The output of a green energy generator is required to be monitor continuously. The monitoring process is important because the performance of the energy gen- erator needs to be known and evaluate. However, monitoring the generator manu- ally and efficiently is troublesome. Moreover, when most of the energy generator located at uneasy to reach or at a very remote place. Added to the cost, human intervention for the monitoring process contributes to the unnecessary bill. All the highlighted limitations can be overcome using an internet cloud base system and application. Most of the existing data logging instruments use a memory card or personal computer in their operation. The stored data is accessible only at a dedicated computer alone. This work presented a complete energy generator interface with a commercial online digital dashboard. The digital dashboard, parameters of the wind turbine, such as the amount of power generates and the magnitude of instantaneous voltage can be monitored, and the recorded data can be accessed quickly, at any time and anyplace.

Normally, when research on active compensation models, previous studies only assumed that the source of harmonics is nonlinear load. The nonlinear load here is fixed and balanced, the supply voltage is considered ideal, i.e. the three-phase source is balanced and there is no distortion. However, in reality, the above assumption is difficult to achieve. Therefore, this paper aims to design an integrated compensation model for different types of harmonic sources. The types of harmonic sources considered here include: harmonic sources generated from nonlinear load and source. The requirement of the integrated compensation model is to create a balanced three-phase voltage at the terminal of the load and the supply current must be a sinusoidal wave in phase with the source voltage. In order to reduce the loss caused by the inverter switching, this paper uses a three-level Neutral Point Clamped inverter. The simulation results performed on Psim software have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed integrated compensation model compared to the traditional integrated compensation model in reducing harmonics and stabilizing DC-bus voltage.

In this paper we introduce a Cubic Root Unscented Kalman Filter (CRUKF) compared to the Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) for calculating the covariance cubic matrix and covariance matrix within a sensor fusion algorithm to estimate the measurements of an omnidirectional mobile robot trajectory. We study the fusion of the data obtained by the position and orientation with a good precision to localize the robot in an external medium; we apply the techniques of Kalman Filter (KF) to the estimation of the trajectory. We suppose a movement of mobile robot on a plan in two dimensions. The sensor approach is based on the Cubic Root Unscented Kalman Filter (CRUKF) and too on the standard Unscented Kalman Filter (UKF) which are modified to handle measurements from the position and orientation. A real-time implementation is done on a three-wheeled omnidirectional mobile robot, using a dynamic model with trajectories. The algorithm is analyzed and validated with simulations.

In this paper, three-phase, four-wire shunt active power filter (SAPF) is utilized to mitigate system harmonics of distorted voltage source for unbalanced and nonlinear loads. Basically, the source voltage should be pure sinusoidal waveform to get a good mitigation of source current harmonics. In this under study system, the source voltage is assumed to be harmonic distortion non-sinusoidal voltage source. The phase locked loop (PLL) control circuit is wielded for extracting the fundamental component of the distorted source voltage to use it as an input signal to the SAPF control. Another input signal to the SAPF is the distorted load current. The SAPF control system uses (p-q) theory to calculate the optimum instantaneous current to be injected by the SAPF to mitigate the source current harmonics even the source voltage is harmonic distorted. MATLAB/SIMULINK software package is utilized to simulate the system under study. The effect of SAPF is tested when it’s used with and without the PLL control circuit. The simulation results show that, the THD of source current when using the PLL control circuit is improved to comply with the harmonic limits given in the IEEE 519-1992 and IEC 61000-4-7 standards.

In electric power system, the vital topic to be mooted is economic load dispatch (ELD). It is a non-linear problem with some unavoidable constraints such as valve point loading and ramp rate constraint. For solving ELD problem distint methods were devised and tried for different electric supply systems yielding slow convergence rates. To achieve fast convergence, dual objective multi constraint swarm optimization based advanced economic load dispatch (DOMSOBAELD) algorithm is proposed making use of simulated values of real power outages of a thermal power plant as initial estimates for PSO technique embedded in it and used for optimizing economic dispatch problem in this article. DOMSOBAELD method was developed in the form of amalgamating fluids. Presence of power line losses, multiple valves in steam turbines, droop constraints and inhibited zones were utilized to optimize the ELD problem as genuinely approximate as possible. The results obtained from DOSOBAELD are compared with particle swarm optimization (PSO), PSOIW and differential particle swarm optimization (DPSO) techniques. It is quite conspicuous that DOMSOBAELD yielded minimum cost values with most favourable values of real unit outputs. Thus the proposed method proves to be advantageous over other heuristic methods and yields best solution for ELD by selecting incremental fuel cost as the decision variable and cost function as fitness function.

Deep Learning (DL) is one of the hottest fields. To foster the growth of DL, several open source frameworks appeared providing implementations of the most common DL algorithms. These frameworks vary in the algorithms they support and in the quality of their implementations. The purpose of this work is to provide a qualitative and quantitative comparison among three such frameworks: TensorFlow, Theano and CNTK. To ensure that our study is as comprehensive as possible, we consider multiple benchmark datasets from different fields (image processing, NLP, etc.) and measure the performance of the frameworks' implementations of different DL algorithms. For most of our experiments, we find out that CNTK's implementations are superior to the other ones under consideration.

As the luminescence industry develops, the white light light-emitting diode (LED) package with a single chip and a single phosphor although produces good luminous flux but has a poor color rendering index (CRI) can no longer fulfill the requirements of modern lighting applications. Therefore, this research is conducted to response to the urgent demands of improving other lighting qualities of WLED while maintaining high luminous efficiency. To achieve this target, we applied the new WLED package, which contains multi-chips and multi-phosphor layers, and have obtained outstanding results in both CRI and luminous efficacy. Two types of phosphor used in the WLED package are Y2O3:Ho3+ and ZnO:Bi3+. A color configuration model is also developed to adjust the shading of the white-light LED module. The results of this research show that the triple-layer phosphorhas the best performance when applied in a white-light LED package, which is demonstrated through better color quality, CRI and luminous efficacy, The manufacturers can rely on this research to produce the optimal-quality WLED, or WLED that is appropriate to their quality demands.

Twitter sentiment analysis is one of the leading research fields. Most of the researchers were contributed to twitter sentiment analysis in English tweets, but few researchers focus on the multilingual twitter sentiment analysis. Some challenges are hoping for the research solutions in multilingual twitter sentiment analysis. This study presents the implementation of sentiment analysis in multilingual twitter data and improves the data classification up to the adequate level of accuracy. Twitter is the sixth leading social networking site in the world. Active users for twitter in a month are 330 million. People can tweet or re-tweet in their languages and allow users to use emoji’s, abbreviations, contraction words, miss spellings, and shortcut words. The best platform for sentiment analysis is twitter. Multilingual tweets and data sparsity are the two main challenges. In this paper, the MLTSA algorithm gives the solution for these two challenges. MLTSA algorithm divides into two parts. One is detecting and translating non-English tweets into English using natural language processing (NLP). And the second one is an appropriate pre-processing method with NLP support can reduce the data sparsity. The result of the MLTSA with SVM achieves good accuracy by up to 95%.

Indoor air quality as always is the centre of attention for researchers, architect developers and public health officials. As every-one know. The human exposure to a variety of indoor pollutants and the high cost of energy are the motivation for these kinds of studies. Fungus and mould growth has always been a problem in subtropical climate areas due to the high temperature and high humidity. Generally in institutional buildings, most of the internal heat load is generated by human body and thermal comfort is achieved with extensive usage of recycled air and air conditioning. The main considerations in any air conditioning system economisers are based on the usage of recycled air and air ventilation. The current practice in an institutional building cooling system under subtropical climate is to curb the mould issue by overcooling large recirculation airflow to remove the moisture content from the air, which is considered as an expensive practice. The use of a solar desiccant cooling system to reduce moisture from the air and to improve indoor air quality is found to be economical, environmental friendly and readily achievable in the tropics. This technology is the future alternative to the conventional vapour compression cooling system to maintain human thermal comfort conditions and enhance indoor air quality. Solar desiccant cooling systems are also environmentally friendly and energy efficient. This paper presents review on a solar desiccant cooling system and its effect on indoor air quality. It first introduces the issue of air moisture, mould growth and indoor air quality and then the development and application of thermally activated desiccant cooling technologies.
