Abstract

Fracture is the broken continuity of the bone. Based on type and size of the bone, bone can break when it is not strong enough to withstand the pressure applied to the bone. The purpose of this research was to determine the management of the ineffectiveness of peripheral tissue perfusion in Mrs.S suffering from third-day post ORIF with the indication of femur 1/3 distal dextra fracture in Cempaka room, Ungaran Regional Hospital. Management results obtained swollen femur on the third-day post ORIF. It can cause complications due to the ineffectiveness of peripheral tissue perfusion in the patient. A suggestion for nurses in the hospital is to be able to carry out routine observations in post-operative ORIF patients that might experience changing condition. Key words:ROM Exercise, Ineffective Peripheral Tissue Perfusion, Post ORIF

The research results showed that most of the heads of room performed good directing function as many as 76 people (92.7%),most of the nurses were compliance in practicing patient safety: five moment hand hygiene as many as 78 people (95,1%). The result of statistical test using Fisher's Exact Test obtained p value of 0,001 (α = 0,05). There is a correlation between nurse’s perception of directing function of head of room with nurses’ compliance in practicing hand hygiene in Inpatient Room of Ungaran General Hospital.Nurses need to increase patient safety awareness and compliance hand hygiene to minimize the incidence of nosocomial infections.Key words: directing function of head of roomnurses’ compliancehand hygienenurse’s perception

Abstract

Good quality sleep gets fresh and healthy when awakened from sleep. Poor sleep quality is a risk factor for physical and psychological problems. The problem will arise activating the sympathetic nervous system which eventually causes an increase in blood pressure. So it is important to research because there are still many respondents who experience poor sleep quality with increasing blood pressure. To determine the correlation between sleep quality with blood pressure. Research design descriptive corellational with cross sectional approach. Population in this study is students of PSIK at Ngudi Waluyo University. The sample technique used purposive sampling. The number of samples  is 78 respondents. Analysis of research data used the Spearman Rank Correlation test. The results showed that the students who experienced poor sleep quality were 70 respondents (89.7%). The highest blood pressure of the students was systolic blood pressure of 110 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure of 80 mmHg. On the relationship between sleep quality and systolic blood pressure with a coefficient (r) of 0.400, the strength of the relationship is interpreted at a low level. On the relationship between sleep quality and diastolic blood pressure with a coefficient (r) of 0.619, the strength of the relationship is interpreted at a high level. There was a significant correlation between sleep quality and blood pressure with p-value of 0,000 <0.05. It is expected that the respondents and the society should better regulate blood pressure in order to get good quality sleep.Key words: sleep qualityblood pressure

Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) is the process of breastfeeding the baby immediately after the baby is born, where the baby is left looking for the mother's own nipples. IMD is very important not only for the baby, but also for the mother. impact on the higher infant mortality rate (IMR). The purpose of this study analyze the relationship between mother's level of knowledge and the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD). This type of research is a quantitative descriptive study with a cross-sectional study approach. A sample of 32 respondents using total sampling techniques in accordance with inclusion and exclusion criteria. The study was conducted at the Semarang Clinic on May 20 - June 20, 2020. The relationship between mother's level of knowledge and the implementation of Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) with a value of p (0,000) <0.05. Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) provides many benefits for the health of mothers and newborns. Benefits for mothers Early breastfeeding initiation (IMD) has been shown to increase the level of the hormone oxytocin and accelerate uterine involution 2 hours post partum and shorten the time of placental release so as to prevent post partum hemorrhage which is one of the biggest causes of maternal death throughout the world including Indonesia. Benefits for babies, touching with the mother provides warmth, calmness so that breathing and baby's heartbeat becomes regular. If IMD is not done immediately, it will have an impact on the higher IMR in Indonesia. Therefore it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of the mother with the implementation of the Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD).Key words: Mother's KnowledgeEarly Breastfeeding Initiation
