This paper describes Islamic education and the development of gender psychology in persons with hearing impairments. One aspect that supports the implementation of Islamic education is the aspect of psychology. Psychology studies can touch directly on the personality structure of students, so that it can facilitate the process of information transformation. The quality of one's gender intelligence depends on the process of growth and development psychologically. The religious and cultural values that develop in society also influence the psychological maturity of each gender. Hearing barriers are part of a separate problem in Islamic Education. Understanding this psychological condition is an important thing that must be done by everyone, especially educators because it is related to the development of the soul of deaf children. Psychological classification of deaf children who have been exposed above can facilitate learning that is carried out by educators, partially and in the context of the true purpose of Islamic education.

Dialog lintas agama antara Muslim dan Non-Muslim di sekolah semakin menarik minat banyak ilmuwan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran guru dan siswa Muslim dalam dialog antaragama dan model pengajaran peace-building (pembangunan perdamaian) di sebuah sekolah Kristen. Ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Kristen (SMPK) Seputih Banyak, Lampung Tengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, model Miles & Huberman digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan sekolah sangat mendukung dialog antaragama di antara semua guru dan siswa yang, memang, memiliki agama yang berbeda. Guru pendidikan agama Islam mempromosikan Islam moderat untuk mendorong dialog antaragama ketika mengajar siswa Muslim dan berinteraksi dengan non-Muslim. Hal ini memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap dialog antaragama dan model pengajaran peace-building dikembangkan dan diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah.

Kebebasan berkomunikasi dan berpendapat di dunia maya menimbulkan beragam masalah salah satunya hoaks. Parahnya informasi hoaks yang tersebar cenderung berbau SARA, fitnah, dan provokatif yang tak jarang menimbulkan seseorang berurusan dengan hukum. Keterbukaan dan mudahnya mengakses informasi membuat tidak sedikit masyarakat yang langsung men-share informasi tanpa membaca sumber lain ataupun mencari tahu kebenarannya. Banyak orang yang tidak menyadari dampak luar biasa dari berita bohong tersebut. Saat ini, media digital didominasi pemuda millenial yang merupakan “digital natives”. Terwujudnya Indonesia emas 2045 merupakan bentuk integrasi-interkoneksi berbagai lapisan masyarakat, budaya, serta berbagai macam sumber daya yang ada. Jika generasi ini tidak diberikan amunisi yang kuat untuk menangkal serangan hoaks, maka ditakutkan jargon “Indonesia Emas 2045” hanyalah angan belaka. Menjadi generasi yang melek teknologi dan faham pemanfaatanya tidaklah cukup, dibutuhkan pula etika berkomunikasi. Generasi GREAT (Get, Read, Tabayyun) Beretika merupakan aktualisasi dari QS. al-Hujurat ayat 6 yang diharapkan dapat menangkal serangan dan dampak dari hoaks tersebut. Secara eksplisit, al-Qur’an telah memberikan tuntunan untuk menyikapi hoaks yang diintegrasikan dengan zaman kekinian sebagai upaya mewujudkan Indonesia Emas 2045.

Undergraduate Thesis (Skripsi) is one of the scientific writing that should be written by the students before finishing their study at a university. It is also called scientific wrtting because it shoul be written logically, systematically and originally. For good scientific writing, the students need to the thinking creativity, writing technique, and research methodology mastery.The aim of this research is know the quality of undergraduate thesis written by the students of State Islamic College (STAIN) Jurai Siwo Metro in the period of 2010-2015. This research had been conducted in STAIN Jurai Siwo Metro Library by observing and anlysing the tudents’ undergraduate thesis that written in those periods. Based on the finding of research can be identified that the quality of students undergraduate thesis still in low level. The low quality of students’ undergraduate thesis caused by 69,60% of students had lack of thinking creativity, 64,61% of students could not write perfectly in writing technique, and 64,57% of students didn’t master the research methodology. This low quality was not only made by the students. But also there were many factors that can influence the case. The lecuters and the sponsors were also had strategis role in their writing. But more over the students should be studying hard to be able and master thinking creavity, writing technique dan research methodology.

The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of social skills and gender responsive students after the implementation of the Controversial Issues (CI) model in social studies learning while at the same time looking at student learning outcomes. The method of this research is the quasi-experimental method using the nonequivalent groups pretest-posttest design. The population is the fourth grade students of SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur with samples of classes IV A and IV B. Data collection techniques are in the form of tests and sets of students' social skills. The results of this study indicate that the Controversial Issues (CI) model in social studies learning can improve social skills and gender-responsive student learning outcomes.

Tulisan ini membahas tentang pentingnya menempatkan pegawai pada sebuah lembaga pendidikan, secara jelas tujuan penempatan SDM ini adalah untuk menempatkan orang yang tepat dan jabatan yang sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuannya, sehingga sumber daya manusia yang ada menjadi produktif. Penempatan yang tepat merupakan cara untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan, keterampilan menuju prestasi kerja yang baik bagi pekerja itu sendiri. Sehingga dalam posisi jabatan yang tepat akan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan yang di harapkan. Kriteria-Kriteria yang harus dipenuhi dalam Penempatan pegawai dalam pelaksanaannya antara lain: pengetahuan, kemampuan dan sikap. Sedangkan Penempatan pegawai menurut ayat al-Qur’an dan Hadits meliputi: pengetahuan, kemampuan/ keahlian, tidak meminta jabatan (Hadits), kuat, satu kalangan/golongan, etos kerja tinggi, dan amanah.

Background of this reaserch is the low of women participation in various agenda of general election in level national, province, or local. This reaserch amin to know the influence of level of education to woman political participation in election of Village head 2017 in Widasari District. The research approch in this reaserch is qualitatif approach with case study methode. Subyect in this reserah is woman candidats from three villages in Widasari District which perform the election of village head. From four villages which perform village head election, there is three villages with woman candidat of village head which is Kongsijaya Village, ujung jaya Village, and Leuwigede Village. The reaserch instrumen use in this reaserch is observation sheet and interview sheet to woman candidat of village head. The result of this reaserch is proof that education is not main determinant of women participation to nominate as village head. There is other factor that influence women participation in village head election in Widasari distric 2017 which is husband support and experience un social organization.

Tulisan ini berupaya mendeskripsikan paradigma baru pendidikan Islam di era millenial. Bagi dunia pendidikan Islam, era global dan millenial menyimpan banyak pekerjaan, peluang dan tantangan yang harus diselesaikan dan dijawab. Salah satu diantaranya adalah generasi muda Islam telah banyak yang terpapar millenial effect, sehingga berdampak pada sikap dan perilaku yang muncul. Kecenderungan dan ketergantungan pada teknologi dan komunikasi menjadi fenomena yang paling sering terlihat. Generasi muda Islam mulai banyak yang menghabiskan waktunya di depan telpon genggamnya. Silaturrahmi, tatap muka dan berdiksusi menjadi hal yang jarang terlihat. Munculnya era millenial ini, idealnya segara direspon cepat oleh dunia pendidikan Islam. Hakikat dan tujuan dari pendidikan Islam sangatlah jelas, yakni menciptakan insan kamil. Butuh kiat dan strategi tersendiri dalam mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan Islam di tengah-tengah pergumulan era millenial. Oleh sebab itu, pendidikan Islam harus berani merekonstruksi atau mereformulasi paradigma pendidikannya, sehingga mampu tampil dan bersaing di tengah gelombang millenial.

A good translation must strive for dynamic equivalence, i.e., the quality of a translation in which the message of the original has been so transported into the receptor language that the response of the receptor is essentially like that of the original receptors. The present study aimed at describing the translation procedures used in translating implicit information in the form of ellipsis and metaphor from English into Indonesian and the equivalence of the translation of those implicit information. Based on the analysis, it was found that the translation procedures which are used to achieve the equivalence are of two types of modulation, namely shift of point of view and explicitation and shift or transposition.
