlsuelizetion in a work art became the char~acteristlc of the artist himself.Gural Kerat was a concept of pt1otogrephy work ert which ex~plored the shepe, texture and color of the rust of mete!, especleily inthe rust of iron. We could explore the simple items in our surroundngwhich were not longer used and a/reedy broken. The iron which wasrusted hed its own uniqueness and attraction to obseNe. The chengeof the characteristic and the shape was vety contrast. Before beingrusted, the surface of the iron would be smooth, but after being rusted,the surface would be rough and the color would chenge. It wes a resultof rusting process of the iron itself. The phenomenon eventually stimu~lated the researcher to teke the rust theme of the iron es an object inthis photography work art creation.In arranging this photography work, the researcher used es-thetictheory of Monroe Beardsley which listed three basic estheticcharacteristics as follow: unity, intensity end complexity.The visual work in 3D display created the imege of space anddimension in this work. Colese technique was used in creating this workby combining 2D photography work and the object in the original itemin the photography work itself, or using the construction which was suit~able with the stuck object which was adjusted with the weight of thatobject.
