Abstract

The rapid development of the business world today makes more and more companies are innovating the products sold, services provided and provide appropriate information to their customers to create a loyal consumer of the company. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of product quality, and interpersonal communication to consumer loyalty. The research method used is Simple Random Sampling with multiple linear regression analysis techniques. To ensure the accuracy of information, the number of population as much as 524 people are then drawn the number of samples as many as 100 people. The results showed that based on a simultaneous test (F test), product quality and interpersonal communication had the positive and significant effect to consumer loyalty but based on a partial test (t-test) there are different results where only interpersonal communication does not affect consumer loyalty. Interpersonal communication is not very influential on consumer loyalty and most importantly for consumers is the fulfillment of banking needs can be met without the presence of perceived difficulty.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality, price, and promotion of purchasing decision in Indonesia. The data used taken from some Indonesian people who usually drink local tea. The purposive sampling method used in the selection of respondents involving ninety-two people. The results of this study partially indicate that quality had a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions by sixty percent. Price had a significant and positive effect on purchasing by forty-two percent. The promotion had a significant and positive effect on purchasing decisions by fifty percent. Simultaneously, the quality, price, and promotion significantly affected the purchase decision by seventy-two percent

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the role of the clerics to actualize good governance concept in the development of Makassar City. Therefore, clerics are not merely issuing “fatwas” (religious advises) for the sake of society, but also, clerics can also play a role in development process. The method applied in this research is a descriptive method. While the approach applied is a qualitative method because the issues that are studied are phenomenological. The results show that the role of clerics is optimal in actualizing good governance concept in Makassar City development process. The role and function of the clerics can be represented as a community counselor in line with the government's role as servant and protector of society. Moreover, the policy taken by the government has been supported by all the clerics in actualizing development programs for the mutual good of the societies. In making strategic decisions, clerics sometimes contribute and suggestions to the government to improve social support of that decision

Abstract

Numerous complications in conveying students’ideas and comprehending the words from teachers due to lack of academic vocabulary Many teaching techniques or strategies the teacher can use to make students learn the vocabulary effectively. This study aims at examining the effectiveness of Computer-based Flashcard Program (CFP) is effective in teaching vocabulary. Pre-experimental method with one group pretest and posttest was the design of this study. This study involved thirty one students of Islamic Junior High School in Makassar city, Indonesia chosen conveniently. The data were collected through a vocabulary test to examine the effectiveness of CFP to improve the vocabulary mastery using t-test. The result of the data analysis showed that there was a significant difference between pretest and posttest. This study found that use of CFP is effective to improve vocabulary mastery

Abstract

This study aims at finding out whether or not the use of video improves the learners’ vocabulary of the young learners. This study applied pre-experimental method with one group pre-test and post-test design. Twenty junior high school learners in Mataram involved in this study. The data were collected through vocabulary test (pre-test and post-test). This study used cluster random sampling technique. A t-test was used to measure the significance of animated video usage in improving young learners’ vocabulary achievement. Mean score of post-test was greater than the mean score of the pre-test. This study revealed that using animated video can improve learners’ vocabulary of the young learners
