Abstract

The sustainable of an architectural work for the community and the surrounding environment provides a discussion on the design and application of contextual with the built environment. In this case study case in point is the Library of the University of Indonesia. The building was chosen because it is considered to represent the concept of tropical architecture. The problems discussed in this study include; how the concept of tropical architecture is applied in the library and want to know how they affect the concept of the thermal comfort in buildings. In this study the method used to describe and review all the data and other information, from direct observation or indirectly. This analysis uses quantitative analysis by comparing the existing situation in the field with the study and the information obtained from the literature as well as qualitative analysis as it relates to the amount of space that is used in analyzing the use of software Ecotech. This study is expected to reference input regarding the thermal comfort of a building which is calculated using a software-assisted.Keywords: tropical architecture, thermal comfort, EcoTech

Abstract

Every construction project requires resources (resources) in the solution, namely labor, costs, tools, methods, and materials. Successful construction projects and whether or not depends on the effectiveness of resource management. In the process of achieving the project objectives, a predetermined limit, the greater the cost (budget) allocated, schedule, and quality that must be met. The third limitation is known by three constraints (triple constraint). By looking at the boundaries (triple constraint) specified in the project, especially the schedule to be met, labor productivity is very important in projects that affect the performance of a project. From the analysis using SPSS, obtained for the mathematical modeling of the relationship between labor productivity construction project time performance, ie Y = 125.518 - 2,044X16  - 3,406X6 - 2,422X15, where X16 is the placement of non-strategic materials, the X6 is a misunderstanding between labor and supervisors, and X15 is the lack of available tools, with the adjusted R-square of the regression equation reaches 0.784.Key words: regression analysis, project time performance, labor productivity.

Abstract

Development of visualization and simulation technology through the Virtual-Reality (VR) is now very advanced in terms of quality of output (graphics, sound, touch), the ease, efficiency and user psychology equipment. Problems tend to arise in the development of advanced systems as early innovation in particular to the disciplines of architecture. This paper discusses the use of VR in the field of architecture, especially with regard to the preservation of historical heritage or digital preservation and conservation. So far many of the reconstruction of buildings and historical district tend to be made in 2D or video display and it is considered to be quite informative in terms of the generated virtual environment. But it is limited in terms of interaction and visualization with details and full-scale immersive quality that can only be provided by VR technology. VR allows heritage sites reconstructed with highly accurate, 3D models, interactive and real-time can be presented. Finally look so real that will facilitate feedback from anyone in particular building stakeholders. Keywords : Architecture, Conservation, Virtual-Reality

Abstract

Rapid decline in quality of infrastructure assets as a result of factors such as age and environmental factors. So some developing asset management systems such as building condition assessment, prediction of deterioration, maintenance and treatment strategies, improvement of the condition after treatment and priority to building components should be repaired with cost barriers (Ahluwalia, 2008). The degree of interest of building components needed to incorporate the need for maintenance and upkeep of the building. The research method using a questionnaire with a scale degree of interest 1 (less important) to 6 (of extraordinary importance) (Pedro, et al, 2008). Statistical test research data using Friedman test and Kruskal Wallis. The results showed the component with the highest degree of interest is the structure components such as foundations, columns and beams with a degree of interest "Very Important" with a value of 5.56 each; 5.20 and 5.00. The highest degree of interest Landscape component is Channel Drainage and Road to the degree of interest "Important" by the respective value of 4.48 and 4.16. The highest degree of interest Architectural components are roof and wall coverings with a degree of interest "important" to the value of each of 4.40 and 4.40. Abstract

This study aimed to determine the relationship of the circulation pattern which is owned by the shopping center on the pattern of spread of visitors. Circulation patterns that are the focus of research is sirkukasi visitors, visitor circulation pattern will be seen in detail segingga will note a relationship between circulation pattern with grooves keramain visitors. Circulation pattern itself occurs because of the arrangement of the spaces within the shopping center consists of retail shops among other facilities along. Spaces are arranged in such sedemkian, thus indirectly shape the flow of circulation patterns, visitors. Space in the center of the magnet laying perelanjaan determining equitable circulation flow in the building. Each shopping center has a groove pattern sirkuasi different depending on the configuration of the space, because the circulation is determined by the configuration of the room. Margo City has a circulation pattern Linear Because of the configuration space of pertokoannya arranged in series based on the horizontal axis (longitudinal). Judging from the pattern of spatial arrangement of the circulation pattern liner owned by Margocity make visitors easy access to the train-destination retail stores. Abstract

The successful implementation of a project undertaken by the construction company associated with the extent to which the project objectives (on time, quality and cost) can be met. By doing risk management is expected to target the right project cost, timely, and appropriate quality in the construction of the building infrastructure can be realized. The purpose of this study was the identification of the causative agent of risk and risk of the Infrastructure Development Project Storey Building and propose an agent handling the most influential risk using the House of Risk (HOR). There are 18 events and the risk of 12 agents / causes of the identified risks. From the calculation, the most influential risk agents are resource procurement process is stopped and has not been rescheduled. Mitigation actions that are at the top of the risk response is the manufacture of a realistic schedule and create a system of monitoring and sanctions. Keywords: Risk management, Project Objectives, deviation costs, House Of Risk (HOR)

Abstract

The development of suburban areas indicate that the area to be “exurban area”, that the development of the new urban population in large numbers came from the city and moved because it was attracted by the new residence or employment opportunities, but in socio-economic them still remain oriented to the city core. Another phenomenon of the development of the suburb that is the restructuring of the city’s core as result of the shift of functions from manufacturing center to the center of financial activities and services, while manufacturing activity increasingly shifts to the edge of the area, especially with the development of insdustrial areas and other. As for the purpose ofof this research is to know the socio-economic impacts of development of Semarang’s suburban housing, District Tembalang to the local community. A method of research used in this research is approach case study using by data qualitative and quantitative furnished with. The main data used is the quantitative data obtained from the questionnaire. A case study is a research that analys in one case and conducted in intensively, deep, specifics and comprehensive. This research is still with a limited number of respondendts and expected there is the research continued with more sample so the data more be valid. The socio-economic impacts of housing has already been seen in the public therefore particularly the government to immediately solve the problems of this mismatch so as not to be increased. Keywords: regional development, housing development, socio-economic effects

Abstract

Transjakarta Busway System is a BRT System deployed in DKI Jakarta. For more than 7 year operating, there’re still some obstacles in the system in which make the Busway system can’t operate effectively. In order to fix the system, for travel time aspect, there will be held a research in Simulation of Transit Signal Priority (TSP) in Transjakarta Busway System. The research will be held on the 6th Corridor (Ragunan – Kuningan). TSP is an intelligent transport system which modified the traffic light to better accommodate transit vehicle, so the travel time will be reduce but somehow the non-transit traffic is less disturbed. Simulation will be executed by VISSIM, a traffic simulator program. There will be three scenarios for TSP application: phase extension, red truncation, and phase advance. Based on VISSIM simulation, after TSP is deployed, the average travel time for Transjakarta Bus is 24.39 percent reduced for northbound travel (from Ragunan to Kuningan Timur) and 25.86 percent reduced for southbound travel (from Kuningan Timur to Ragunan) in peak period. For off peak period, the decrease is 26.44 percent for northbound travel and 34.92 percent for southbound travel. While the average side-street queue length increased by 2.10 percent and 1.20 percent for average cross-street queue length on peak period. And, the average side-street queue length on off peak period is increased by 28.87 percent. Abstract

In analyzing the behavior of pile groups due to lateral forces in buildings, in addition to taking into account the carrying capacity pertiang in the group must also pay attention to aspects geotekniknya that nature - the nature and behavior of the soil that received the lateral load. This study was conducted to determine the deflection and bending moment on a single pole and pole group 3, 5, and 7 when it receives a static horizontal load on the mast head wedged condition (fixed head). Location of the study was taken from the region MT.Haryono storey building, Jakarta ie IKPT Building. Research deflection and bending moment pole performed using Plaxis 3D Foundation Software V1.5. Lateral load is given once the loading of 2 different direction, namely the direction of the x and z, equal to 7 tons pertiang. Shadowing effect can be seen using Plaxis 3D Foundation program V1.5. An odd number of poles in the pole groups with different forms of pile cap, will produce different maximum deflection values ranged between 0-5% in buildings IKPT. Differences 2 x direction bending moment will be bigger than the bending moment - 3, whereas the z-direction bending moments keterbalikannya 2 z direction is smaller than the bending moment - 3. Abstract

Green open space is an important part of a structure forming the city. Green open space has the main function as ecological supporting the city also used as open space adder and supporters of the value of the quality of the environment and culture of an area . As an effort to save the function of government land depok city doing the green open space gurame valley become a city park that serves as green open space the public . In this research approach done is through a qualitative approach .The data collected is the data derived derived from a manuscript interview , field notes , personal documents , and other official documents . The preliminary study in doing in the location of the object of research that is on Jalan Gurame Perumnas Depok I, Kecamatan Beji, Kota Depok. On the activities of these things implemented is observing visually about the situation and the condition of the object of study and conduct observation field .To support Processing and analysis of data to support it is also searching and collecting the study of literature. Based on the observation in the field, and an interview and the analysis made by the general a conclusion that Lembah Gurame City Park has not been optimal and effective, it is caused of elements existing facilities and the implementation of the development is not in accordance with planning so users of city parks not be able to use in accordance with its function of the existence of elements and facilities of the garden of the city.                                                                                 Keywords: effectiveness, the utilization, lembah gurame.
