Abstract

Spirituality at workplace is a new topic in organizational psychology. Spirituality at workplace is related to a construction that indicates an increase of quality performance. The purpose of this study was to find the factors forming the spiritual climate in Indonesian organizational context. The subjects were 417 employees of a media company. The method used in this study was exploratory factor analysis. The results indicated that there were two factors forming the spiritual climate in the workplace, namely vision and mission that motivated the employees and made them connected with their purposes at work, and the second factor was employees’ deep concern of their lives. This study can be used as practical guidance to establish a healthy working climate in organization.

Abstract

The research discussed Subjective well-being (SWB) with reminiscence therapy in the elderly. This research used a single-case experiment design to examine the effectiveness of reminiscence therapy in improving the well-being of active, elderly aged 70 years old and over. There were two participants in this research, one male and one female. This intervention consisted of five meetings held once a week for ±90 minutes each session. Quantitative analysis using the Oxford Happiness Questionnaire and qualitative analysis through observation and interviews showed an improvement in participants? subjective well-being following the intervention. Therefore, the results of this research are likely that reminiscence therapy is effective in improving the subjective well-being of elderly individuals.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of job satisfaction on work engagement in hospital employees. The study sample was taken from permanent employees at the SP Hospital in West Sumatra with a total number of subjects as many as 285 people, sampling was done by proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The measuring instrument used is the result of an adaptation of a pre-existing measuring instrument by changing the measuring instrument to Indonesian. Work engagement is measured using the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES), while job satisfaction is measured using the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire. Based on the results of data analysis conducted, the hypothesis was accepted, there was a significant effect between job satisfaction on work engagement in hospital employees, as indicated by the t-value of 10.681 with a significance of 0.000 (p <0.05). The contribution of job satisfaction to work engagement is 28.7% and the rest is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between affective commitment and job satisfaction in vocational teachers. This study involved 59 vocational school teachers at one of the state vocational schools in Tangerang Regency, Banten Province. The research method used is quantitative by using a questionnaire as a research data collection tool. The data analysis technique used is using the SPSS version 26 program with the results of the study that there is a significant relationship between affective commitment and job satisfaction in vocational teachers. Keywords: affective commitment, job satisfaction, vocational teachers.

Abstract

This research used a quantitative approach, data collection using online questionnaires using Google Form. The respondents consisted of 196 Immigration office employees on duty in the West Java Region, including Bogor, Cirebon and Depok. Data analysis techniques using the help of SmartPLS 4.0.8.8 software. This study found a model that has not been found in previous studies, namely simultaneous leadership transformation, organizational justice, perceptions of organizational support for organizational citizenship behavior with religiosity as a coding variable. It is proved that high religious will spend time working willingly. With religiosity as a guideline in work, it is hoped that it can improve employee performance in completing work tasks for the better. This is  because morality directly affects citizenship behavior, Transformational Leadership does not partially have a significant effect on citizenship behavior and religiosity cannot strengthen the relationship between transformational leadership and organizational  behavior.  However, organizational  justice and perceived organizational support partially have a significant effect on citizenship behavior and religiosity can strengthen the relationship between organizational support perception of organizational citizenship behavior, as  well as simultaneously influence on organizational  citizenship behavior and religiosity strengthen the relationship between transformational leadership, organizational justice,  perception of organizational support for organizational  citizenship behavior.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan rancangan struktur organisasi untuk Departemen Organizational Development pada Divisi Human Capital di PT. X. PT. X merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang distribusi atau jasa pengiriman barang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian terapan yang menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif. Narasumber penelitian berjumlah tiga orang staff Divisi Human Capital. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Penelitian awal menunjukkan saat ini Divisi Human Capital tidak berjalan dengan sesuai strategi perusahaan. Selain itu terjadi permasalahan pada Divisi Human Capital itu sendiri, yaitu strategi divisi yang tidak sesuai dengan strategi perusahaan, jumlah staff dan pekerjaan yang tidak proporsional, adanya ketidakjelasan pada beberapa fungsi departemen, dan adanya ketidakjelasan uraian pekerjaan pada beberapa departemen. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diusulkan intervensi berupa rancangan struktur organisasi Departemen Organizational Development pada Divisi Human Capital di PT. X agar Divisi Human Capital dapat melakukan pembenahan fungsi, struktur, dan uraian kerja pada departemen lain di Divisi Human Capital dengan tepat dan sesuai.

Abstract

Perilaku kewargaorganisasian atau organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) adalah perilaku anggota perusahaan yang melebihi gambaran peranan yang diharapkan perusahaan, merupakan hal yang penting bagi efektivitas perusahaan. Mengingat pentingnya OCB maka perlu diidentifikasi faktor apa saja yang dapat menentukan tingkat OCB karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepribadian (berdasarkan konsep kepribadian lima besar) dan kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap OCB. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap 61 karyawan sebuah perusahaan minyak nasional Area Jambi Region Sumatera. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode angket dan uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan analisis regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional dan kepribadian yang terdiri dari extraversión, agreeableness, emotional stability, conscientiousness, openness to experience, secara bersama-sama mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap OCB sebesar 48.3%.Kata Kunci: kepribadian, kepemimpinan transformasional, perilaku kewargaorganisasian

Abstract

There are many evidences to show that there’s been a perspective movement about attitude, activity,gender role differences between men and women that affect another movement in the work field for bothmen and women. Women can be found work as a driver, labor, sailor, lawyer and many more. On theother side, men are also can be found work as designer, stylist, capster, dancer, and many more. Thedemand inside herself make women who work in masculine work field feels uncomfortable because it’snot something that usual for her stereotype work field. The aim of this study is to know the descriptionabout the adaptation, its processes, and factors influencing the women’s adaptation who work inmasculine work field with qualitative method. Participant of this study is a women who work as splitstone in Ciapus river, Bogor. The result shows participant has a good adaptation that can be seen in heradaptation aspects and characteristics.Key words: adaptation, working women, masculine work field

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan rancangan intervensi untuk menetapkan tujuan (goal setting) warga binaan sosial setelah keluar dari Panti. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang digunakan adalah jenis one group pre-test post-test design. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari tiga orang. Subjek pertama AI, jenis kelamin laki-laki usia 31 tahun. Subjek kedua W, jenis kelamin laki-laki usia 27 tahun. Subjek ketiga IS, jenis kelamin laki-laki usia 23 tahun. Pada penelitian ini, subjek penelitian diberikan intervensi dengan memberikan pelatihan penetapan tujuan (goal setting) yang dilakukan dalam empat kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa dari ketiga subjek menunjukan terdapat perbedaan hasil yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa intervensi goal setting yang diberikan secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan warga binaan sosial dalam merencanakan tujuan yang spesifik, measurable, attainable, realistis, serta mampu menetapkan waktu (timely) dalam pencapaian tujuan. Secara umum dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang sangat signifikan pada tingkat kemampuan goal setting warga binaan sosial di Panti Sosial Bina Karya sesudah mengikuti pelatihan goal setting.  Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, goal setting, warga binaan sosial
