Abstract

This research explains the use of experimental methods in historical education research, highlighting its origins, theories, processes, and trends. Originally used in science and psychology, this method is now applied in history education. Its accuracy helps overcome the complexity of history learning issues. Data was collected from various sources, confirming the effectiveness of the experiments in this study. This method has been proven to be accurate, facilitating research in an increasingly complex field, and reflecting the evolution and adaptation of research methodology across disciplines.

Abstract

The diversity of cultural heritage remains in Pangkalpinang City contains various important information related to identity of the community. These cultural heritages intersect with each other and have historical values that can be a source of local history learning for the people in Pangkalpinang City. The approach to this research use historical education for the community. These local history learning resources can be provided formally through education in schools or non-formally through outreach to the community by utilizing existing Cultural Heritage or the Indonesian Tin Museum.

Abstract

The Wasaka Museum in Banjarmasin plays a pivotal role in enhancing historical awareness and knowledge of local culture. This research, employing historical and qualitative methods, gathered data through interviews, observations, and documentation to analyze the museum's contribution to the city's development. With collections including traditional weapons, ceremonial attire, paintings, and significant documents, the museum not only preserves artifacts but also serves as a cultural learning center. It aids in uncovering hidden cultural values and promotes the history and cultural beauty of Banjarmasin, significantly contributing to the formation of Indonesian society and urban development, with a vision to become a center for the preservation of historical values.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the potential of Marco Kartodikromo's biography as a source of historical learning. Marco Kartodikromo is a journalist, writer, and activist who fought for the Indonesian nation against the Dutch colonialists. Marco Kartodikromo has national values that can be learned by the younger generations. These values can be taught in history subject. Educators can integrate Marco Kartodikromo's history in history learning. Marco Kartodikromo fought during the Dutch Colonial Government. The background of this time became the basis for determining historical learning materials related to the biography of Marco Kartodikromo as a source of historical learning.

Abstract

Understanding the values of Cultural Heritage as relics from the past can be considered as an attempt to understand the history that took place in it. Not only does it understand the past but, it also functions to understand the present and the future. The community plays an important role in maintaining the values contained in a Cultural Heritage. Sawentar Temple is one of the historical sites that has high cultural and historical value. The preservation of the historical values of Sawentar Temple requires active participation from the local community. This study aims to analyze the participation of the local community in maintaining and preserving the historical values of Sawentar Temple. The research method used in this paper is a qualitative approach by conducting interviews and direct observations of the community and parties directly related to Sawentar Temple. The results of this study show that community participation is very important in the process of preserving the values owned by Sawentar Temple through participation in the form of maintenance, education, promotion, and surveillance.
