Abstract

ABSTRACTIn general, design of Cata111ara11 passe11ger boats have been mostly made of FRP or aluminum materials. Tl1e sclectio11 of FRP or Aluminum material has an influence on the value of the lioats main di111msio11s, especially relating to the draft, speed, power, passenger capacity and displacement. HaPi11g m1alyzcd tile 111ain dimensions of both FRP and aluminum boats for the same passenger capaci~/ by using parametric ratio and regression analysis, It has been found that the majorihJ of boat main dimension values of FRP Catamaran is larger, among others, are 49 % for the lengtll (L), 0.34% for the breadth (B), 47% for the high (D), 62% for the speed (V), and 74% for tile engine power (HP). However, the other dimensions of FRP Catamaran namely the draft (T) and the displacement are 0.86% and 34%smaller respectively. For thesame value of length for both types of boats, the result of statistical analysis stated that most of tile major dimension of Aluminiun1 Catamaran boats appears to be larger, among others, are about 48% for tile breadth  B), 1 % for the high (D), 50% for the draft (f), 130% for th Displacement (weight of the ship), 20% for HP (engine power) and 48% for passenger capacity. Hmvever, speed (V) and engine power (HP) of FRP Catamaran boats are 33% and 20% higher respectively.Key Words:. Comparison, main dimensions, passenger Catamaran, FRP, Aluminum

Abstract

ABSTRACTLion Air is a p1ivate airli11e tlzat serves tlze largest domestic airline in Indonesia, Tlze airline already serves 28 domestic routes a11d routes 4 i11temasio11al. Tlze lziglz lroel of airline service on domestic flights Lion Air needs to be supported with the amount of Juel. Therefore, it is necessary to discuss the maximum airline fuel consumption in order to meet the high demand for domestic flights. The result of the study shaved that the maximum consumption of Juel required by the PT. Lion Air roen; day for 11 288 Kl. Key Words: Juel consumption, Lion Air, domestic flight

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study hies to analyze the phraseology of the officer in Makassar Advenced Air Traffic Services (MAATS). The officers in MAATS consist of the officer of Aerodrome Control (ADC). Approach co11trol (APP). Area Control Center (ACC I, ACC II). They are expecting not nuzking any mistakes due to the language of pilotage airline traffic which caused by hasty speech and slip of the tongue since the difference of language dialect/ accent the foreigh pilots which come from many countries. The error in measuring the value contained in the region of 85% -95% may be norm control (tolerance) by the management by objective measurements of the work. Whereas in 2 (two) years in 2009 and 2010 never happened Breackdown of Separation (BOS) but in 2010 the ACC officers never happened Breackdown of Coordination (BOC) caused by weather and soon coordination through the equipment to the equipment connectivit  CPDLC (Controller Pilot Data Link Communication) so that it can be confirmed. Key Words: phraseology (language) pilotage ADC, APP and ACC.

Abstract

ABSTRACTTraffic congestion is a common cities problem. 111e sihwtion happened because of the imbalanced between demand -siqrply of the roads and the amount of vehicles. Many solutions have been carried out to solve the problem but only solve partially, the solution should be integratedsystem between infrastructure network and service nehvork, together in one good system. Optimation road transportation network in cities use dynamic balanced scorecard methode, is approach be plan with concept integration management strategic theory(balanced scorecard) and technic transportation theory (4 step models : trip generation, trip distribution, modal split, traffic assignment), and supporting by dynamic programming. The goal of the research is to improve the quality and quantity of the infrastructure network and effectivity-effisiency of the service network, so achive balanced traffic at the end traffic become safty, normally, and fluently. This condition, its mind fuel consumtion low. Key performance indicator (KPI), decided by technic guidence from the transportation ministry, the public work ministry, and the other referency.Key Words : infrastructure, service network, traffic congestion, traffic modelling, dynamic programming, balanced scorecard

Abstract

ABSTRACTTirerc is a serious problem 011 Public transportation in Singaraja city dealing with tire increasingnumber of 111otora;cle lzas declined people interest to use public transport. People feel more comfortable using 111otorcycles for tlzeir daily activities. As the conequense urban public transport seruices in Singaraja lzas not reached local road. Since the rates charged are quite e:xpensive as well. TJ1iere fore people pr~fer to use public private titan transport vehicles. this condition may bring public transportation in Si11garaja get worst. Two methods are carried out to calculate the quality of public transport services first accordance witlz the standards of the Directorate General of Land Transportation Ministry of Transportation and second, utilize tlze nzetlwd of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Based on the results due to the standards of tire Directorate General of Land Transportation Ministry of Transportation the city transportation in Singaraja still have good performance. While the result analysis of Importance Pe1formance Analysis (IPA) showed that 15 factor indicators, three factors indecated has a good perfomiance vehicle that is hygiene, driver peiformance and the route, seven factors indicated not important perfonnance and less priority by the transport users such as the walking time to the destination, no need moving vehicle, easily get in and get out the vehicle, additional facilities (music, etc.) and travel cost. The factors are needed to be handling quite serious because it has a less peiformance and very important by respondents such as courteous service, seat comfort, tire physical conditio11 of public transport, vehicle speed and safety in vehicles.Key Words: public transport, services, Singaraja

Abstract

ABSTRACTTraffic violations is still not taken seriously in Indonesia, 111~for hmately gafe a big impact 011 regional income. This study discused about the impact tl1e implementation of traffic discipline on local income based on Law No. 21 of 2009. This study approaches the number of violations associated witli the penalties for violations. Observations was conducted in the morning, afternoon and evening for 2 hours which is a solid hour passengers. While the observations made to the vehicle who commits an offense within that period. Further estimated the average per day of violation for the incident and then calculated the amount of the fine revenue in certain periods. The results of the study found that the estimate of receipts relatively large fines which indicates the first violation ever occurred that indicate the presence of non-compliance of traffic regulations. The second penalty is the appropriate option to create a deterrent effect on the offense. Fines provide benefits to local government as a source of income as well as educate tire publictransportation drivers to obey the rules. In Malaysia, a fine policy can be effective because the workers are very disciplined and a beingof the rules. On the other hand it is designed with a simple mechanism in which fines violators will pay the fine at the time of extending the driver's license. This approach is effective for improving adherence offenders while keeping the fine revenue obviously go into the treasuryaccount.Key Words: traffic violations, discipline, Law No. 21 of 2009, revenues

Abstract

ABSmACTNumber of wooden-ships (people called them as kapal ojek) operated in 2011 are 34 vessels or equal to 1,199 gross tonnage and total capacity of 1,833 passengers. Since many accidents of ships occurs and to be public concern, the author is interested to make research in order to evaluate sea worthiness of their stability and users' opinion. 17tere are 5 aspect of opinions to be collected among others safety equipments, timeliness and ships availability, security and comfort, crews competencies, and tariff. Users' opinion is analyzed by using the Importance performance Index and Customer Satisfaction Index The results shows that many variables are still needed to improve tlmt could enhance the service performance of those ships. 17teir stabilities are relatively in good condition, but should always consider to loading and weather conditions because the ships are made of woods and low of freeboards. Keywords : ship safety, ship seaworthiness, ship stability
