People with DM (diabetics) will generally experience obesity as a manifestation of metabolic changes in insulin and leptin hormones. The high variation in body weight and height and the many problems of controlling blood sugar levels in people with diabetes mellitus, researchers want to identify the relationship between Body Mass Index and HbA1c in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients at Bangil Hospital. This study uses correlation analytics with a cross-sectional approach to determine the relationship between body mass index and HbA1c levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Bangil Hospital using consecutive non-random sampling techniques totalling 80 respondents. Data collection was carried out by means of laboratory examinations to see HbA1c data and blood glucose levels, while data regarding the patient's Body Mass Index (BMI) was taken by measuring body weight and height. The results of bivariate analysis conducted with the Chi-Square test approach showed that there was a significant relationship between body mass index and HbA1c (p-value = 0.000; α < 0.05). HbA1c is the gold standard for assessing blood glucose homeostasis. HbA1c is a single accurate test to assess long-term glycaemic status and is useful in all types of DM. One of the efforts that can be done to reduce blood glucose levels is by achieving good nutritional status through BMI.

This research aims to determine the impact of screen time on the development of toddlers in the city of Surabaya. After distributing questionnaires to residents of the city of Surabaya who have children under five, 110 respondents were obtained who filled out questionnaires to become supporting data for this research. The results of this study show that screen time given to toddlers with a period of less than 1 hour per day will result in better sleep quality, because children will get enough sleep for at least 10 hours per day consisting of naps and nighttime sleep. Apart from that, it will produce more toddler play activities so that toddlers will prefer playing with their friends rather than having to play alone with gadgets. Giving children less than one hour of screen time per day will result in better toddler socialization activities. Toddlers will adapt more easily to their new environment and be more confident when they meet new people because their social psychology development is very good. Apart from that, toddlers have better eye and hand coordination, meaning that children's fine motor and gross motor development is also very good, as well as toddlers' better communication skills. Toddlers can answer their parents' calls more quickly and answer more quickly when their parents ask. Toddlers who can communicate both ways with their parents and other people indicate that their verbal and logical skills are very well developed.

This research aims to investigate the contribution of communities in the North Semarang sub-district to preventing and reducing integrated stunting. It also seeks to identify the challenges encountered in these efforts. This research demonstrates that villages play a crucial role in preventing and reducing stunting in the Bandarharjo Community Health Centre Working Area, North Semarang District. This is in accordance with Presidential Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 72 of 2021 and Semarang Mayor Regulation Number 45 of 2023. City of Semarang Regulation No. 27 of 2022 aims to speed up the reduction of stunting in Semarang by implementing a comprehensive plan that includes maternal and child health interventions, nutritional counselling, clean water and sanitation provision, and social protection services. Obstacles in preventing and reducing stunting in Bandarharjo village include inadequate socialisation about different communities' responses to stunting and insufficient provision of food and vitamin supplements for intervention activities. Society's culture and ideas often attribute a child's small stature to inheritance from their parents.

The nutritional status of children is crucial for promoting optimal growth and development. Picky food is one of the obstacles to achieving optimal nutritional status. Children who suffer from selective eating will develop the habit of selecting particular foods to consume and rejecting others. The purpose of this research is to examine familial assistance for children who suffer from picky eating. This study is a component of qualitative research that employs in-depth interviews with parents serving as informants. Additionally, observations were conducted on subjects, specifically children who exhibited picky feeding behavior. To gather data regarding selective eating, the Child's Eating Behavior Questionnaire (CEBC) was utilized. The subjects of the study were selected using a technique known as purposive sampling, in accordance with the research criteria: early infancy age, picky eating, and informant willingness to participate. A total of ten informants were acquired. Picky eaters are children who have developed the ingrained habit of declining novel food items. Children are fond of the flavor and texture of particular dishes. Children have a tendency to prefer the same foods and are unwilling to attempt new variations. The subjects of the study were five infants (fifty percent each) with excessive and normal nutrition. Children who exhibit picky feeding tend to select nutrient-poor, high-fat foods, resulting in overnutrition. The fact that certain foods cause fluctuating preferences in some children has no bearing on BB and TB. In response to a child's dislike of food, parents discontinue nourishment. When children exhibit a reluctance to try new cuisines, their parents attempt to console them without altering the food's appearance. Snacks are frequently provided to children who decline to consume staple foods. Support from parents is correlated with the food behavior of children who suffer from picky eating. Parents are encouraged to address this issue by selecting foods that meet the nutritional requirements of their children.

Dysmenorrhea, or menstrual pain, is a disruption in the flow of menstrual blood/pain during menstruation. If left untreated, dysmenorrhea can affect an individual's mental and physical function, necessitating non-pharmacological interventions. One such intervention is Pilates exercise. Pilates exercise can relax contracting muscles, stimulate the hypothalamus to produce endorphins as natural painkillers, resulting in a sense of comfort and reduced pain. This quasi-experimental study employed a non-equivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 15 adolescent girls selected through simple random sampling. Statistical analysis was conducted using the Wilcoxon test. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant p-value of 0.001 < 0.05 (p < α). Pilates exercise leads to increased elasticity of abdominal muscles and elevated oxygen levels. Additionally, prostaglandin hormones are released during menstruation, resulting in reduced pain. The body also stimulates the hypothalamus to produce endorphins as natural painkillers, inducing a sense of comfort. Pilates exercise has an effect on reducing menstrual pain in adolescents in the Luksongo hamlet of Tugurejo village, Ngasem district, Kediri regency. Therefore, adolescents are advised to incorporate Pilates exercise to alleviate dysmenorrhea without causing side effects.

Hypertension stands as a primary peril for cardiovascular ailments, potentially culminating in fatalities by inducing complications like heart disease, stroke, and kidney issues. This study scrutinizes the prevalence and risk factors associated with hypertension at Puskesmas Kedungrejo Muncar, Banyuwangi, spotlighting age and body mass index (BMI) as pivotal predictors. Employing a descriptive analytic method with a cross-sectional design, data was gathered through purposive sampling from 64 individuals. Findings unveil a significant correlation between advancing age and hypertension, aligning with previous research attributing this link to deteriorating cardiovascular function and arterial stiffness. Meanwhile, gender and educational attainment emerged as non-significant predictors, contrasting with the notable influence of BMI, with hypertensive individuals often exhibiting a normal BMI. These results accentuate the necessity of comprehending modifiable risk factors like BMI and emphasize the requisite for targeted interventions to combat hypertension in the community. Prevention and management endeavors ought to prioritize age-related considerations and initiatives aimed at fostering healthy BMI levels.
