The objective of the study is to find the solution to the problem outlined, which is to create an alternative design for corporate identity of ASITA. ASITA is a non-profit organization to foster tours and travel agencies in Indonesia. The writer conducted interview to the ASITA Jakarta Chapter, which was appointed to represent ASITA in providing the data needed by the writer. The writer interviewed the advisor of the organization, which had once served as chairperson of ASITA. The result of the research is new corporate identity system of ASITA based on a concept that ASITA as an organization, serves as a compass that guides and assists in every direction. The writer found that corporate identity is an important element to define an organization as well as giving impact on its first impression. To create good corporate identity, several things such as elements of design, color, typography, etc need to be put into attention.

Chinese restaurants are obviously connected to Chinese culture for it holds a great importance and is even the core point of creating art. The art would be based upon the aesthetic contents which contain symbolic meaning in Chinese philosophy. In a typical chinese restaurant the connection between tradition and art is represented in the form of ornaments that acts functionally and has specific unique characteristics. This study was conducted by qualitative method with survey, interview, and documentation of the ornaments in chinese restaurant. This study aims to introduce and enrich the knowledge, as the ornaments stand for showing the identity of chinese culture in chinese restaurant. The aesthetical theory about the art of design and the implementation of chinese ornaments took part in the study as well. Result of the study shows that the chinese restaurant observed has implemented the interior and applied the ornaments well in showing chinese identity. Besides, the materials used for furniture and interior elements have given the nuances of Chinese culture. Study concludes that the aesthetic atmosphere of the interior of Dian Xiao Er Restaurant is calm, peaceful, and relaxing like sitting in a modest diner. The dynamics that was created is something impressed repetitive yet not boring

This research is the continuation of previous research. The research is included in the creation of visual communication solutions on how a process of visual communication strategy can contribute a persuasive invitation. Research aims to expose the solution in the realm of visual communication. The research applied qualitative method. It began with the development of communicators becoming a mascot, continued on the delivery of messages through the comics, and invited children as audience target for design experience with game and gimmick. Result of the research is the visual design, as well as including the process of visual communication creation. As a conclusion, creating a visual communication solution could be carried out by the same method, similar matching scope, as well as the contents adjusted with new needs.

Prostitution is a classic social problem existed continuously as though it is difficult to eradicate. It makes the topic on prostitution becomes interesting to discuss. This paper identified the problem of prostitution from the viewpoint of positive law and empirical reality in society. By combining normative and empirical studies, the article aims to provide an overview of the problem of prostitution more clearly. From the library resarch, it is found various types of prostitution occur. In addition, the motivation to commit prostitution was not solely caused by economic motives, but there were other motives such as drug abuse, for instance. To keep prostitution is not rampant, it is not solely relying on legal instruments, but the role and function of the family is important. Therefore, the problem of prostitution is not simply seen from one point of view, there are other factors as its cause.

Research discusses the different use of Japanese verbs benkyousuru, manabu, renshuusuru, and narau associated with the use of nouns attaching to the verbs. Data corpus was taken from magazine Jakarta Communication Club: Apa Kabar, Vol 50, 2010. The research applied qualitative study using descriptive analysis method. Research aims to give better understanding for Japanese language learners in using the Japanese verbs benkyousuru, manabu, renshuusuru, narau. Besides, the learners can use these verbs properly as well. Result of the research shows that the verbs have different use and also different use of nouns attaching on the verbs.

Indonesian leadership for some time suffered extraordinary shocks, the distrust of the leaders to make them not a role model anymore. The loss of integrity within the leader is very worrying for our state and nation; Indonesia's national security can be destroyed by it. It takes a very drastic change in the future to build Indonesia. Strong faith basis and professionalism coupled with a good work ethic will bring this nation to obtain a real leader, not worthy of their so-called leaders. Abuse of power that has been handed over to the leaders of the people are already too many and has touched every joint life of Indonesian society, there needs to be a consistent transformation of the nation's future, otherwise we will be destroyed, and the free fall in the abyss of evil. This paper will describe the current situation of Indonesia as well as concise and clear feedback about the solution, hopefully this can be determined for all of us to rebuild Indonesia.

In fact, Information Communication and Technology (ICT) have been utilized in schools even though relatively small in numbers. At present, there is a program for Elementary Teacher Education called PGSD program in Indonesia. The PGSD program is an in-service teacher training program especially for elementary school teachers in Indonesia, to improve their qualifications from Diploma-2 to Strata-1 level, conducted through ICT-based distance learning mode. This study uses survey method to examine the accessibility of ICT infrastructure and networks, and the effectiveness of using ICT for teaching and learning in six university member of PGSD program in Indonesia. The results of the study show that the PGSD program needs to improve the ICT infrastructure and networks as well as apply ICT based teaching and learning skills.

Article focused on human being as a rational creature. Therefore, every undertaken preference could be interpreted as a rational selection. The issue emerged will clarify whether every human action can be categorized as a rational act. This article aimed to clarify the conditions that could be considered as the fundamental for appraising a choice as a rational choice. The method utilized to explicate the subject was literature review. There are several conditions that were discussed in this article, they were the principle of rationality, preferences, interests, and beliefs. The research finds out that the fourth condition is the basis for a rational choice.

Digital games are a commercial product developed and distributed by media companies and often uses characters or scenarios of movies, books, and comics. The digital game play comes from individual media consumption patterns. Playing digital games also offer experience and satisfaction based on interactive communication technologies and immersive gameplay. In this digital age, digital games became more social-based, which means they implement the need to invite friends on social media to come into play and help each other in the game. The problems of this study was to determine what factors make Hay Day popular among the players and to find out how Hay Day changing the social patterns interaction of the players. This study aims to look at the functions of digital games in the context of communication with relations in social media and why certain games can achieve very high popularity, while other games failed miserably. This research focuses on Hay Day. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach with case study method. Data collection is using interviews with players active in the game, as well as observation and literature studies. The results showed that a game may gain popularity if someone has a social media environment prior to play. Interactive concept, simulation, and fantasy game technology are also the reason Hay Day became very popular. The perception that the digital game player who formerly regarded as anti-social experience has shifted in the concept of digital game-based social bookmark. Players who have a lot of friends in games are seen as someone who has a lot of friends and a high social level. This is in line with the functions of a traditional game in Indonesian culture, where the region has a wide variety of games to be played together and motivate positive social interaction. Function of digital games also increased, other than playing the game as entertainment, but also now the game became one of the effective tools to convey the message to the public.

This article aimed to determine the three-dimensional visual tradition in the Majapahit kingdom. This was a manifestation of aesthetic that expressed in various forms, one of them was the figurines that represented linkage aspects in Majapahit’s community life. Terracotta was used as the main basic material in making figurines. Figurines indicated two aspects, namely the human relationship with the natural environment surrounding that translated into a mechanism for the creation, and showed the dimensions of social life in the Hindu tradition. The method used is empirical relational visual with text. In addition, the article was the result of field research conducted under the supervision of Sacred Bridge Foundation, which lasted from 2009 to 2010 in Trowulan as a heritage center site of Majapahit that spread over an area of nearly 100 km2. The research finds out that figurines as a proof of authenticity and identity of the Majapahit that understood as the embodiment of visual culture manifestation.
