Abstract

The aim of this study is to gain the understanding about the processes of being a priest andfinding his meaningful of life in the promise to Lord in poverty, purity and obidience inchurch. Process of meaningful of life such as meaninglessm self-acceptance, finding the lifemeaning, meaning realization and meaningful of life. This study is using case study forgaining the data. The participants if this study is a 40 years old priest and already do thepromise to the Lord in 13 years. He heas been started the promise since 1982 and decided topromise for his whole life in 1994. The results shows that he found the meaningful of life inthe church.

Abstract

The aim of thi study is to know about the affect of divorce and the adaptation of men whodivorced and also his adaptation for this. This study is using case study with a 26 years oldman as a participant who already divorced since 2 years with 2 children. In the beginning ofthe divorce he felt emotion trauma, confused and anxiety about the way his children aregrown up. He tried to againts it and during the time he could adapt in the situation finally. Hegot the children and felt so happy because of that. He don’t bothered by his sexual needs andreplaced it by worked and exercised. Key words : adaptation, divorce

Abstract

The aim of this study is to adapt and measuring the validity and reliability of Career Maturity Inventory(CMI) created by John E. Crite. The goal of this research is a psychological inventory to measure thesenior high school students’ career maturity that already tested in Indonesian culture. The participantsof this research is 160 senior high school students in Jakarta with the sample comes from SMA KartiniJakarta and SMA 109 Jakarta. The research shows that only 30 items selected of attitude scale of CMIand 50 items selected of competency scale of CMI. The reliability for attitude scale of CMI is 0.708, andfor competency scale of CMI is 0.702. This results tell that CMI can be used as a tool in measuring thecareer maturity.Key words: career maturity, Career Maturity Inventory, career planning

Abstract

There are many evidences to show that there’s been a perspective movement about attitude, activity,gender role differences between men and women that affect another movement in the work field for bothmen and women. Women can be found work as a driver, labor, sailor, lawyer and many more. On theother side, men are also can be found work as designer, stylist, capster, dancer, and many more. Thedemand inside herself make women who work in masculine work field feels uncomfortable because it’snot something that usual for her stereotype work field. The aim of this study is to know the descriptionabout the adaptation, its processes, and factors influencing the women’s adaptation who work inmasculine work field with qualitative method. Participant of this study is a women who work as splitstone in Ciapus river, Bogor. The result shows participant has a good adaptation that can be seen in heradaptation aspects and characteristics.Key words: adaptation, working women, masculine work field

Abstract

Electricty train is a very economical transportation and can be reached by all aspects of society inJabodetabek region. Otherwise, the condition of the train is very uncomfortable. Passengers always facethe very crowded condition to use the train and during the trip. Most passengers feel the crowding in avery bad circumstances and it caused stress. This crowding mentioned as one of many factors thatcorrelated to jov related stress in employees who use this transportation. The aim of this study is tomeasure the correlation between crowding and job related stress in employee who use electricity train astransportation. The result shows positive correlation between crowding and job related stress inemployee who use electricity train as transportation. This study also found other factors that might havebeen correlated to crowding such as the duration of the trip and the number of the station passed by thetrain.Key words: crowding, job related stress, electricity train

Abstract

Every organization has its goal to gain effectiveness. On the other side, without any supportsfrom competence leader, the goal will not be gained. The raise of leader’s competence should besupported by good knowledge, good skill and tha charisma to achieve something. In theglobalization era, Indonesia must prepare everything especially in human resource aspects tocompete with other countries. The aim of this study is to know how far the role of spiritualintelligence to leadership competency to fulfill the organization vision and mission in PT. JasaMarga (Persero). The participants of this study is 75 employees in different educationalbackground from diplome to doctor. From each independent and dependent variable, the studydevelops some supporting component such as spiritual inteligence and leadership competency.The result shows that spiritual intelligence has negative role to leadership competency. Theother results are personality has an effect to technical and humanism skills, and the leadershipability has an effect to conceptual skill.Key words: leadership competency, spiritual intelligence

Abstract

The aim of this study is to know the probability for female candidates for having support from femalevoters than male candidates, the effect of gender role idelogy and level of gender group identity to thesupport for female candidates, and between the four independen varibles, which one that would be thebest predictor for female candidates for 2004 general election. The result shows that there is nodifferences of probability between male and female candidates to be choosen by female voters and thereis no differences also in gender role idelogy and gender group identification for voting the male andfemale candidates. Then, this research also shows that female voters behavior can’t be predicted by thosevariables. The suggestion for the next research is to fix the way sampel is being collected, get morefocused on male participants, enhance other variables such as gender stereotype and involving thecognitive process in voting behavior.Key words: gender, identification

Abstract

The aim of this study is know how far AQ has a contribution to academic achievement in accelerationclass students. This study is using a non-experimental design research and multiple regression. Thisstudy is using ARP’s Stotlz and already modified for students for acceleration class. The participants are73 acceleration class students. The results shows that there is no kontribution of the dimensions of AQ toacademic achievement in MIPA dan Bahasa.Key words: Adversity quotion, academic achievement, class acceleration
