Abstract

Indonesia telah menandatangani kesepakatan internasional Kyoto Protocol dalam upaya turut serta berkontribusi dalam mitigasi pemanasan global. Melalui dokumen Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) Indonesia berkomitmen untuk menurunkan emisi karbon sebesar 29% pada tahun 2030 secara mandiri atau sebesar 41% bila mendapat dukungan internasional. Fotobioreaktor merupakan sistem yang dapat diterapkan dalam upaya menahan  jumlah karbon dioksida yang dilepas melalui cerobong industri ke udara. Dengan mengumpankan gas karbondioksida yang diemisikan oleh cerobong ke dalam sistem fotobioreaktor di mana mikroalga ditumbuhkan maka alih-alih gas karbon dioksida di lepas ke udara dapat digunakan sebagai sumber karbon bagi mikroalga untuk bertumbuh dan berkembang. Penerapan teknologi fotobioreaktor dapat meningkatkan citra perusahaan sebagai Perusahaan Hijau yang memberikan daya ungkit selain kinerja lingkungan perusahaan juga potensi mendapatkan insentif ekonomi melalui Mekanisme Pembangunan Bersih. Meski demikian masih terdapat tantangan besar dalam penerapan fotobioreaktor mikroalga untuk mitigasi emisi karbon dioksida. Selain kendala dalam teknik pemanenan mikroalga juga keterbatasan laju serapan karbon dioksida oleh mikroalga. Kata kunci : fotobioreaktor, perusahaan hijau, mikroalga, karbon dioksida

Abstract

Pangkalan Susu Coal Fire Steam Power Plants (CFSPP) are planned to build in Tanjung Pasir Village, Langkat Regency taking sea water as cooling condenser of power plants, and through it back into the sea. To explore the possibilities of re-entry of the circulation of hot water to the intake, it is necessary to study the termal dispersion within the framework of those plans. In this study, numerical modeling to determine termal distribution pattern that comes out from CFSPP outlet. From the study it could be concluded that with the given intake inlet ? discharge outfall design configuration and under the worst scenario, cooling water system of Pangkalan Susu unit 3 4 is safe i.e. re-circulation of warmcooling water will not happen. The Pangkalan Susu unit 3 4 will consume intact sea water (30.5oC). However, the Pangkalan Susu unit 1 2 will be influenced by the warm cooling system that may decrease its cooling system efficiency since its inlet is covered by shattered sea water (31.2oC ? 32.2oC).keywords : thermal dispersion, power plant. numerical modeling

Abstract

There are two objectives of this research. First, to calculate water available and water need in the research area and second, to analysis the water balance. Water available cover rivers water and springs water, whereas water need cover domestic usage, industrial usage, rivers protect, cattle, fi shery and irrigation. As a result, show that the biggest water available in Central Java is in Serayu River Basin namely 8615.33 million m3/year, whereas the smallest is in Juana River Basin namely 88.39 million m3/year. In East Java, the biggest water available is in Downstream Bengawan Solo River Basin namely 26149.38 million m3/year, whereas the smallest is in Luminu Penguluran River Basin namely 45.26 million m3/year. Base on the water balance, the water balance of both province are also variatifl y. In Central Java, Serang-Lusi, Juana and Citanduy River Basin get water defi cit along years, whereas in East Java, it is just Luminu Penguluran River Basin that get defi cit along years. According the water surplus, Serayu River Basin in Central Java and Downstream Bengawan Solo River Basin in East Java get water surplus along years.Key words : water available, water need, water balance

Abstract

An evaluation of the Black Tiger Brood Stock (Penaeus monodon) genetic diversity of Pangandaran and Binuangeun was conducted by using the mtDNA diversity of two gene locus of CO I and 12S rRNA to understand their population genetic diversity. The result show that the brood stock of Pangandaran has 17 haplotipe, while from Binuangeun has 13 haplotipe. The result indicated that the genetic diversity of the Balck Tiger brood stock of Pangandaran was higher than thatBinuangeun.Key words : Genetic diversity, Black Tiger brood stock, Pangandaran, Binuangeun

Abstract

Ikan nila (Nile tilapia) Oreochromis niloticus adalah spesies ikan air tawar asal Afrika yang saat ini telah dibudidayakan di lebih 100 negara di dunia. Tahun 2004 produksinya hanya mencapai 97.116 ton, tetapi pada tahun 2009 produksinya dapat mencapai 378.300 ton atau terjadi peningkatan sebesar 289%. Mudahnya ikan nila berkembang biak menyebabkan ikan ini menjadi prioritas untuk pengembangan usaha dan industri budidaya ikan dan dikenal dengan julukan aquatic chicken atau ikan yang dapat dikembangkan seperti industri ternak ayam. Tujuan dari perekayasaan dan pengembangan ikan nila SALINA adalah untuk menghasilkan benih hibrida ikan nila SALINA toleran salinitas tinggi untuk mendukung pengembangan usaha budidaya perikanan, peningkatan produksi dan pemanfaatan lahan tambak idle yang luasnya mencapai 60 % dari 1,4 juta lahan tambak idle yang terbengkalai tidak termanfaatkan akibat kerusakan lingkungan dari program intensifikasi budidaya udang pada periode tahun 1980 an. kata kunci : rekayasa produksi ikan nila salina, perairan payau, wilayah pesisir

Abstract

The obyektive of the researcah is to know the effect of to the land fertility, regarded to soybeen production. The reserch use Complete Randemize Disign With One Way Analysis of Variance, Regression, and Correlation in order to know the effect of treatment to the land fertility. The research was carried out in Wonoharjo Village, Unit VIII Kuro Tidur Transmigration area, Bengkulu, during three planting season from 1999 to 2000. The result of the research showed that Flemengia congesta as a fence crop or hedgerows was segnifi cant to land fertility through improvement of nutriens availability, increasing pH, decreasing availability of aluminium (Al). The effect of organic matter from prunning ofthe hedgerows into the soil a high of 5,0 ton/ha will increase average soybenn production from 13,974 kw (dry grain) to 18,176 kw/ha or increase 30,07 %, whereas the effect of organic matter 5,0 ton/ha combained with dolomit 2,5 ton/ha will increase 43,00 %. The effect of organic matter 10,0 ton/ha combined with dolomit 2,5 ton/ha will increase average soybeen production from 13,974 kw/ha or increase 57,19%.Keywords: red yellow podzolic land, organic matter, dolomit, land produktivitas

Abstract

Abstrak Pembangunan rel kereta api memberi dampak positif dalam peningkatan transportasi tetapi disisi lain ada dampak negatif pada waktu proses pembangunannya yaitu pada waktu pembersihan lahan. Dampak ini berupapencemaran udara yang diakibatkan adanya kegiatan pembersihan lahandan transportasi material untuk melaksanakan pembersihan lahan maupunhasil dari kegiatan ini. Gangguan kesehatan misalnya ISPA (Infeksi SaluranPernafasan Atas), kanker pada paru-paru atau organ tubuh lainnya, penyakitpada saluran tenggorokan yang bersifat akut maupun kronis. Survei kuesioner dan wawancara tentang kesehatan masyarakat dan kesehatan lingkungan yang terdiri atas pola penyakit, tempat berobat responden, sumber air bersih, kepemilikan MCK (Mandi Cuci Kakus) dan kebiasaan membuang sampah telah dilakukan terhadap 420 responden masyarakat yang bertempat tinggal disepanjang jalur rel koridor Jakarta-Surabaya. Berdasarkan hasil survai tersebut dan konsentrasi pencemar di udara maka telah dihitung penambahan jumlah penderita ISPA akibat pencemaran udara dari kegiatan pembersihan lahan dalam pembangunan rel kereta api.Kata kunci : pencemaran udara, ISPA (infeksi saluran pernafasan atas),MCK (mandi cuci kakus)

Abstract

Babon Watershed (DAS) is one of the watersheds which one located are Central Java. It has been used as a source of raw water for agriculture, industry, drinking water and other household needs. That needs to be assessed the level of sustainability in watershed management of the raw water. This study aims to analyze the sustainability index and the status of management of raw water from the three dimensions of sustainability. Analysis methods used ?multidimensional scaling? (MDS) called Rap WARESMA. The results are expressed in index form and the status of sustainability. The analysis showed that the ecological dimension ofsustainability are at less status (26.54%), dimension less sustainable economicstatus (43.18%) and socio-cultural dimension to the status of sustainable enough(50.83%). Of the 30 attributes that were analyzed contained 15 attributes influencing sensitive to the index and the status of sustainability with a verysmall error at 95% confidence level.keywords: watershed, multidimensional scaling, water, sustainability watershed management

Abstract

The status of indonesian palm oil industry in the world to be the fi rst one that built a modern palm oil industry. There is a trend of palm oil industry in the future time to be the dominan industry. On 2005 was increse to be 5.597.158 ha with CPO production about 12.451.000 ton which is spread in 20 provinces. The increasing of palm oil production give impact to solid and liquid waste potential. All the waste can be used as energy alternatif, beside that the potency of solid and liquid waste will give contribution to CO2 emission of global warming.Key words : palm oil.

Abstract

The objectives of the research is to obtain upland data and information especially for extensifi cation of sugarcane development through optimal land fertilization. Furthermore, the impacts of this action are to increase the planting area of sugarcane and productivity. The research use Geographical Information System (GIS) in Brebes Regency, starting from June until October 2007 and the field survey was done at the end of August 2007. The results of the research showed that the suitable, conditionally suitable, and not suitable land for sugarcane cultivation in Brebes Regency reach to a high of 40,148 ha, 7,555 ha, and 124,071 ha respectively. The potential upland for sugarcane cultivation reach to a high of 38,264 ha. Based on the soil condition with low contents of N, P and K, the recommended dosage calculation of N, P, and K fertilizers for optimal sugarcane cultivation reach to a high of: N (ZA) = 575 kg/ha, P (SP-36) = 170 kg/ha, and K (KCl) = 600 kg/ha.Key words : sugarcane, upland for sugarcane
